Placements: Average placement. Avg package in EE: 2.4 LPA. And, the IT and CS branch there has the highest package of INR 8 LPA but these are not on-campus. All of these are pool campuses. Only 1 or 2 companies come here and [that too very rarely in this college. Only TCS will be coming and taking students from all the branches.
Placements: No one got placed anywhere. Out of 60 students in total, no one got placed in their respective courses. Some got placed because of their own choices and by changing their respective lines. The biggest thing is that no one will guide you or tell you what you should do or follow.
Placements: Placements are very poor, especially in mechanical, civil and electrical courses. In the mechanical course this year, only 10 students out of 160 students got placed. Out of which only 1 got placed in core company, 4 in IT sectors and other students got placed in sales. On the college prospectus, you will find that top MNCs visit for campus placements, but in reality, they never select any student from the college. Many sales companies visited the college this year, but they did not conduct any ...
Placements: The highest package offered was 9 Lacs offered by Intel. The lowest package was 2 Lacs by Shreeram Transport. Job positions were mostly of Software Developer. The placements were mostly 100% and the average package was around 5 Lacs. Coming to internship, the opportunities provided was poor.
Placements: Mass recruiters visit the campus. Approximately, 80% of the students got placed through campus placements. TCS is one of the major recruiters. Other than that, many companies like Bosch, Mintry, CTS, Wipro, Amazon, etc., visit the for mass recruitment. P&G also visits the campus. Many small-scale non-technical companies also offer placements.
Placements: TCS company recruits most of the students of all branches. For good placements, you have to get good semester marks. Small-scale companies also visit the college, but they select very less number of students. A few placements are available for core branches, but those are not good.
Placements: Only software (IT) companies recruit the students on the campus with the majority being recruited in TCS. A few startup core companies with low salaries recruit the students in 10 to 20. Also being in Techno India Group (TIG), the placements are conducted in Techno India, Kolkata. So, every time a company comes for the recruitment of students, the students have to move to Kolkata for placements. The situation is the worst for core branches like EE, ME, and CE as there are no recruiters, and main...
Placements: The placement is not so good. Companies are coming in our college, but the post offered in those companies is very poor. The college is showing that they are providing good campus placements but in reality, they are just making an illusion of that. Also, there is limited no. of core companies. Maximum companies are IT companies. At last, but not least, we always have to travel to Kolkata or to different cities most of the time. The no. of companies that come and conduct recruitment process in ou...
Placements: The placements for my senior batch were not so good as TCS hired only 23 IT members from the 4th year this year. And the other companies like Mindtree etc. hired fewer students. I am in the third, so I don't know anything about my placement as I can't predict the future. The placement this year is a little bit weak, but in the previous years, it had nice placements like 70 to 80 percent of the students were placed in good companies.
I joined Asansol Engineering College in 2011, at that time it had a pretty well placement record for Mechanical students. But recently it has downgraded because of poor faculty and lack of enthusiastic Training and Placement officials. The equipment at our workshops and laboratory are not functional. Even the Library does not have appropriate and new books.
Placements: In our college, placements are average. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. You can get your job before your final semester, which is the third semester. Only the weakest students are hired in the fourth semester.
Placements: Placements are not good in our college. They take money from us and do not provide placements. Our college does not provide placements for the B.Tech branch. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Around two students got placed in our course with salary packages of 3 LPA and 4 LPA.
