Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2020
1.2

It is the worst college ever with uneducated faculty.
Placements: First of all, the college is in a village, where you can go in an auto. The overall education environment is good, but you can face difficulties in understanding the concepts in some subjects as the teachers are freshers and are learning to teach and gaining experience. After 3 years of studying there, we didn't get placed anywhere, and not even an internship is offered in my batch of BCA. There were only 18 students, and three students left college in 1st semester. There was a job fest when I was in 4th semester, and the highest package offered was 5 LPA, and the average package was just 2-3 LPA by local companies and startups. It was a bad experience to pursue BCA in this college. The college is affiliated with other universities, so it was really hectic to get all our documents. If you're going there because the fee is affordable, you can go. Otherwise, do not waste your time in this worst college.
Infrastructure: The syllabus is very simple, but 14 students out of 18 fail in 3-4 subjects out of just 5 subjects. Seniors told us that the university and college are gaining profit from re-examination fees, that's why most of the students are failed. The campus has a good park, ground and buildings, but the classrooms, labs, and libraries are not good. You can say they have invested their money only on the outer look of college. The hostel is good, but the mess is not. The food is the worst, and there aren't many facilities like medical, sports, games etc.
Faculty: Teachers are good, friendly, and well-qualified. The teaching quality is not that good as they do not have any teaching experience. They do not make students industry-ready, and you can only do it if you're good at self-studying. The examinations are not that hard, still many students fail.
Other: I chose BCA as I like coding and computers, and its syllabus has many programming languages. They can improve it by hiring experienced teachers, and by investing in inner looks also. They should provide facilities like good food, sports, games etc. No student wants to visit their boring events and functions, but the college makes it mandatory for all by charging a penalty of INR 500-1,000 if students are absent. Students are friendly. Mostly, students are from Kashmir, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and a few students are from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana. The college does not provide scholarships as the fee is already very low. They conduct mainly two functions, Rajni and Roshan, annually. Rajni and Roshan are the parents of the founder Mr. Kataria sir. However, they charge their students to conduct this function.

Good for the ones who do not want to spend much for a degree.
Placements: Very few students got placement from this college specially the ones who were looking for a job after Bachelors. The one who got placed maximum of them did'nt got very good packages. A good number of companies like Infosys and wipro came to the college to give jobs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available for stutents in college and also in hostels. The latest books are not available in library. Hostel food is not good. Canteen is very small. Toliets in the college as well as in hostel are very poor in hygine.1 small ground which is not well maintain for any sport.
Faculty: I have to say teachers are very cooperative and friendly with students. Students are taught through projectors. Maximum teachers who teaches in the college have done Bachelors only. Course curriculum is very good since the college is affiliated with PTU Jalandhar.
Other: BCA is a very good 3 years course. Anyone who is interested in computers can look into it. In this you will get to know about computer languages (C, C+, Java etc. ), and a lot more.

East or west, Aryans college is the best.
Placements: Placements occur most of the time in our batch and for those who got the best of the talent. The percentage of students who got placed was about 47 percent. The highest and lowest packages were 3 lacs per annum 2 lacs per annum respectively. The college has a 95% placement rate for our senior batches. The companies visiting the campus are TCS, Wipro, Aircel, Muthoot, Netshell, DLF, HDFC etc. The roles offered were for software development, PHP, Java Developers etc. About 35 percent students got the internship from the college but I have no information regarding the stipend offered.
Infrastructure: There are 5 blocks in the campus and a boys' hostel is also available here. Wi-Fi is present throughout the campus, and it has a well-maintained library with a variety of books. The indoor auditorium provides facilities for a variety of indoor sports and a tennis court. The ground that was previously used for sports is now used for a new building in the process of being built. The quality of classrooms is adequate, and certain labs have good hardware whereas some have relatively older machines. The quality of food in the canteen is awesome. Buses and local vehicles are available for transportation.
Faculty: Talking about courses and curriculum, the college has a fully flexible credit system (FFCS). In this system, you can choose your own subjects, your own teachers whom you want to study from and your own timing for the classes which is way cool. Also, all the teachers are good and highly qualified. You need to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in order to give exams which include two mid-terms and one final exam. The other types of subjects are Like computer architecture, microprocessor and data structure.
Other: The college is awesome but it is good if one scores good marks in the exam conducted because your fee depends on your marks. You get scholarships from the college as well as from the government.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with all the facilities. Labs and classes are average and clean. Library is up to the mark with all the books. Hostel and canteen are good and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are very good with very good teaching experience. They provide knowledgeable information. Teaching quality was good. Exams are a little difficult but students can easily pass if they attend classes.
