Really good infrastructure and calm atmosphere for studies.

Placements: I got placed in campus placements and 28/34 students in my class as well from the college. Our campus placement is 80% and above, and we also have the opportunity to be placed in Indian armed forces through our campus. The top MNCs are coming to our campus for placements, like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Ranbaxy, Sonalika, HMT, etc.

This college is only for time pass and waste of your parents money.

Placements: In this college, no company come, and if come then that company is like call centres or some non-technical work. In this college, the main focus is given to the theory assignments. There is no focus given to practices. Everyone says that they come for the placements, but at the time of placements they do not come.

One of the best college for pursuing mechanical engineering in Punjab.

Placements: My seniors are placed in Metro Tyres, International Tractors Limited, Infosys, PepsiCo. Almost 45% of the students from every branch are placed, and the remaining are settled after their graduation. The lowest salary package offered is 1.12 lacs, and I'm not aware of the highest package.

The college is the good place to study, which has the amazing infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements are good, and is around 60-70% of the people getting placed every year. The college placement cell tries to bring as many companies as they can. The highest salary offered was 4.8 LPA, and the lowest being 1.8 LPA. As our college has tie-ups with the others colleges, so through that some were placed on Amazon and TCS. They were placed as GET and Developer. Swaraj Tractors too visited our college, and around 12 students got placed.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements. None of the companies visited the college for placement for our batch. So, some students tried for themselves, and some of them went for higher studies. Same is the case for internships, as no company visited the college for internships. We did internships by ourselves.

Everything about BCET, Gurdaspur.

Placements: In Beant College of Engineering and Technology, the placement cell is average. The only bad thing it has is its placements. Only a few people in the staff care about the student's placement. The placement is the most important thing in every college, but the BCET do not provide a proper fund. The only thing I hate is the placements in BCET.

One of the top of engineering colleges for the mechanical branch in Punjab.

Placements: Most of our seniors are placed from the college placements. The lowest salary offered is 1.5 lakhs per annum. The Sonalika International Tractor Limited, Hoshiarpur, Emson Gears Ltd., Ludhiana, Metro tyers, Pepsico, etc., come here to hire students from this campus. The competitive exams, technical exams, and personal interview are conducted during the selection process.

The placement rate of mechanical is higher than the other branches

Placements: In the case of civil engineering, the batch is recently started. I am in the first batch of the civil branch of Beant College of Engineering and Technology started in 2016. We really hope that highly reputed companies will be called up for the placement.

Worst college, poor infrastructure, zero placement. Bad faculty though they are intelligent.

Placements: Zero placement. The placement team doesn't come forward or they never put their efforts for the placement of students. The placement team has never called any of the companies. Not even a single company visited our college for placement. The college will not provide you personality classes even. You will waste your money if you opt for this college.

BCET Gurdaspur has various stories about it and is a tremendous institute in Punjab

Placements: The placements in my college are average but overall, it is good. There are various companies that visited my college like Solatire, Infosys, TCS, Videocon, Indian Army and Tech Mahindra. The highest package offered was 9 lakhs per annum by Infosys to the computer science branch. But most of the students of my college took off-campus placements in companies like IBM, Oracle, etc.

Good infrastructure, good college life. Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placements.

Placements: Student placement is almost nill because no ECE company visited the college this year. Last year, our 25% seniors were placed because many companies visited the college. They got an average package of Rs. 2,40,000. The highest package was Rs. 3,60,000 and the lowest package was Rs. 1,80,000.

Below average college located in a backward area.

Placements: Very poor placement record. No MNC or Indian company visited for the placement drives. Even small companies are not visiting due to the backward area. Some of the institutes visit but they are not enough. Placement cell is not willing to invite companies to the company for the job fair.

Good college located in a backward area.

Placements: Very bad placement record. No MNC or Indian companies visit for the drive. Students have to manage at their own level. Some of the small institutes visit for the campus placements but they hire for very less money and thus placement record is very poor.

Dissatisfied from the placement cell.

Placements: The placements are nothing here. Some companies visited, but they all are low-level companies. They only recruit 3-4 students and pay 10-16 thousand per months as salary, and no one got the internship from college and hence, no stipend offered during training. The placement cell was not doing any effort to place the students.

Disappointing placements in 2015.

Placements: From the placement point of view, my college is not so good because this is a government college and the companies prefer private colleges instead of the government ones. However, few companies visit the college like Videocon, Trigent, Eclarx, etc. Few students got placed in Trigent at the package of 4 lakhs per anum. On the other hand, in join campus placement many students got placed in top MNCs like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys etc. Overall, the placement of our college is disappointing. ...

Somewhat dissatisfied with faculty and placements.

Placements: The placement rate was not so high. Only a few companies came for the placement in our batch. In earlier batches, Infosys also used to come., but now, only two-three companies came. Mostly, CSE students were placed and the packages were also not very high at about 2-3 lacs maximum.

Beant College of Engineering - quality life.

Placements: The only area where Beant college lacks behind all other government colleges is in the sector of placements. The placements here are disheartening, there is hardly any student who is placed through campus placement procedure, as companies do not visit the campus for placements. Though last year and this year, 2 companies of information technology visited our campus and hired 4-5 students offering an average salary of 2.5 lakhs. Regarding internships, students are enrolled by their own link and e...

Average in all the aspects.

Placements: Average performance in respect of placements. Many reputed companies visited the college like TCS, Infosys etc. But the number of students selected is very less, hence the rate of placements is very low. The placements are not up to the mark. Students are suggested not to get admission in this college.

This is an average college. All the faculty members are good as well. College fees is very nominal. Campus infrastructure is pretty decent and it provides separate boys and girls hostel. It is a good college as comparison to other private and government colleges in Punjab.

It’s a college with nice and intelligent teaching staff. But its placement officers need to do something in order to get their students placed. Infrastructure is not bad but could be better. Computer labs could have been better. Mechanical and ECE labs are very good.
