It is a very good college.

Placements: Placements are not good for mechanical engineering students, but our stream students have been selected for the CSR drive conducted by JSpiders, Bangalore. Few students are selected for free IT full-stack developer courses.

It is a better college because of good faculty members, placements and well infrastructure.

Placements: About 50% of the students got internships in recognised companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, etc. They are now going to work in respected companies with better salaries and comfortable jobs. After gaining work experience, they will earn lacks of money and well respect in their life.

The future of Basavakalyan Engineering College.

Placements: The Basavakalyan college provides only drives, which will be helpful to make our course complete. But they will not provide any company interviews. I want to tell students to take admission in colleges that provide placements to companies, but not in colleges that do not give placements.

Satisfied in teaching but totally dissatisfied because of no placements in 2016.

Placements: This college campus has a large silent area. In the college, the teaching is good. The lectures are friendly to discuss the topics. Talking about the recruitment, no companies will come to the college for hiring the students. There is no good management system in this college, and we faced many problems in getting buses. The canteen facility is worse, and there is no south Indian food. During summer, there are no any extra classes for GATE exam.

The lecturers are young. They are un-experienced, and every student cant gets placed.

Placements: We get placements but not in big MNC companies but in small companies which are yet growing. They provide salary between Rs 20,000-30,000 per month. The students who are good in seminars and study, etc., will get good placements with good salary. The companies like Pompei, etc., visit our college.

I participated in the international conference of 2016. 16th annual day function is very fantastic.

Placements: First campus drive is Pompeii from Nagpur, but I was out of the station at the time. The salary packages offered to my friends is Rs. 20,000. The second campus drive was Qspiders training centre where two members were selected. Within a few days, two more companies will come to our college, and I will give my best at that time as I want a job. I have to serve my family. My family members depend on my job.

College is located in Basavakalyan taluka , Bidar district of Karnataka. College is affiliated by VTU. I will strongly not recommend this college to anyone as college doesn't have proper faculty. Neither college have good professors. In the year 2010 (the year when I passed out), the college didn't have basic facility like internet. Being an engineering college with streams like compute science etc this can't be accepted. Teachers/management staffs are were also not supportive. They doesn't ...

Good college with decent placements .

Placements: The package offered is in the range of 70k to 140k for management. LNT recruited students last year from our college.

No proper hostel facility. Lack of practical exposure.

Placements: It is good for academics but no company comes for campus placement. Their training & placement department isn't good enough to place you in any company. You have to study & search for the job outside of campus. Although a number of BPOs come to the campus for hiring.

A College for average life.

Placements: This college is situated in a village area and almost at north Karnataka where there is no communication between IT companies and college administration. And most importantly the administration is not ready to pay sufficient amount for increasing placement quality. And there is no percentage of placements for seniors except they placed them in technical assistance posts.
