Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.Sc. students at Anugrah Narayan College?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Placement Cell Success Rate for B.Sc Students at Anugrah Narayan College

    * Unfortunately, the placement cell does not seem to prioritize placing B.Sc students in private companies. According to some students, around 20% of students may get placed, but mostly in government jobs.
    * Some students mentioned that while the college provides internships, these opportunities might not directly lead to job offers. For example, one student stated that Baba Chemicals provides jobs to students, but this is not a guaranteed outcome.
    * Chemistry honors students reportedly receive direct placements, whereas B.Sc Botany students do not appear to benefit from the placement cell's efforts.
    * The college seems to focus more on preparing students for government exams, such as UPSC, BPSC, SSC, banks, and railways, rather than providing direct job placements.

In summary, the placement cell at Anugrah Narayan College appears to have limited success in securing jobs for B.Sc students in private companies, with most students opting for government jobs instead.

It is the best college in Patna.
Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Many students got internships from our college in companies like HDFC Bank, RBI, Aditya Birla, etc. If students are interested, they can join internships by informing the principal.
Infrastructure: Our department has a laboratory. It has all the important things which help students to study. There are many books in the library to study well about anything. Classrooms are very well-maintained. Our college provides a very good environment to study. The campus is very good with a lot of security and cameras.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to all students without any discrimination. They teach all the students equallt. The semester exams are not very difficult. They depend on students how they study. Exams are very easy for average students.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a botany professor as I am very interested in botany subject. Events are held every month.

    Review of Anugrah Narayan College.
Placements: Only 1% of students got placed in our college. The highest, average, and lowest salary packages are not offered to students. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students. Students have not got their internships from our college. Top roles are not offered to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. All classrooms are good. The seating arrangement of classrooms is modern. Our college has a library. Wi-Fi service is available on campus, but students cannot use it as it is for teachers only. The library is Wi-Fi enabled. There is no hostel in our college. Our college has a canteen. It provides good food but is expensive. Medical facilities are not available in our college.
Faculty: All teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not very helpful to students. The interaction between teachers and students is not very good. This course curriculum is not very relevant and does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much difficult. Students who study a bit can pass exams easily. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I opted for this course because I like to study this course. The best thing about this course is that it provides experiment classes. Only a few events are held in our college. The campus crowd is average. You can get scholarships easily. Extracurricular activities are good. Students who have an interest in sports may come to our college because sports are very good in our college. It is not a good college for students who want to get jobs through placements.

    Highly satisfied in every aspect.
Placements: The highest was 6 LPA, while the lowest might be 3 LPA as per the performance and requirements of the company. The average can be around 3–4 LPA. Since it is a well-established college in Patna, companies prefer to come here as their best hope.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good and hygienic. Hostels are being made in the corners to ensure a peaceful environment so that students are not disturbed by the vehicle sound. Water and food, especially the mess, are impressive; police, medical, and playgrounds are within the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated. Have a better understanding of how to help students and improve them. Semester exams are held on time, though the exams are conducted in a little bit of a of a hard manner, but it will definitely help in improving yourself for each and every exam in life.

I would recommend students to take admission to this college.
Placements: There were no placements because it was a low-government college. Even students do not go to campus regularly.
Infrastructure: Hostels were not available. Washrooms were also not maintained properly for both boys and girls. The library was available and it was always crowded. Wi-Fi was available for faculty members only.
Faculty: Faculty members were not good. They were not well-qualified and few of them were not Ph.D. scholars. Semester exams were easy because they tell us to cheat during exams. They also take money for practicals to give us marks in internal exams. I would not recommend students to join this college.
Other: It was a government college so the fee structure was affordable. Our campus was also not clean. This course was not a good choice if you want to study botany for professionalism.
