Q:   Is B.Pharma at Bhagwan Mahavir College of Pharmacy, Bhagwan Mahavir University a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: B.Pharma students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary:

    Pros:
    * Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive (all have Master's degrees in pharmacy, and the Head of Department and Principal have Doctorates)
    * Good infrastructure, including a large and beautiful college building, labs, classrooms, library, sports rooms, and a canteen
    * Opportunities for internships and jobs, although limited (around 20% of students secure internships, and most graduates find employment in the teaching field or marketing research)

    Cons:
    * No training or internship experience provided by the college
    * Limited placement options, with few companies visiting the campus for recruitment drives
    * Average salary packages ranging from INR1.5 LPA to INR2.5 LPA
    * No hostels provided, but accommodation is available off-campus

They are so poor in environment for your mental health .
Placements: There's not any kind of positive environment in this college. The environment in college is so depressing you just give up on studies. They don't even try to motivate you to study; they force you to get this much of a mark and provide specific guides, which they ask in the external exam.
Infrastructure: College is so old, the lab is out of date, and some classrooms don't even have fans. The computers in the computer lab don't work; they don't even have Wi-Fi in college, and the desks used in the lab are very old. They don't provide any kind of specific chair in labs; you need to find tools in the whole college before you go to any laboratory.
Faculty: Faculty members are so motivated to teach the students they don't even try to motivate the students. Sometimes they give the feeling like they are just forcefully teaching students to be able to get paid; sometimes they just sit there and don't even teach, and some days they don't even take attendance if you're present because some other kid has caused niceness in the classroom.
Other: The total environment of this college is so poor you lose your positive mindset and become depressed or lose your self-respect; some staff treat you like some kind of garbage just because they don't like you or they don't want to see your face.

    Teaching quality is average.
Placements: Around 70% of students are placed in this course. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Companies recruiting include Dava India, Zota Pharma, etc. Around 60% - 70% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available for students in our college, but it should be provided for those who need it for study purposes. Labs, classrooms, and library are provided by our college, but labs do not have many facilities. The hostel facilities are not as good as they should be, but they are not bad. The same applies to sports facilities.
Faculty: Teaching quality is average, but some faculty members are good. They are always helpful to all students. They have a pleasant attitude and strong knowledge. Our course is relevant, and it offers great potential for a bright future. The pass percentage is around 80%.

    Review of Bhagwan Mahavir University.

Infrastructure: The facility in the hostel is so good, and the quality of food availability is not good, and the medical facility is very good, and sports and games are very excellent. Infrastructure available for the department includes wifi, classrooms, and libraries. Wi-Fi is not allowed. The classroom and library are excellent, and all books are there.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. All students are industry-ready, and teachers support industry visits. Moderate questions are provided by college in semester, and our average passing percentage is 85%.

I am satisfied because there are good faculty members.
Placements: Our college does not provide many placements. Any company or industry does not visit our college for placements. So, placements are very low in this college compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. Our labs are not good because they are not properly clean and some requirements are not available.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very friendly. In 1 year, 2-semester exams are held. There are 2-semester exams and 2 external exams. Each semester exam is conducted for 40 marks, so the passing marks are 16. External exams are held for 78 marls, so the passing marks are 28. Our teachers are good, very helpful. and knowledgeable.
Other: On this campus, there are no proper celebrations and events.

Examination is very easy to pass.
Placements: Minimum or decent placement and very low packages. According to college, packages are not very good, but the basic pay is like 12 thousand to 15 thousand. Everyone gives us the same package to all of our students of pharmacy.
Infrastructure: The hostel area is very peaceful and very friendly. There is a highly developed area, so no other issues are in this hostel. But food is not very good. Very different castes and religions live in a hostel.
Faculty: Examination is good. Faculty are also good, and Hindi and local languages are used in a lecture. Teachers provide the question bank and important questions for the exam. It is very easy to pass the semester exam; questions are not very difficult and easy to pass their degree in pharmacy.
Other: Every month, 3 to 4 events are organized in the university.

    Bhagwan mahavir college of pharmacy.
Placements: 100% parcent of students were in my college. During 4th year, good colleges arrange campus placement drive for students. Better or more recognised colleges are able to attract MNC companies whose packages start at Rs. 3 Lac PA and go up to Rs. 7Lac at an average. Smaller companies offer Rs. 1.8 Lac onward.
Infrastructure: Libraries are crucial components of any campus. They typically house a vast collection of books, journals, academic publications, and other resources that support academic research and learning. The food served here is quite delicious and nutritious. The meals are appetizing and healthy which ensures the well- being and overall satisfaction of students.
Faculty: A qualified teacher has the knowledge and expertise to teach their students effective. They know how to engage their students in learning and ensure they understand the material being taught. Semester exams can be challenging, as they require a lot of learning, organisation, and memory.
Other: Explanations could be clearer. Activities could be more engaging. Discussions could be more meaningful.
