Athena School of Management Admission 2024: Fees, Courses, Application Process

Established in 2012, Athena School of Management is one of the leading private business schools in India. It has received accreditation and recognition from various national and international organisations, including the UN Global Compact, FCU, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, Business Graduate Association and Association of Indian Management Schools. The School offers five postgraduate courses in the field of Management.

Athena School of Management follows the Socrates methodology of teaching where 20% of the total sessions is taught by the faculty and 80% is based on interactive sessions, debates and discussions. This helps the students to face real-life business scenarios where they need to make decisions in real-time. Apart from this, the School also familiarises its students with the Corporate Social Responsibility aspect of a business by engaging them in community and vocational services.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any stream in order to be eligible for admission to courses offered by this School. Athena School of Management admission to all the programmes is based on a candidate's performance in NMAT or GMAT. The School offers five postgraduate courses in Management stream, namely PGPM, GMP France, GMP US, Luxury Management and Global EMBA. These courses are of two years' duration. While all the courses are offered in full-time mode, Global EMBA is a part-time course, classes for which are held three days a month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Some key highlights related to Athena School of Management courses are listed below:

• In the second year of PGPM, the School introduces some innovative subjects for students to choose from. These include Visual Merchandising, Risk Management, Lifestyle Design, Corporate Communications, Mass Affluence Dynamics, Situational Strategy & Awareness, Product Delivery Management, to name a few
• GMP France, GMP US and Luxury Management are dual degree programmes
• In GMP France programme, students pursue their first year at the Athena School of Management and then continue their second year at CNAM campus in Paris. During this programme, students are required to complete three internships (two in India, one in France). On completing the course, they hold two qualifications, namely PGPM Global from Athena & Masters in Management (MIM) from CNAM
• For the Luxury Management programme, students pursue their first year at the Athena School of Management and then continue their second year at Rennes School of Business in France. By the end of the programme, students are required to complete three internships (two in India, one in France). They will hold two qualifications on course completion- PGPM in Luxury Management from Athena and MSc in International Luxury & Brand Management from Rennes School of Business
• Similarly, students pursue their first year of GMP US at the Athena School of Management and then continue their second year at University at Albany School of Business, New York. By the end of the programme, students are required to complete multiple internships. They will hold two qualifications on course completion- Global MBA from Athena & MBA from University at Albany- State University of New York (SUNY)
• Global EMBA is offered by the School in association with Kedge Business School. The programme has been rated at 36^th position worldwide and 4^th in France by Financial Times Ranking (2018). It is accredited with AMBA. The programme includes one-week elective in Paris and one-week specialisation in Paris or Shanghai
