    Worth the Investment?

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

    * Faculty: The faculty members are praised for being "extremely wonderful" and "helpful." Many students appreciate their willingness to take extra time to assist with studies and personal issues.
    * Placements: Unfortunately, the placement record is considered "average." Few students received internships or job offers, and the salary range was relatively low (Rs. 6,000 - 12,000).
    * Infrastructure: While the college has good facilities such as a library and canteen, the infrastructure is considered "average." Air-conditioning and Wi-Fi are limited, and the classroom facilities could be improved.
    * Course Curriculum: Students praise the relevance and practicality of the course curriculum, saying it helps prepare them for future careers.

Considering these points, whether B.Com at Apeejay College of Fine Arts is worth the investment depends on individual priorities. For those seeking strong academic guidance and a supportive environment, the college may be suitable. However, for those relying heavily on career services and placements, the college may fall short.

It's essential to weigh the pros and cons before making an informed decision. Ultimately, investing in higher education requires careful consideration of factors beyond academics, such as personal growth, networking opportunities, and career prospects.

I am pretty satisfied with it.
Placements: Many students did not get placements from our batch. I think our college can definitely make some more improvements in their placements process because we didn't have many options to choose from. I remember we were just told about one placement in Tommy Hilfiger for the hiring in their retail stores.
Infrastructure: Facilities were good. Our campus did not have the facility of Wi-Fi and air-conditioners for commerce students of BBA and B.Com. Other than that, they were all good. Food available in the canteen was very delicious. We always used to like food and hang out.
Faculty: Faculty members were extremely wonderful and courteous. I remember teachers from the 1st semester till up to my graduation were so polite that wherever we used to meet, they would conversate very happily. In the class as well, they were extremely helpful and did not ignore the doubts or any problems which students had.

Good faculty, personality development & building up confidence .
Placements: The placements experience according to me is average. We have companies that offer us starting from 6k and maximum 12k. From my batch hardly a few got into internship because in our college we are not guided much about what to do and how to in an interview. So most of the students don't opt for interviews for placements.
Infrastructure: The library is really good. You'll get all the necessary material over there. Not just that there are novels and other books too. So apart from education a student can explore other options. In my view canteen is not very good, but the facilities changes with time. And for infrastructure, college remains clean and hygienic. But according to what amount they charge from students, they could do much more.
Faculty: Teachers are the main asset of apeejay. Teachers are even willing to take extra time to help you with your studies and even other problems that are outside that area. Except a very few teachers (2-3) that are partial when I comes to functions of the college and other things as well. Honestly if your main concern is related to faculty. Just go for it I'll suggest.
Other: To be honest apeejay is a renowned college in Jalandhar. You won't get a good crowd in any other college other than apeejay. The very first thing apeejay develops in you is your personality. To be honest I Believe if I were not in apeejay I wouldn't have a as much as confidence I have today. The personality and confidence I have today is all because of the college.

Great infrastructure, supportive faculty, good placements, and lively campus life.
Placements: Around 70% of the students from the B.Com course were placed during the last placement drive. Some of the top roles offered to B.Com students included Financial Analyst, Tax Consultant, Audit Associate, Business Analyst, Marketing Executive, Accounts Executive, and Relationship Manager.
Infrastructure: Course/Department Facilities: Classrooms are air-conditioned with projectors and smart boards. The library is well-stocked with books, journals, and e-resources. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and hostels. Computer labs are equipped with software like Tally and SAP for practicals. Seminar halls are used for workshops and guest lectures. Hostel facilities include clean, comfortable rooms with basic amenities. The food offers a decent variety in the mess, and the canteen has snacks and drinks. Medical facilities consist of an on-campus health center with doctors on call. Sports facilities are available for cricket, football, basketball, and there is a gym.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, with interactive lectures focusing on both theoretical concepts and practical applications. Faculty members are approachable outside of class, offering guidance on assignments and career advice. Overall, the learning experience is well-rounded and supportive.
Other: The college hosts vibrant fests and has a diverse campus crowd. The surroundings are lively, scholarships are available, and extracurricular activities include sports, drama, and entrepreneurship.

    I am satisfied with college.
Placements: Around 75% of the students got placements, and help was provided in every aspect. Recruitment was done out of India. I don't know the exact salary package offered to the students. However, students who did their best got a salary package according to that. Currently, they are also offering the half part of the MBA here and another in the USA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was average and could be improved. According to the fee structure, it was less in terms of infrastructure, but overall, it was not that bad. Canteen facilities were good, and the park was also maintained. Classrooms can be improved. The auditorium was well-maintained, and functional attributes were appropriate.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified and helped us in every subject. I have no complaints against that. They guided us through the right path, and there was no need for extra classes or tuitions as it was enough for us to study. The rest self-study made it done.
Other: Lots of events happened here, and all were fun. Our college is known for its events.

Overall, it is a recommended college.
Placements: Mostly, students opted for higher studies abroad or for masters here. Some students who don't want to study further are started their own business or joined in their family business. So I have no idea what percentage of students got placed.
Infrastructure: Basic facilities are available here like Wi-Fi, a library for books and canteens, but there are no air-conditioners in classrooms or canteen. The air-conditioning facility was available only for staff members and the reception members, but not for students. Other than that, the quality of the food served is needed to be better.
Faculty: In terms of the course curriculum, our college was great, and it had remarkable teachers. Teachers were really understanding, helpful and friendly who ultimately helped all the students to learn important things from the college other than just scoring marks. I am very grateful to our teachers.
Other: I chose B.Com because it's very versatile course as any student can choose any field after B.Com. There is no bound to do something specific in life.

I am satisfied with the cooperation of staff members.
Placements: Campus placements in this course did not take place. None of the companies visits here for placements, and no companies visit in Jalandhar. It is mostly restricted to metro cities only or universities only. There are many companies which recruit B.Com graduate, but none of the companies visited.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a hostel facility, and the infrastructure of the college is pretty good. Proper cleanliness is maintained throughout. There are sports activities with the tournament taking place. Food of the canteen is affordable and pretty healthy.
Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful throughout the course and taught things to great satisfaction. The course curriculum is relevant to the needs of the industry. Good and relevant materials are provided for studies by the teachers, which help in scoring well.
Other: Good chances are given for participating in extracurricular activities so that students are always active.
