College is not that bad. You can do well if you work hard yourself.

Placements: The placement is quite average, and the highest package is seen among CS/IT students, and the average package for overall branches combined is 4-6 Lacs, where the highest package offered to CSE branch students was 12 LPA, yet the 30% placement rate is average among all branches.

BIT Durg - an autonomous college of CG .

Placements: Poor placement for branches other than computer science and information technology. The average package for other branches is about 3–4 lacs, while for the CS/IT branches, it is 5–6 lacs, and the highest package was about 11 lacs last year from the IT branch.

BIT Durg: decent private college for B.Tech students.

Placements: Decent college placement with an average package that varies from 4-5 lacs; the placement and package are higher among IT/CS students; the highest package ranges from 9–12 LPA; and okayish placement for other branches; the college welcomes campus placement with companies such as TCS, Cognizant and many more .

It is a decent college with average placements.

Placements: Very few students are placed because of layoffs. The top recruiting company is TCS, as it takes people in bulk. The highest salary package offered is mostly 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Most people achieve very high salary packages in off-campus placements. They get placed in companies like Google, etc. Overall, it is one of the best colleges in CG.

Bhilai Institute of Technology is good for B.Tech in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: Before the 8th semester, the campus placements take place. After graduating from college, you can have options of higher studies. The college faculty will support you with your plans of pursuing M.Tech by qualifying the GATE exam. The college does not provide any internship programs. If you wish to do, then you have to do it on your own, either online or from outside sources. The college allows students to go for training across the country. As a part of the final year, you came across minor and...

At the end of the day you have to improve your skills on your own.

Placements: Placement is not good in this college All companies which came here for placement are IT companies which offer package of 3-4 Lacs annually that too in big cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad you live in small room with 3-4 others that means you have to struggle a lot.

BIT Durg is the college for hustlers.

Placements: At Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT DURG), placements are like other colleges. Any branch student is eligible for placements. The placement is only available for CSE branch with an average salary package of 3 LPA - 4 LPA. There is nothing special. The college provides placements in a good way.

Overall, the college and campus are good.

Placements: Around 30% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., visit our college to hire students from our course. Around 30% of students from our course got an internship. The top roles offered in our courses are data scientists, software developers, etc.

I am not satisfied because of its faculty members.

Placements: The placements are getting worse as students, do not appear for interviews most of the students opt for higher studies, and prepare for GATE. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA for 2 students. Top recruiters are TCS which does mass recruitment and the minimum salary package offered is 3.2 LPA.

It is a good college, and it is still not recommended.

Placements: Placements are very good here. Up to 60% of students get placed every year from here, while the rest of the students opt for higher education. Many companies recruit students from here like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered are IT professionals. Unfortunately, core placements are poor here.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Almost 20% of students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered in our course ranges from 6-7 LPA. TCS is one of the most recruiting companies that visit our college for our course as well as other courses also. The top roles offered in our courses are telecommunication engineer and circuit designer.

The highest salary package grabbed by students is 30 LPA and around 12 LPA-15 LPA in on-campus.

Placements: The placements are not very good here. You can get a salary package of around 4 LPA to 6.5 LPA, which is as per the stats of the 2021 batch. The highest salary package offered in our college in off-campus placements is 30 LPA and around 10 LPA to 13 LPA in on-campus placements. One good thing about placements is now the college has started approaching good companies, but the condition is students are not capable enough to qualify for those companies. So on-campus placements are decreasing, and n...

Our college was good for education but not for the fee structure and the management system.

Placements: When we were in college, we hardly got 5-6 companies for placements. The college has shown many companies in its portfolio, but the reality is only 5-6 companies came. Campus placements are not that good. If you take admission into this college, then you have to do hard work for job placements.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: Placements in civil engineering are good enough. But the percentage of students qualifying in GATE exam and getting admission in good IITs and NITs is high. This proves the quality of education provided in our college. Placements in other departments like CSE and EE are more than 60%, and also a lot of students opted for higher education like MBA, M.Tech, etc.

Overall, I had a below-average experience.

Placements: Placement opportunities need to improve in our batch, and the students had to look for opportunities in isolation. Our college does not provide internship support, and we had to search externally for the mandatory completion of the internship stints. Our batch was constituted with some of the brightest minds who are doing amazingly well in their career, and they changed their career or went for PG. Placements in our college were below par considering the cadre and calibre of the students.

Infrastructure is good, but not the best. It is situated close to the bus stand and railway station.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. Only one core company visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting company visit our campus for placements is Byju's. None of them got an internship at the college. A role offered was a maintenance engineer by Tata Steel.

The college is good for taking degree only. Course curriculum only teaches you to mug up things

Placements: Not more than 10% students are getting placed. The highest package is not more than 7 LPA, the lowest 2.5 LPA, average 3.5 LPA. TCS, Jaro, Capgemini are top recruitment companies. No one got internship in any company. Sales Analyst, Marketing Head are top roles offered.

It is a decent college, but the course curriculum is outdated.

Placements: Out of 600 students in our department, 200 students were qualified to sit for the placements, and around 60 people got placed. The highest salary offered was 1.2 lacs per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 16,000 per month. Companies like SAP Labs, Capgemini and Analytics Quotient are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered with roles like data analyst, data scientist and java developer. Choose this college if you want to crack GATE exam and if you don't get admission in GEC.

Placements: Byju's and TCS companies don't offer high salary packages.
