A college with a good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The placements of the college are good. You may try your best to get the opportunity. Companies will be visiting in the final year only. The companies will be offering you packages between 2.4-3.2 LPA. So, don't worry and study hard. The environment of students is also good.
Infrastructure: The college provides a Wi-Fi facility. The labs are equipped with AC. The classrooms are big. The library is air-conditioned. Medical facilities are available in the college. The college encourages sports and NCC. Labs and classrooms are so good as it is a college of the 90s. The food offered in the canteen is not up to the mark, but as it is subsidised food, what can we expect. The hostel rooms are as good as a new one.
Faculty: Only a few permanent faculty members are available in the college, but PTGF are many. The quality of education is good. From 2016, the quality of education has decreased. The knowledge of PTGF is rated as 8 out of 10. The teaching quality is rated as 7 out of 10. The teaching method is rated as 7 out of 10. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. The course curriculum is good.

College is very good. But environment is not good as that.
Placements: Now the times placement is not so good. As a final year student I have only attended 2 campuses having lower salary I. e. 9,000 p. MAT most 20 to 40 students are placed this year. But last year it was up to 60-70%. After all there is low placement and 98% officers and staffs are corrupted.
Infrastructure: College is Wi-Fi campus, but only for officers, teachers and staffs not for students. All departments have classrooms and labs of good quality. Only 1 ambulance is in automobile department but hadn't used till. College have garden for students but it's GATE is locked.
Faculty: All departments have sufficient faculty members but not all are eligible for respective posts. All don't know their duties. I am just regreting for studying in this institution. All officers want to take money from students. Some money arena't given to students which they should get.

Top class faculty, good college management, great placement (2017). I strongly recommend.
Placements: Till our seniors batch, the placements were not so good, but our batch was greatly benefited. Many companies like Tata Refractories Limited, Mahindra and Mahindra, John Deer, L&T, Subros Air Conditioning, JTEKT Sona, Jindal Steel, Anand Groups and many other companies came and took students, and now they are well settled.
Infrastructure: It is a very old college, so we have a lot of space, and regular maintenance of the college is done. The infrastructure of the college includes a library, workshop, gym, playground, separate gents and ladies hostel, TV and paper room. It also has a room for indoor games like chess, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: The faculty were just excellent. A great combination of both young and experienced teachers is there, especially for mechanical branch. They used smart classes to teach us. Moreover, the practical implementation of the theory we read was shown by the respected subject teachers. Unlike other colleges, here the teachers give stress on clearing the fundamentals instead of running after grades.
Other: Events include annual function, farewell and welcome ceremony, Ganesh puja, Saraswati puja, Viswakarma puja, etc. It is situated nearby SCB Government Medical College, Cuttack, so very good commutation facility is available here.

Excellent place to pursue a diploma in engineering. Good infrastructure on the bank of Mahanadi.
Placements: First of all, it is an engineering school but not a college, and it offers diploma course in various disciplines. I was joined to this school in 2010 under mechanical engineering after my 10th standard. As it is first engineering institution of Odisha, it has a good name and fame. The placement record is better at this college. In our final year, 2013, more than 50%(approximately) got placed. In mechanical engineering, the highest package was 3 lakhs per annum offered by Tata Steel and Jindal Steel. There were many private companies came and offered the salary ranging from 2 - 2.5 lakhs per annum, and same to the seniors as well. As it is a government engineering school, the fee was Rs. 5,500 at the time for general category and even less for other. After that, the governments offer scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- for SC, ST and some general student whose parents income below 1 lakh per annum. Maximum students after the 10th standard in our time myself and maximum students preferred to go for higher study for B.Tech through Odisha JEE. So, approximately after the examinations, no one sat ideal, and everyone got engagement somewhere. Now, some of my friends are in a good position and serving the nation.
Infrastructure: In our time 2010 - 13, there was no Wi-Fi, but all other facilities were there. As it is a prominent institution of the government of Odisha, there are all other facilities. The laboratory is quite an old style as it is an old institute, but it has a very big laboratory with all facility. All engineering workshop also very good. There are a very big mechanical engineering workshop and labs containing big turbines, pumps, and boilers. The machines were of the old style, but in our last year, it got replaced with new and modern machines. The library (not central lib at that time) and medical facilities are available. There is a big green playground inside it and maintained by local cricket club. It has its cricket and football team. All facility was available for the indoor and outdoor game provided. The classroom quality is very good, some are of old university style, and some are newly constructed. There was two canteen for lunch and dinner with average food quality and other tea and tiffin shop inside the campus. The hostel is best. Four students in a room from two different branch with Rs. 2,500 per annum. Very good room but in the first year of our time in one room, there were 6 to 7 students stayed. The hostel environment is best, and all the facilities are available on the campus. The college has a green environment, and it is a beautiful place with a small park on the campus.
Faculty: As like all other government educational institute, there is some problem with quality and quantity of faculty. In our time, maximum faculty were on the contractual basis and had not a good subject knowledge, and the permanent faculty were busy with there own institute work. Maximum classes were taken by contractual faculty. In our branch, we had a very good HOD sir who had very good control, so we never face a deficiency of faculty, but there was some quality issue. Teacher to student ratio was below 1:40(approximately). We got industry explore. Overall, the course curriculum was helpful to the students.
Other: An old and nice engineering institute at old city in Cuttack. Very good calm study environments are present in inside and outside of the campus on the bank of river Mahanadi. All necessary facilities are available for overall developments of your career and future. The enjoyable and friendly campus is present here.

One of the best college in Odisha.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed. The minimum package is 1.5 LPA and the maximum package is 2.7 LPA. JINDAL, TATA STEEL, WIPRO are the top recruiting companies. 50-60% of students got internships in these companies.
Infrastructure: The whole college has Wi-Fi. There are well maintained classrooms. There are labs and library. There are 2 gents hostel and 3 ladies hostel with in the campus. Each hostel has a separate canteen. They serve the best hygienic food. It is nearby Odisha's largest hospital SCBMCH so proper medical facilities are there. There is a huge ground for playing various sports.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and graduates from IIT and NIT.
Other: There is Prerana scholarship and NSF scholarships. There is no ragging on the campus.

Want to ruin your life- Join BOSE.
Placements: Placement is not so good. The college doesn’t promise any kind of placement. They just take their own people and do ask for money. All are forced to say good about the college. Someone should take strict action against the college. All the time, students sit for strikes. Overall, students suffer a lot.
Infrastructure: Very poor infrastructure. Classrooms and labs are in very bad condition. Medical facility is not available.
Copying and cheating is done during examination. Teachers take money to allow cheating in the exam hall. Teachers here suggest to go for their private classes and don't teach in the classes. Canteen is not there. Food available is very unhygienic.
Faculty: Not qualified faculty, teaching method is very poor and they do not help students. They just do their own things after taking the attendance. They just give notes without explaining anything. Should take things into consideration and make faculty. All are here for money only.
Other: No extracurricular activities done. Campus, events, fests, nothing is done in this college.
