My experience of Bangabasi College, Kolkata
Placements: I'm currently in semester 4, so our campus placement isn't yet started. But last year our college has an average placement ratio of 40% and less than 5% from my course. Highest was 2.8 Lakh per annum and lowest was 1.3 Lakh approximately per annum. Last year's top companies were HDFC Bank, TCS, HIL etc. From my course 7 got internship in HDFC Bank and HIL and 1 in TCS. All got in non technical departments.
Mainly All they got in Data analysis, management related field.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very small and doesn't built to cater lots of students. Hostel have a capacity of only 34 people. But the good thing is there are lots of mess, hostel available for students at a low cost just near the college. College has 1 canteen in ground floor. Food quality is just okay not that great but price is affordable. Medical facilities and emergency doctors are available in college timing and only for college students and stuffs. This college doesn't have any specific sports rooms but there are 3 table tennis courts in common room. Infrastructure is well built. Whole campus is WiFi covered. There are labs for each department like physics, chemistry, zoology etc. Lab assistants behaviour is very friendly and also they treat students like there own children. Classrooms are well organized, every classroom has smart boards. Departments have projectors for better learning of students. There is a huge library to cater the students. To enter in the library you should have a library card. There are lots of good collections of story, poems and other necessary study related books. One can borrow book easily without paying any amount. Whole campus is clean. Toilets are also well maintained. Overall a good infrastructure for students.
Faculty: Maximum teachers in our department are PhD holders so they have very good teaching skills and knowledge. They are very friendly, polite to students. On class or off class, they are always there to solve your queries. Overall teaching quality is very good. No general degree college makes industry ready. The main thing a student will acquire a lots of knowledge for further Higher studies with much clearer concepts. Exams are moderate to difficult but not easy. All exams are held by University of Calcutta.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to acquire more knowledge about mathematics and I'm fully satisfied by choosing this college. Every year this college organizes a lots of fest and they invites celebrities like Darshan Raval, Javed Ali, Dev etc. Overall it provides very balanced social life.

Bangabasi from a real Bangabasian!
Placements: Only 20% of our students were placed in our course. The highest package is 2,16,000 per annum, the lowest is 30,000 per annum, and the average is 60,000 per annum. The top recruiting companies are HDFC Life Insurance and Kotak Mahindra. Only 2% of our students got internships at both Kotak and HDFC. The top role offered in our course is Botanist.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi connection, but the connectivity is very poor. The labs are very old, and most of the instruments are missing. Classrooms are quite dark and lack proper lighting. The library is pretty big and well-stocked, though. There are no hostel facilities at our college, so students in need of a place to stay have to look for mess accommodations outside.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, but most of them are unhelpful and lack knowledge. The teaching quality is also very poor. This course curriculum is not very relevant and is not suitable for the industry. The semester exams are quite difficult, with only 1% of students passing.
Other: I chose this course because I am very attracted to greenery, and this course offers a chance to be in nature a lot. I wish this course would make us more industry-ready. The freshers' welcome and yearly fest are quite grand, lasting at least 3 days and being massive. There are no scholarship opportunities and no connectivity or extracurricular activities.

Excellence facility and laboratory with most experienced faculty members.
Placements: Here you get opportunity to work for private institutions or company. It depends on your skill. From Zoology department, every year 30% student students get placement. If I say their package, it has around 2 Lacs per annum. The highest package is 4 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 1.20 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting company for my course is Agrochemical Company. You can also get an internship from India's top-level companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Inox, etc. by meeting the basic requirements of being graduated. One interesting thing is that Calcutta University organized their own summer internship last semester
Infrastructure: The Zoology department of Bangabasi College under CU is really outstanding. Here all facilities are available, like Wi-Fi, 4 labs, 5 classrooms, 2 libraries (1 central library, 1 Zoology library). The best thing is that the Zoology Department has a separate building in good condition and quality. Here you can get free medical services, which is situated on the ground floor. Low-priced stationary and canteen situated in the back building. One famous ground named Calcutta Maidan was shared between two colleges, Asutosh and Bangabasi. You can't believe! Here many sportsmen produced also. One negative thing is that this college doesn't provide hostel facilities. But you can get a hostel from the university.
Faculty: In the Zoology Department, there are twelve most experienced teachers. All teachers are meritorious; even many teachers passed out of this college during their time. They are top-notch on their topics. Tutopia and Practical are most important in Zoology, and Bangabasi College is special for this. There is present expensive equipment and instruments and full knowledge, Professor. You can apply it all in your real life by gaining knowledge from the practical Zoology Department of Bangabasi College. We know the University of Calcutta is the oldest national university, and it is famous for their higher study level. Of course, the semester is really tough under CU, but it is beneficial for upcoming life to get success. The pass percentage of CU is 40%; if you study well, you can easily pass.
Other: Personally, I love to study and apply Biology. Being Bio student, I selected this college for Zoology Hons. Because the best thing of this college is laboratory and experienced faculty members. Here you can get Scholarship for further studies. Every year the college lightening festivals like the freshman party, teachers day, puja, etc. are conducted. On every floor, Wi-Fi is there. Quizzes and competitive events also occur in this college.

I would not recommend joining this college.
Placements: Our college did not provide placement opportunities in 2021. Students did not get internships from this course.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide extra facilities. Our canteen is good. It has a huge crowd. Our college provides Wi-Fi. Its speed is very slow. The library is average. There is no hostel in our college. Many PGs and messes are available near our college.
Faculty: Attendance is compulsory in our college. All teachers are good and very helpful. They teach everything from the syllabus. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. There are only a few teachers in our college. Teachers conduct two classes a day. The course provides the basic theory of each subject. It does not make us industry-ready.

Satisfied because of the facilities. Great placements.
Placements: Due to lockdown place was stopped but nowdays it started. There are too many companies coming to give internship mainly coming chemical and biochemical medicine companies. They offered lab technician role mostly. The college offer many courses like Physics social education, etc.
Infrastructure: Different classroom with Wi-Fi enabled with 2 labs and 1 library. Bangabasi College doesn't provide hostel but there was a canteen and sport area. One time per year celebrate sport. So, overall Wi-Fi labs classrooms library is great. You can absolutely join.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They solve your queries. After the course you are ready for any botany labs. Semester exams are perfect.
99.8 percent passed out result. So, overall on my experience teaching quality is great with solving Quarries and notes.

Love it, I must say it is a good college over alll.
Placements: About 85 percent student admitted in mathematics. The highest 6 LPA and the lowest 3
Tata, microsoft and many other various companies came and took a walk in interview. Many student got their dream job there
10% student got internship and that is a good decision of college there was library facility in the college
I love it the most.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, lab, AC class room
There was hostel for univstudents not college wise

In hostel canteen we can get various of fresh food
Healthy and the infrastructure of hostel was awesome t comes to friends we there were different college student who read in different college s and they I mean we enjoyed.
