April 2, 2022: The Apeejay Institute of Design (AID) has opened admissions for the academic year 2022-23 for Graduate and Post Graduate Design programmes. Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Animation & Multimedia are among the specialisations available through these programmes.
After successful completion of the programme, students can work as Fashion Designers, Visual Merchandisers, Textile Designers, Apparel Designers, Fashion Stylists, Fashion Show Organizers / Fashion Publishers, Graphic Designers, Art Directors, Film Makers, Website Designers, Academicians, Illustrators, Game Designers / Animators, and Merchandising-Designers etc. Some may opt for entrepreneurship opportunities. Placements: The placement committee in the campus is very pro active. There is almost 100 percent placement. They understand the field of interest of the person and plan interviews accordingly. Well known design firms visits for campus placements and internships. I was offered 2,40,000 as my starting salary package which is a very good start.
Placements: I got good opportunities through the internal placement cell for my summer internships. The pay was good. I even got job offers during that period and I am still in touch with my connections. 100% of the students were given the opportunity out of which 60% were placed in career-building internships and jobs.
Placements: The placements totally depend on the quality of work and how well you can communicate with the clients. The recruiting companies included Marks and Spencer, Westside, etc. The college provides internship opportunities to all students, and the top roles were designers and creative directors.
