Placements: Mechanical placements are not that good. Companies come but mostly they are IT companies. Very difficult to get into core companies. Only the ones who have very good score or have done internships in some better colleges will get clre companies. Even the college offers some internship if you want.
Placements: For core branches, the placement is not so good as in all colleges. For non-core branches, the placement is good. The college is good placements. It provides the best opportunities for students. Many big companies hire the students. In a nutshell, the placement is good.
Placements: Our college is known for its good placements. If you score 60% and above, there is 80% chance of getting placed irrespective of the branch you are from. So, you could say that if you're looking to get a job right after engineering and you're sure you can have an aggregate of 60% or above, then this is the college to study in.
Placements: Placements were not that bad! Good companies come to offset internships in 3rd Sem. Microsoft came last year and conducted 4 rounds but no one got through it. Companies do come and offer jobs but as everyone knows it takes the top cream and the rest of students just get jobs in average companies for an undesired position or opt for some startups.
Placements: There are hundred percent placements for all the students those who don't have any arrears (backlogs), and for the students who completed their course with distinction can get placed in more than three, four companies with higher packages. In this way, I can assure a guaranteed placement in this college.
Placements: Around 50-60 companies visit the campus every year to place students in their respective companies. The students having average scores end up getting placed in multiple companies. The good companies like LinkedIn and Microsoft visit the campus for the placement with good packages.
Placements: The placements is very good in this college from what I've heard. As this College is in the top 5 of Karnataka's best engineering colleges, a lot of reputed companies visit BIT. But at the end of the day it's all about academics, good communication skills, technical knowledge etc., to get a good offer. According me almost placement percentage might be around 75-80%. The salary starts from 3.5L-13/14L PA. Companies are like Samsung, Microsoft, Google, bosch, Mercedes benz visit this college.
Placements: Number 1 College for placement compare to other colleges in Karnataka. More than 70 companies come every year and more than 400 students placed in every year. Each company takes atleast of 50 students. Many of them are working with internship later they join the same company for permanent.
Placements: Well, most of the eligible students are placed in some or the other companies. Maximum offers one can have is 2. the highest salary is 13 LPA and the lowest is 3.3 LPA Companies which visited are CISCO, Akamai, MuSIgma, Bosch, Semi Solutions, Manhattan Associates, Dell, HP, ATOS, Aricent, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, Lowest, LybreWire, Odessa Technologies, Unisys, Nokia, BETSOL, Mercedes Benz, Ninja Kart, Cyient, Sapient, AccelAlpha and some more. Their was various roles offered, Software ...
Placements: The placements have gone a little bit down. There is reduction in the number of companies coming in the past few years. But the placements are nearly 80-100%. The placements had gone up before 3 years. There was a considerable increase in the placements.
Placements: The placements are very good. The faculty are also very good. Every year, at least more than 90 students get well-placed, especially the CS and IS students because CS was first started in a full-fledged manner in this college in all of Karnataka. This college holds a reputation for that even today. The recruiting companies include Microsoft and Google. Even for mechanical engineering, the companies like Accenture visit here and recruit students.
Placements: The placements are good for other branches, but for mechanical recruitment in the core companies is a bit difficult. If you are good at programming or something related to coding, you can be placed easily in IT companies. In my batch out of 200 and odd students, only the handful of people got placed into core companies, around 10 people got placed.
Placements: If you work hard with your percentage, then placement doesn't make an issue. Placement plays the best role for all the final year students. The companies prefer more for EC, but no worries, even some companies prefer telecommunication. If you have an aggregate, then surely, you will get placed. The companies like Accenture, Oracle, Bosch, Ninja Kart, Wipro, and many on the list offers telecommunication.
Placements: Placements in the college from what I have heard from my seniors are just decent, not too good, not bad. Around 60 companies come for recruitment and for mechanical students, the top companies are Bosch and Volvo which are hard to get into. I have very little idea about other branches, which may have better companies. For software related students like computer Science or information Science, the number of companies and options are wider.
Placements: The placements have been an attraction to this college. Almost all the people, who are from the CSE, ECE, and EEE will get placed in one or the other companies. Major companies like NOKIA, Mercedes, and Bosch visit our college every year and takes many students for their companies.
Placements: Placements in our college were comparatively low than the previous year. It is coming down year by year. The management is irresponsible in taking care of the pre-placement training, and no proper intimation regarding the companies policy and criteria. When you get into the placement office, none will be available to help you out. It is just a religious group running the institution.
Placements: I have got placement in Robert Bosch, and most of the people from my batch has been placed. The companies which come for campus placement are mainly IT companies if you want good placement you need to focus more on C, C+, Java, Python. ECE students have good opportunities all the time because they are eligible for all the core and IT companies, unlike the other core branches. The students has to maintain an aggregate of 70% to attend in all the companies which are best and the scope of placement...
Placements: Basically, for civil, only one company comes to college, to hire students, that is, Shobha Construction. Many students were placed in IT companies like Accenture and Infosys. Only one was hired by Shobha from our batch. If you like to join IT field, then our college is the best.
Placements: The placements team works hard to get the companies to the college. Most well-reputed companies visit the campus for the campus selection. The package offered to the students are good. Around, 20 to 30 companies visit the college for the placements. The companies even come for hiring the students for the internships.
Placements: If the candidate is eligible, they can convey his thoughts and have basic technical skills, then he/she will get a job. In my batch, the eligible people got placed. The highest package of Rs. 13-14 Lakhs was provided by Akamai, Cisco, Google (quality assurance) and the lowest was Rs. 3.2 Lakhs provided by MNCs like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro etc.
