The college is in the heart of city and has good placements.

Placements: According to my knowledge, the placements are damn good for computer science, IT, and telecommunication, but it's difficult to get core company placements for mechanical and civil branches. Our college will get visited by companies like Dell, Adobe, Tata Toyota, Bosch, Benz, etc. Overall, our college has pretty well placements.

Good placement, above average infrastructure, and good canteen

Placements: BIT is a top college under VTU. It's so because of the excellent placement and training. I even have the statistics and numbers to support my words. This year, the college placements for the telecommunication department are as follows: Students eligible- 47. Students placed- 39. Number of offers- 40. Overall, you can say that these are very good numbers in placement considering other college's placement statistics.

Worst infrastructure, placement is average and faculty members are not bad.

Placements: If we talk about 2017 batch, they got placed with an average amount of 2-3 lacs per annum only in EEE branch. But in 2016 the placements offered was good. Every year if 50 students are eligible then 40-42 students get placement. In that only 3-4 students get good companies. For other branches like ECE or computer science, the placements are far better than EEE. So, try to get better college than this or get into a good branch in this college. Your rank will decide by the way. ...

Average college in Banglore.

Placements: The placement is good for it related branches. For the core branch, you have to work hard to get a job in the core company as many core companies do not visit here. If you study in CSE, ISE or ECE, you will get the placement with good package. In other branches, you have to work very hard.

There are good placements for the EC and computer science students only.

Placements: The placements are serious in our college. A student can have a maximum of 2 job offers. All reputed companies visit for placements. The students from EC and computer science departments get placed the most, for other departments, the placement percentage is less. 80% of the student get placed who are eligible for placements every year. The average package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum. The roles offered are associates/trainee. Companies with computer science background offer the maximum package...

Satisfied with everything except the infrastructure.

Placements: The sole reason to join BIT is placement. Around 60-70 companies turn up in a year. The top companies being Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, etc. A lot of companies namely GE, HPE, Sapient, LinkedIn, Practo hire students for internship and then convert it to PPO if the students are eligible. Equal opportunities are given to tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 companies. If a student maintains an aggregate of 60% from the beginning, he/she is likely to get into any of the companies. The college is not worthy for the money with a poor infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements for computer science, ECE, EEE, IT, telecom is about 70% with an average package of about Rs. 3.5 lakhs-4 lakhs, but for others, it is the worst. The placement of the civil engineering and mechanical engineering is very poor. The companies like Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, general electrical, L&T, Musigma, Robert Bosch, Aricent, etc. have visited the college. Around 60 companies have visited the college in the year 2015 offering about 650 placements. The highest package offered was ...

Bangalore Institute of Technology - a honest review.

Placements: The placements are pretty good for a college under VTU. The highest package offered for the 2017's batch was of Rs. 14 L by the Walmart Labs. Approximately, 85% of the eligible students got placed. There are around 8-10 companies that offered the packages above Rs. 10 L. The placement training provided by the institute is bad. The students need to prepare themselves.

Dissatisfied because of the campus is not good and there is no play ground.

Placements: The placement is good for our seniors when compared to us. 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary was 13 LPA, and 3 LPA is the lowest, and the average salary is 6 LPA. Many companies visited our college like Dell, Sysco, HP, much more etc. The role sales executive manager and tester, assists engineer etc. 30% of the students got internship and stipend.

It has good placement records, but be self dependent.

Placements: The placements are likely very good in this college where the majority of the companies come here like Oracle, Dell, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The placement training is also given to the students. The highest salary offered, I heard was 18 lacks per annum. About 95% of the students got placed.

Please don't waste your time here

Placements: The placements are average at best. There is no training facility and it depends only on your knowledge that how much you can get in terms of the package. The placement cell organisers are the worst, so is the department management. They won't teach you anything extra apart from the syllabus and expect you to clear interviews of Amazon, Google or Walmart. In a recent internship exam, my whole section was not able to give the exam at a proper time due to the shortage of systems in the lab. Very f...

If you are looking absolutely for the placements this is the right choice for you.

Placements: The placements in BIT are quite good for IT branches, but not so good for mechanical or civil branches. Around 90% of the eligible students got placed in IT mass recruiting firms like Accenture, TCS, Infosys. The highest package offered by Cisco was 17 lakhs per annum for computer science students. The students manage to get average salary package around 4 lakhs per annum. The college is now focusing on the internships as well.

Don't give donation to study here. Not worth!!!

Placements: The placements for my batch was predominantly for the IT branches. There were very few companies for Mechanical and Civil branches. The highest package offered for CSE was 12 lpa and lowest for Mech was 2.2 lpa. However, the trend for my seniors was different as there were more recruitments even for Mech and Civil branches.

My engineering experience at BIT.

Placements: The placements are good. 90% of the eligible candidates get placed in companies ranging from tier 1 to tier 3. The average package being around 6 LPA, the lowest being 4 LPA, and the highest going about 12 LPA. During our batch, we had a mix of roles offered right from software developer, QA, testing engineer, and management trainees. The companies like Google, Akamai, Samsung, fidelity, Adobe, mu-sigma, ACT, TCS, Wipro had visited the campus.

Sub-par college with nothing to go other than the ranking it has.

Placements: One of the strong points to join BIT is placement since it has recognition and reputation. Being ranked number 1 under VTU helps too. A few core companies do visit the college, but unfortunately, a very tiny percentage of the students are recruited mostly in single digits. But there isn't a shortage of IT companies that recruit students from the mechanical department also.

BIT- a top-notch placements and faculty members with a satisfactory infrastructure.

Placements: Well, being one of the first few engineering colleges in Bangalore BIT certainly has a good recognition and reputation among the top companies in Bangalore as well as India. Over 65 world-class companies approach BIT for their campus drives. The campus placements usually start in the 7th semester of the engineering. I can confidently say that at least a 20 students out of the 25 eligible ones will have an offer from the campus. Ther average annual package offered by the IT companies would be Rs....

Placements: The decent placements are offered with package ranging from 3.5 LPA to 12.5 LPA for the final year students. Akamai paid the highest package for the SDET profile. The internship will be offered for both 3rd and 4th-year students by some companies with a stipend range of 15k to 20k. The placement record is 95%+ considering all the eligible students with 60%+ aggregate. This year, 50% of the companies are offering the internship with PPO, which was not there in the last year. Good in academics. placements are good. Poor infrastructure. Nice canteen. Good faculty.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. One needs to maintain above 7 CGPA to achieve a good package. The average package for EEE department is 4L per annum. All from my senior batch are placed in IT companies (out of those who were eligible). Core companies rarely come to the college. So it's an advice that if one wants to get place from the electrical department, maintain a 7+ CGPA.

BIT is worth its name and can be fun.

Placements: Placements are worthy here in BIT. It has various companies coming for placements, and almost everyone gets placed in good companies with good salary packages. The students are placed by the beginning of their final year, which is great. The lowest salary offered was 3.4 LPA, and highest went up to 16 lakhs pa.

Absolutely satisfied with my college because faculty are very good

Placements: In this college, so many IT companies come and take many students. Most of the famous IT companies come such as Microsoft, Mu Sigma, Accenture and core companies also come such as Robert Bosch so we can say that the placement is good in my college. The senior batch placements were also good. Most of them got selected in IT companies. Roles offered to students are managing posts. The lowest salary offered is 3.1 lacs and the highest is 9 lacs.
