Placements: Only 5 to 8 % got placed in my branch the highest Salary 10 Lacs CTC and Lowest CTC 3 Lacs Byjus and Jaro Education are the highest recruiting companies Sales Executive the highest 10 Lacs CTC and the lowest 3 lacks CTC Average 3.5 Lacks 5 to 6 percent student only got an internship.
Placements: Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg is an NBA accredited (provisionally) top ranked college in Chhattisgarh. It is ranked in the band of 151-200 by NIRF 2017 and 18. In 2019, 350 students have been placed till now. The various sector from which companies arrive are banking, IT, software based, business and education based etc. Top companies that arrive are TCS, BYJUS, IBM, JARO, Tata Steels etc.
Placements: About 60-65% of students in our course got placed. The salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Roles offered to students were business analyst, software trainee, and BDA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. About 75-80% of third-year students get an internship.
Placements: About 70% of the students got placed in various companies. The salary package offered was ranged between 2.5 LPA to 8 LPA. TCS, Tech Mahindra, General Electronics, were a few companies that hired students of our campus. Software and system engineers were the most popular roles offered. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. About 50% of the students got internships.
Placements: Around 40% of the students were recruited for on-campus selection. In my course, the salary package offered was 3.36 LPA. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd visited our campus for recruitment. Associate system engineer role was offered to the students. Around 1-2% of the students got an internship.
Placements: I am from 2012-2016 batch, and I have pursued B.Tech, electronic and communications. Almost 20 % of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.75 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.35 LPA. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited our campus for placements. System developer role was offered to students. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Almost 30% of students got internsh...
Placements: 20% of the students were placed at the time I passed out of my college and only tcs came in and offered an average salary of 4 Lacs per annum to all the students and the role offered to the students is of assitant software engineer. Internship were done privately by the students.
Placements: Placements are more for computer science students and IT students. Companies visiting the campus are mostly the tech companies, whereas the core branches like electrical, mechanical, civil are left out. This is the reason why in BIT Durg the placement is mostly in the IT and CSE branches. Compared with electrical and electronics branch, our branch consisted of nearly 50-60 students in which only 10-12 got placed, and the rest went with the preparation of GATE. The topmost recruiting firms were I...
Placements: Almost 322 students got placed in the year 2018, and 40 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top companies were Infosys, SAP, IBM, Godrej, HCl, Wipro, etc. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Most of the students got placed in the IT firms.
Placements: For all the students who graduated in Electrical Engineering in 2018, Only two students got selected from a batch of 72 in the only company that visited our campus with an annual package of 2.5 Lacs. There were no internships or other companies visiting for core jobs.
Placements: The average salary was not disclosed that time, but when I was in college, I heard that it was around 3-3.5 LPA, which was clearly truly less. Very few students were getting placed, and most of the students with more than 90% in academics were preparing for postgraduate programs or GATE. Companies that were mostly visiting here were IT inclined companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc.
Placements: The placement scenario of the college was kind of monotonous. The average salary package offered for the batch 2014-18 was nearly 3 LPA. If I talk about our branch (electrical), the number of students was around 70. The mass recruiting company at that time was TCS. There were also other companies like Ambuja, Mahindra, along with some banking sector companies.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Only a few students get placed with a salary package of above 3 LPA. Most of the students get placed with a salary package of below 3 LPA. Placements are mostly provided in IT firms. So unless you want to get into the IT industry, I won't suggest this college. If you want to focus only on studies, then join this college.
Placements: Placements in our college are very poor. Hardly 2-3 companies visited for placements, and that too with poor profiles. Very low-scale companies visited for placements. The highest salary package offered to the students in on-campus placements was around 2.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 1.2 LPA.
Placements: Placements in our college were average as many students did not get placed. It was the same for our seniors as only half of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. As it was an engineering college, we don't need many internships. There is a placement cell. Companies like Capgemini, TCS, Avantha, DigiCall, etc., visited our college for placements.
Placements: Placements were not good. Very few companies visited the campus like TCS, Vedanta. The package was 4 LPA. Very few students opted for placements. There is no provision of internship from the institute. Students have to complete two month industrial training and they have to approach any company for training by themselves. There is a training and placement office which manages the placements.
Placements: Some great companies visited the campus to recruit students. Companies like Vedanta and Tata Consultancy Services visited the campus to recruit students. I got placed in TCS. The college is the best in Chhattisgarh for placements after NIT Raipur. The compensation offered is decent, TCS offered a salary package of 3.5 LPA whereas Vedanta offered a salary package of 6 LPA. The role offered was an assistant engineer in both cases.
