The faculty members are too good.
Placements: 90% of students from the CSE branch get placed with an average of 4 LPA, and the highest package is 21 LPA in Wipro, Amazon, TCS, and top IIT companies. Students basically get internships after the 3rd year, in the 5th semester. The mentors are very helpful; they help too much in completing our project and making the best one out of this.
Infrastructure: The faculty members and infrastructure are very good. There is a separate building for the girls' hostel and the boys' hostel. The guards are very well-aware. Wi-Fi, labs with AC and with all the essentials. More than 50 classrooms with AC are provided. The hostels are very safe for girls; there is no need to worry.
Faculty: As I keep on saying, the faculty members are the best, best, and best. You don't need to have a second thought about the faculty members. If you are an average student, then you will also get to understand that the faculty members are like your friends and very supportive.
Other: I wanted to become a software engineer from my childhood. It was my childhood dream, and after clearing the WBJEE with a top-1000 rank, I decided to come to this college because of the very good infrastructure, faculty members, placement, and everything.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 1. There are very less number of students who opt for sitting in placements for BCA course from this college. Generally students prepare either for government exams or they prepare for MCA entrance exam.
2. Salary package offered after this course lies somewhere between 1.4 lacs to 2 lacs per annum.
3. TCS, Wipro, Cognizant basically hires BCA graduates from our college.
4. For the internship Students have to apply off-campus.
Infrastructure: 1. The best part of our college is that it is surrounded by greenery with a calm, quiet, and peaceful environment. The college infrastructure is outstanding with 60 acres of land. Our college provides all the major modern amenities required by the students here. The classroom, library and labs are well maintained. Teachers are very helpful here.
2. Girls hostel is there on campus whereas the boys hostel is 1 km away from the college campus. Hostels here are in average condition, not too good not too bad. There is a large canteen available. Food from mess is served with good portions and they are typically made in Bengali style. Medical facilities are provided free to students within the campus. Equipment for sports is basically in the hostel managed by the students.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are even friendly and help the students in solving their doubts in every possible manner.
2. BCA course prepares students to face the industry. The course curriculum consists of various projects that are given to students to gain industry knowledge.
Other: 1. I pursued this course because of the subjects and the curriculum taught in this course. Mathematics and computer programming both are my favorite subjects and I was very familiar with these topics that will help me to grow my career in the future towards the IT industry.
2. Hope in the future the placement cell of the college will invite many more tech companies for on-campus placement.
3. The events and fests are great here in this college. They invite many great artists who perform and interact with all the students. The campus is beautifully designed. Scholarships are also provided to students.

The most Pathetic Engineering College. Nothing good to be said about the college.
Placements: Placement was really poor in this course as well as in the college, infact it is poor for the last 7-8 years. Hardly any student of my batch or the passing out batch was placed on campus. Among the few placed the salary was around 10-15 K per month and that to in some unregistered companies. The job profile was of BPO and not of Software Developer or web Designer or anything such related to my course.
Infrastructure: The condition of the Infrastructure was also very poor.
1. Labs : were not up to the mark. Most of the desktops were many of the time not working and very outdated in the computer lab. The other labs also had the same condition, be it Electronics or Electrical where the electrical equipments and appliances would hardly function, same goes with the other labs. Most of the times the practical experiments were canceled due to lack of infrastructure.
2. Classrooms : condition was pathetic. Chairs all broken, walls engraved by pens.
3. No proper washroom or drinking facilities in the campus
4. Library : did not have the books that was required in the course
5. Wi-Fi : Campus didn't have Wi-Fi facility though at hostel it was there with good speed.
6. Hostel : It was also in poor condition, which lacked basic amenities. Mess food was not hygienic. No proper medical facilities. No sports and no games.
Faculty: The course is very relevant. It does make the students industry ready. But only if they are taught and trained well, which we didn't get at this college. Most of the teachers here are not at all qualified to teach this course or any other in the college. Their Qualifications as well as knowledge both are not qualified for this course. Although teachers were quite helpful and kind.
Other: I chose this course because it was the first step towards my dream of being a Software developer. The best thing about this course is that you get to learn a complete new subject. You learn to code which in itself is a kind of magic. In today's world of Digitisation and Artificial Intelligence, this course is actually worth learning. In the college there was no Co-Curricular or Extracurricular Activities held. No Events, no Fests ( both Cultural and Technical) were held.
