An average college for the average students.

Placements: There are average placements every year. If you are not going to get placed in the current year placement drive, you can attend next year placement drives for next year and until any company hires you. There are some companies like Accenture, TCS, and others, who do the most of the recruitment. Google India has visited recently. The average package which is about 3 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs. Some of the best companies in India also visit regularly and offer an excellent package. The placement officer h...

Satisfied with BIT Bangalore because of great placements, pedagogy, campus life and facilities

Placements: BIT-Bangalore is one of the top engineering colleges of Bangalore, and so the placements are also very good. Top multinational firms like Adobe, SAP, Oracle, Mu Sigma, Linkedin, Microsoft and IBM visited the campus for campus placements. The average package for the batch passing out in 2017 was Rs. 5 lakhs per annum. The highest package of 11 lakhs per annum was offered by LinkedIn to 2 students. Almost 80 % of the batch got placed through the campus placements. The roles offered to the students...

Bangalore Institute of Technology: A good option under the list of private colleges

Placements: Quite good placements are there for CSE, IS and ECE branches with average placements for mechanical, civil and other branches. Lots of companies visit like Robert Bosch, Mu Sigma, Bookmyshow and a lot of other big firms. Annual packages go from 3.5 lacs to 15 lacs. Almost 70% eligible students of CSE, IS and ECE students get placed every year.

BIT is a good college only for CS and IS, just because there is almost 100% placements.

Placements: Placements from ISE last year: 9 people were eligible and 36 got placed. The maximum package offered was 14 LPA by Google and the average package was around 5-6 LPA. There were around 130 companies for both CS and IS and around 70-80 companies for EC. Cisco, Robert Bosh, etc offered internships to students with the stipend ranging from Rs. 15000/- to Rs. 40000/-.

Dissatisfied with faculty, infrastructure, canteen, extracurricular activities. Good placements.

Placements: The placement for this branch has been average. This year, the placement was better as compared to the last year's placement, though salaries were average. Only one student was placed with a highly paid job for my senior batch this year. Since my university has changed the department of instrumentation engineering to electronics and instrumentation in the year 2015, the percentage of students placed might increase.

Hopefully, in the placement section, my college provide good support. The infrastructure is poor.

Placements: The placement is quite good. There is 90 to 95 percent placement for CS and ISA students in every college in Bangalore but it is not so for mechanical and civil branch students. Previous year, Cisco offered Rs. 14 lacs for 8 students. The average package was Rs. 4.6 lacs for CS and ISA branches.

A nice college to gain good knowledge.

Placements: There are nice placements in our campus. Computer science branch has better placements than other branches. In the best case, all the candidates eligible for placement get placed. All good companies such as Unisys, Google, Walmart, BookMyShow, Dell, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys and many other companies take the required number of candidates from our campus.

Absolutely waste of life and career, just good in placement if you have good marks.

Placements: Placements are pretty good here. Average package was around 6 LPA for mechanical guys, whereas it went to 12 LPA for CSE students. The lowest package was 3 LPA. Companies like L&T, Oracle, TCS, Bosch and a lot of others visit our college.

A very good college to achieve excellence.

Placements: My senior batch had average placements with 3 out of every 10 students placed in a class of 60. The highest package offered was 8 lakhs per annum and the average package could be 6 lakhs per annum. L&T, GVK, Google, Wipro, Infosys and other Bangalore-based technology companies visited the campus.

Bangalore Institute of Technology is not too good.

Placements: We have the worst ever placements in our college. If you are willing to complete engineering and then work for some multinational companies, then please never join this college. We don't have any hope that we will get placed in any of the companies.

Moderately satisfied because of faculty and good placements, infrastructure can be disappointing.

Placements: The placements are really good. If you opt for CS or EC, you can get packages starting from 5 lakhs to 15 lakhs. Also, mechanical and civil placements are there but don't expect high packages. The companies visiting are Bosch, Toyota, Accenture, Wipro, Mu Sigma, Triveni Turbines, Fidelity Investments, etc. The average package received by a student irrespective of the branch is 3.5 to 5 lakhs. Almost 80% get placed from the campus.

Faculty members are good but the infrastructure is very bad.

Placements: Placements here are not too good. The average package one can get here in my department is 4.5 lakh per annum. There is around 70% placement. The highest package goes up to 7-8 lakh per annum while the lowest was 2 lakh per annum. 60% students got internships. The highest stipend was 40k per annum, lowest was 5k per annum while the average was 8k per annum. Companies like L&T, Robert Bosch, Wipro, Google, and Microsoft come here to recruit.

A good college with lots of opportunities, lots of placements though lacking a campus.

Placements: Placement is the key point of this college. Under VTU, it is ranked number 1. This year, around 80 companies came to our campus with the package varying from 3 LPA to 14 LPA. Almost everyone got placed in CSE, ISE and ECE department, irrespective of the people having many backs. The average salary is around 7 LPA with the lowest being from mass recruiters. Walmart offered the highest at 14 LPA. Google too joined the campus recruitment. From data analyst to software developer then to technical su...

Satisfied in terms of faculty, as the teachers are very helpful, and placement is good.

Placements: All the good companies come to our college like Adobe, Microsoft, TCS, etc. Placement centre in our college heads the children to do some training sessions of Wipro, TCS, Cisco, etc. Overall, it's good. All the companies give a minimum package of 6 lakhs.

If you have ambitions and expectations of your life, a place to avoid.

Placements: The college brings a few decent companies for recruitment but it mostly depends on your marks and your personality to get through the interviews. You must be dynamic. The college gets you at the door but it all depends on you. There is no guarantee to be placed as it depends on each individual's performances.

Good placements and teaching but bad infrastructure

Placements: The CSE department students are generally placed in top companies. Since it's not too easy to get in the college until you have good rank or marks, the quality of students is always appreciated by the companies. Last year, Google recruited students and a few years back, Microsoft also offered placements. The college has got placements from top most IT companies like Akamai, Amazon, Google, etc. The average package is around 7-8 lakhs per annum.

Satisfied with the placement scenario.

Placements: The average package is 3-4 lakhs PA here. Companies like Microsoft have visited the college for campus selections. Overall, the placement scenario here is fine. I am really looking forward to seeing which companies come in the year of my completion. The college claims 90% placements for the engineering students. I am just hoping to get an above average package.

No infrastructure, decent faculty, no hygienic hostel, no canteen, no ground, no good classrooms.

Placements: The placement is very decent here. If you are an average student and maintain the eligibility criteria, then you will surely get placed. You should maintain a minimum of 60% and above if you join this college. Many good companies visit this college every year and recruit many students.

Bangalore Institute of Technology is the best.

Placements: The placements in our college are very good and it is an honour to be in the college because of many companies like Robert Bosch, L&T, Wipro, IBM etc. They also offer us a healthy package with an average package of 5 lakh per annum and the highest package offer was 25 lakh per annum.

Good college with full lab facilities.

Placements: No placements for MTech, but for BTech candidates 75% placements. They recruited in MNCs like VMware, Oracle, TCS, Tata Elxsi, L&T, Ramci, Wipro, and so on. Many companies came to the college to recruit students. The college itself encouraged students to attend some other colleges' recruitment programmes.
