It is the best college for journalism and mass communication.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran. Our college provides internship opportunities. Top roles offered are news anchor, content writer, scriptwriter, news writer, photographer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, and libraries. All facilities are good. The food served in the mess and canteen is good. They serve food three times a day with some snacks in the evening. Our college has a ground and students can play their favorite games like football, badminton, kabaddi, cricket, hockey, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are good and creative. They help students with every problem. Exams are not difficult to pass. Almost 98% of students pass exams. If you study for internal exams, it will help you in external exams.
Other: I opted for this course because I like to work in print media. Our college organises many events like Rangreza, etc., in September.

It is absolutely a good college for journalism, and studying here is worth it.
Placements: Every year, about 80% of students get placed in reputed companies. The top roles offered in our course are anchoring, reporting, camera handling, event management, public relations, content writing, editing and many more. It is a good platform for students who are interested in journalism. Moreover, the student capacity is 60 per batch, but due to covid, the admission rate has gone down.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are well maintained. We have a variety of labs and studios for journalism. BFIT has a well-maintained library with all the essential needs for students. The canteen and mess facilities are good, and they believe in bekathy diet. There are different mess facilities for veg and non-veg food items. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are very important in our college. It provides students with a better opportunity to look ahead in sports.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and have great experience in journalism. We got a variety of teachers in every field (reporting, anchoring, event management, radio jockey, news anchor, editor, camera handler, system manager and many more qualities). It is not difficult to study journalism, you just have to be attentive to the happenings in the world, nation and society. Journalism is all about practicals. There are many theories of communication, the role of media in democracy, and many more.
Other: It is a full package of a three-year course. I was interested in journalism because it gives us many opportunities to enhance our communication skills, general knowledge, political awareness, social awareness, national and internal awareness.

BFIT Group of Institutions has no complaints.
Placements: Placement and job opportunities in BFIT are very good. They provide placements in local and national companies. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 8 LPA. Students get selected based on interview and before that intellectual test and placement cell make sure that we have enough internship experience along with a profile. In the previous year, many of our seniors got sessions on 'how to give interview' and many other things.
Infrastructure: The canteen on the campus is good, and I like having cheese Maggi and chicken sandwiches.
Faculty: Faculty members of BFIT are highly qualified, experienced and are highly educated. They take a keen interest in making us learn with examples and they plan the course for each day and show us and discuss how we complete the course and when the practicals start. Regular tests are conducted and they make sure that no one is absent on the day of the practical exam without any excuse. The course curriculum is very good, and I have gained a lot of knowledge and interesting things. The exam structure contains a total of 100 marks - 40 marks for end term, 20 marks for the midterm, 2 assignments containing 15 marks each.
Other: Our college provides a good platform for all students to express their talents, and it also provides quality education. I opted for this course because I always wanted to study commerce and support my family. The working hours are from 9:00 to 5:00 so it is very long and I did not require any external help (tuitions). Scholarships are provided to scholars and they have to abide with keep getting good scores in exams and it comes directly from the university. College fest is amazing, that is what I have heard from seniors looking forward to attending one. But other extra curriculum activities are on run frequently.

Labs are very good, photography and software class is the best.
Placements: There is no particular percentage for media masters to attend placements as it is all based on the skills of the students. The salary package offered cannot be generalized as it varies highly. Companies that visit the campus for media are news channels, startups, and advertisement agencies. Companies vary depending on interest, and you are free to suggest any known company to the placement cell to invite. Then they all take the required steps.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good. The building was compact, but it was well built with facilities required to meet courses need. The food provided here is hygienic and has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The hostel facility is also provided by taking care of special needs. The medical facility is also there.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers here can be improved, but it is better compared to other colleges. The course curriculum is good, but you are demanded to have a grip on practical skills. You are required to meet your deadlines on time. They also provide continuous assessments for students, which provide an outlook on their improvement in the course in which they are studying.
Other: Events are organised pretty much, and the scope to learn had made me chose this course and college. I wish that our college should not be that strict in terms of absent. Overall, it is a very nice place to learn, enjoy and grow. Faculty members are really supportive.

Events organised in BFIT are good, and the teachers are nice.
Placements: For this subject, we have to score good marks in school. For the admission procedure, you have to write the entrance exam along with face to face interview. Later you get your result, and once you get selected, you have to pay the fees. The fee is also very feasible, and it is Rs. 45,000 per annum. I always had an interest in studying media and films and know about teamwork behind movies, so I chose this subject. If you attain a good score in school, you can avail scholarships as well.
Infrastructure: Every course has its own block.
Faculty: Faculty members here are nice, and they teach us how to gain and enhance our practical knowledge and how we can apply it as well. They also teach us how to use our sense of writing well in newspapers and different genres. Students can easily understand and better what teachers teach as they use some history videos and a newspaper clipping. Some teachers are very strict about course and attendance. The course structure is planned well, and there are many things like acting, writing script, shooting movies, news and photography. Since this course is all about practical, and the course curriculum is more practical-oriented, which I like the most. The first semester is a bit informative and boring as it includes more how government works constitution and more, which is necessary. This subject makes us study about politics and rules for media journalist.
Other: It is the best college where students can achieve their dream and success if they study according to schedule seriously. You can also enjoy here, and co-curricular activities conducted here are the best. Our college organises great seminars and guest lectures. Apart from that, sports activities were limited. Our college is well immersed in academics, and we have very little time for extracurricular activities. Apart from the annual day celebration and occasional workshops, very little festivals are celebrated here.

Best College for Mass Communication in Dehradun.
Placements: Placement in my college is good. Many of my seniors are now working as content writer in Inshorts, Dainik Jagran and some as a photographers in magazine and newspaper. Many of them are now working on their own, using freelancer application or using their contacts. Some has open their photography firm.
Infrastructure: Facility in this college is nice, I never faced any problem using our labs of photography, or editing. The Wi-Fi connection is adequate to all system. And if any problem arise then IT department come instantly to retrieve. Hostel is good, if someone do not need to use the hostel facility then near the college building itself, there are many PG. Many Good restaurants nearby. Canteen area is the core of any college, but in BFIT it is more, food is good, everyday new variety to eat. If you want chef shall make according to your taste, he will make it for you. And there are both Veg and Non-veg options. Many drink variety is also available. For sports BFIT take extra care, because sports teacher has an agenda that every year, more student should get selected for university or national.
Faculty: The course curriculum and exam structure is pretty much the same as in other National Law Universities. Up to date 25 subject is taught. The acts which are repealed are not taught anymore. There are two exams which take place every semester. One is the mid semester exam which is for 20 marks, the other is the end semester exam which is of 70 marks, the rest of the 10 marks are evaluated in projects.
Other: We have our annual fest that is Rangreza, other than that all the festivals are celebrated in our college and events are held for each and every festival and a lot of other co curricular events are also held for students like a lot of sports events for each kind of sport. Best thing about my course is that, one need not to take pain to study more, all you need is to understand the basics and then give exams, using creative writing. And first semester does feel that it is boring because of Indian Constitution, and many more subjects. But in second semester itself, you will feel the zeal to do more practical. In my course there is more visit to media firms, it should not be limited to visit news agency. Crowd is very lively, one may find something intriguing every other day.
