Q:   Is it worth pursuing LL.B. at Army Law College?

A:
{Source: LL.B. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here are some key points to consider:

* Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, with many holding PhDs and being practicing lawyers themselves. They are known for their friendliness, approachability, and willingness to support students.

* Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant to the legal profession, and the programme includes internships that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

* Infrastructure: The college has a state-of-the-art infrastructure, with well-equipped libraries, computer labs, and smart classrooms. The hostel facilities are also considered good, with amenities like gyms, laundry areas, and messes.

* Placements: While the college hasn't had placements yet (due to its relatively recent establishment), the Placement Cell is actively working to secure internships and jobs for students. Some students have already secured pre-placement offers (PPOs) worth INR12 Lacs per annum.

* Industry-readiness: Many students feel that the college's focus on practical training and internship opportunities prepares them well for the industry. Teachers' industry experience also helps bridge the gap between theory and practice.

* Scholarships: No scholarships are currently offered through the Army website, but students can explore external scholarship options.

Overall, while there might be some limitations, the Army Law College seems to offer a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing a career in law. With its qualified faculty, relevant curriculum, and improving placement record, it could be a worthwhile option for students looking to build a solid legal education.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, and good placements last year.
Placements: Our college provides 70–80% placements with an average annual package of 4-5 LPA in the litigation and corpus fields. Our top recruiting companies are Amazon, Luthra's and Khaithan. Our students got internships in companies like the Armed Forced Tribunal, Luthra and Luthra, Khaithan & Co., etc. The basic roles offered in these programs are legal interns.
Infrastructure: We have a well-equipped library and a fully working Wi-Fi system. We have computer labs and separate reading rooms. Our college hostel is well occupied with gym facilities, messing facilities, and double and triple shared rooms. Our classrooms have well-equipped smart boards too.
Faculty: Our faculty are Ph.D. scholars and some of them are practicing lawyers. We have well-trained faculty to make sure the students get the best education possible. Our course curriculum is at Savitri Bhai Phule Pune University. Our semester exams are moderate and not that difficult. Especially the first 2 years of BBA.
Other: We have an annual fest every year with the name Varunotsav. We celebrate almost every religious festival. We have annual sports meet.

The underneath truth of Army Law College, Pune.
Placements: The Placement Cell is taking vital initiatives for placements. Till now they were focusing on internships and were successful in getting some real good internships for management as well as for law. The first placements are scheduled to happen this year as our first batch passes out.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is state of the art. The entire campus is connected with wi-fi. The classrooms have smart board. The library is equipped with all the necessary books, online databases such as Manupatra, SCC Online, AIR Online are also available. Talking about the hostels, they too are very comfortable, we have a common room, a gym, laundry area and mess inside the hostel itself. The hostel to is inside the campus and has seperate wi-fi available. The mess food is good, as compared with other hostels of the country.
Faculty: The faculty stays in campus till around 9 PM, they are there when you need them. The faculty members are very approachable. They are there to support you everytime you need them. Needless to say our faculty is well qualified for the position they are holding. The course curriculum is very much relevant, the subjects taught are the need for the legal profession. We also have to undertake internships during our semester breaks as a part of our curriculum. Thus making sense of applying the theoretical knowledge that we have gained into practical life. The exams are pitty much average, when it comes to difficulty. The pass percentage, including externals and internals is 40%.. .
Other: The college conducts inhouse fests, moot court competitions, debates, extempore, quizzes, ADR competitions regularly and also encourages student to participate outside the college for a holistic growth of the student.

Review of Army Law College.
Placements: There are no placements because it is a new college which has started in 2018. The first placements take place in the year 2023. The average salary package offered was 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is average in this college. Laboratory is also very good quality with computers. Classrooms are well-maintained. The library has many books. The quality of the hostel is good as compared to other colleges. The food quality is also better.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant but it does not make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not difficult.
Other: This college conducts fests every year. There is even a tradition on Christmas of secret Santa. Scholarships are not provided through the army website.

Placements: The college consists of a placement cell with the best members and a faculty head. Our placement cell holds a monthly survey related to internships and experience. Our college holds guest lectures related to placement. It helps students to get internships in prestigious organisations.
Infrastructure: The college is under development. It has buildings with the best facilities and environment. Hostels are equipped with modern technology and modern buildings. Academic blocks and sports grounds are fully made with modern technology. Classrooms are fitted with modern teaching techniques.

I am very much satisfied with the staff, activities, course, and the infrastructure of the college.
Placements: About 60-70% of students will be placed. The highest average salary package offered may be 36 LPA by Wipro. About 100% of students got internships in Tata, Coca Cola India, and many more big companies that appreciate the college in the field and our course. Legal advisory is the job role offered to students.
Infrastructure: The facilities are up to mark and the infrastructure of our college is excellent in all means. Hostels are great and well managed. The food quality is awesome. The canteen is great. Medical facilities are very good and appreciable. There are all most every sport which we can practice them to enhance ourselves.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are well arranged. All have more experience and are very knowledgeable. The quality is just great in education sector. The course is already a complete knowledge package in itself in the field we have chosen and it makes students industry-ready. The exams are set to check the capability of each student whether they are ready for the next one or not. So they are made hard on the basis. The pass percentage of students is around 89%.
Other: I had very much interest in the course I have chosen and I guess, it will satisfy what I want. The thing need to be improved is the break between classes which may enhance students of the course. For the development in other fields as well. There is regular participation in other colleges' festivities. Our college also conducts fest every year. Our college has many connections with other institutions and collaborate with our college to go for a good. Our campus is surrounded with the beautiful nature mountains and hills. We get scholarships on the basis of our grades.
