The college has good ambience, good lab facilities, experienced faculty and 100 % placements.
Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed in our college. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 23,000 per month and the highest salary package offered was 31 LPA. The top recruiting companies were SAP, JP Morgan, MC Kinsey and Deloitte, Oracle, Google and Microsoft. Roles offered were as a software analyst, system developer, system analyst, troubleshooter, software application architect, software consultant, hardware engineer and technical writer. The highest salary offered in our course was of 29 LPA by Amazon. Around 30% of the students got internships from our college.
Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi and interactive classes with smart technology. There is a big library with various collections of books, novels, comics and magazines. Labs have updated systems with the latest software and frameworks to work. The food served is good vegetarian food. Hostels have good rooms, free Wi-Fi, enough washrooms and maintain basic hygiene. At the time of medical issue, the warden takes the candidate to a nearby clinic or to Amrita hospital. We celebrate all the even semesters indulging in sports and extracurricular activities. We also have a well-organised student activities branch for computer society of India.
Faculty: Our faculty crew include PhD scholars, Cisco graduates, MBA graduates and are recruited from various institutes world wide. There are many journals and thesis submitted by our faculty members. There are also NPTEL distant graduates etc. The curriculum includes a special subject called life skills that teaches aptitude and verbal reasoning for company online exams and tech interviews along with student training session that prepares the students to deal with interviews, discuss JAMs and other placement oriented tactics. Our existing curriculum helps students to understand the basics and makes students adaptable to work on any platform. Moreover, our institution revises its curriculum every three years. So we are up to date with the latest technologies and inventions.
Other: I opted for the course because of my interest. Our day to day life revolves around technology, mainly, gadgets that make life easier. Producing a gadget without proper and interactive user interface will not be useful. Behind every hardware device or gadget you use, there is always a software that makes the device familiar with the end-user. Thus, this course has a future scope. As of now, there are no improvements I could suggest. But at times, I feel the course is too hectic, and at times I feel it is so simple.
