Review of Bishop Heber College.
Placements: College provides placement from various top companies, such as Deloitte, Zoho, Accenture, and many more, and also provides courses to get placed and improve our soft skills . They analyze and then give us the jobs . They inspire us to attend the interviews and also guide us.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is the hostel's best feature, and the courses are quite good. Sometimes hostel food may be an exception but otherwise that is good. They can improve the hostel facilities, otherwise good. I stayed in PG in the surrounding area of college, which was better.
Faculty: Faculties are the best supporters for the students they guide, and also with a friendly manner, they not only focus on academics as well as on real life. Discipline and speech are maintained well in the college, which makes us more responsible and good people.
Other: I chose this course to focus more on practicals such as Tally, GST, Excel, etc.

B.Com. in Computer Applications - Batch of 2026

Review of BCom CA in Bishop Heber College.
Placements: Many students, about 75–80%, are placed in my course. Many top recruiting companies, including TCS, etc., are recruiting students from my course and many other courses in my college. All students got paid internships within the college and also outside the college if we took initiative.
Infrastructure: The WI-FI, labs and classroom facilities are top-notch and most comfortable. The library's facilities and it's infrastructure are very much appreciated; they're very useful for students. The hostel facilities are available for many students, and the food available in the mess and canteen is hygienic.
Faculty: The faculties are friendly and approachable when needed. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not at all bad. The semester exams are conducted twice a year and internals and practicals are also conducted. The pass percentage is 30/100 and it is easily obtained through internals.

Better Infrastructure.
Placements: 83.15% of the students are placed in my college which is roughly around 1456 students. The packaged offered in this course range between 440000 to 13000. Wipro, MNC and Teachnook are some of companies that I've been contacted by this year. Mostly 59% students get internships but they are more like a course that we have to pay for. Most of the internship companies are Wipro and MNCs. Software engineer, IT manager, HR and others are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The lab and classrooms in the college are good. The library is really amazing with lots and lots of books with enough space. The hostel is worse for both the girls and the boys, especially for girls, as it is hard to get even a single leave letter for going home. The food is very bad.
Faculty: Half of the professors are qualified while the other half cannot even talk in English without making grammatical mistakes. So the teachers are good but they could have been a lot better if they were more qualified. The course does make the students industry ready. 40% is the passing percentage, the exams are tough.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a programmer. I wish they hire someone with more knowledge and who is also fun.

Review of Bioinformatics in Bishop Heber college.
Placements: Approximately 70 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package might be 200000-400000 and the lowest package might be 30000-50000 and many top recruiting companies are recruiting students from my course. All students got paid internships within college and outside college also.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course or department are top-notch. The wifi facilities, lab facilities and library facilities are so much better than surrounding colleges. The quality of facilities in the hostel is somewhat okay.
Faculty: The faculties are helpful and friendly with us. They are so qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are conducted very strictly and recently. But we can get passed by 30 percent.

Computer science course review.
Placements: There is an acceptable amount of students placed in my course, and the recruiting companies are good. There are separate classes for boys and girls in my course. About 10 percent of students got internships in top companies, with many roles including IT and companies related to the computer field offered.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, but the hostel is somewhat okay, not so good. The college is surrounded by good environmental conditions. However, in the hostel, there is not much free environment and many restrictions, which apply only to girls. The mess food is bad, not like it was in previous years. Medical facilities and games are poor.
Faculty: Exams are strictly conducted, but the syllabus is not covered ahead of time; it is only covered on time. However, the lab and other facilities are top-notch, unlike other government or private colleges. The infrastructure is very good, and the faculties are helpful and qualified.
Other: I want to mention that there are many events, but the fests are not so good. The campus crowd is larger, and scholarships are limited. Extracurricular activities are somewhat okay.

Absolutely satisfying college.
Placements: In my course, 75% of students have been placed. The salary package is 12 lakhs per annum. Companies like Infosys and Wipro are the top multinational companies recruiting from my course. Additionally, 75% of students from my college have secured internships, and the top roles offered in my course are project manager positions.
Infrastructure: We have facilities like Wi-Fi, library, lab, and symposium. The projects include Wi-Fi, lab, classrooms, library, and a good environment. The infrastructure available in my college includes an auditorium, a multi-purpose area, a playground, the Golden Jubilee building, a PG block, and the principal's room. Overall, we have nice infrastructure.
Faculty: Semesters are very challenging in this college and course. The teachers are helpful to me. The teaching quality is good, and the courses in the curriculum are relevant and prepare students for the industry. The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.
Other: Nice college for education, offering scholarships and part-time jobs.
