April 7, 2023: The modern business school in Mumbai, BITSoM, has released the results of its first-year placements for its MBA 2021-23 founding class. The average CTC was Rs 23.85 lakh per year, and the maximum CTC was Rs 50.10 lakh. Students were offered positions in desirable positions across industries by top companies. Students who had previously worked full-time and reported last-drawn wages of an average of Rs 7.34 lakhs were placed with average post-MBA CTCs of Rs 20.81 lakhs annually. The top 10 percent of the class were placed with an average CTC of Rs 37.02 lakh per annum. The average for the top 30 percent is Rs 30.42 lakh, and the top half of the class has an average CTC of Rs 28.17 lakh. The median CTC is Rs 23 lakh. The statistics include 37 students who accepted pre-placement offers.
Prominent businesses in a range of industries, including general management, consulting, sales and marketing, product management & technology, and finance, made offers in response to the placements. Top-tier consulting companies were hired during the placement process, including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Co., Kearney, Arthur D Little, Praxis Consulting, EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte India, and MXV Consulting. All of the employment available at consulting businesses are in transactions and M&A, management consulting, IT consulting, or human capital consulting. Famous BFSI companies including JP Morgan Chase (investment banking), Cervin Ventures, Eight Capital (private equity), Aditya Birla Capital, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Yes Bank etc.
Organisations that made offers for their flagship management trainee programmes include Hindustan Unilever, Pidilite, Aditya Birla Group, Vodafone Idea. Furthermore, employers such as Signify, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Eureka Forbes, BP, Arcelor Mittal, CISCO, Bosch, Tiivra, and HT Media, also recruited students across functions. The B-school drew some new-age and tech companies like FanPlay IOT, Freyr Solutions, Zapcom, Accenture, HSBC Technology, Wolters Kluwer, and More Retail for roles in Product Management and Technology.

BITSoM’s Founding Class Achieves 100% Placement For Summer Internships
January 4, 2022: BITS School of Management (BITSoM) reported today that its inaugural class has received 100% summer placement, with students being chosen by several of the country's biggest corporations.
Coveted names among B-School recruiters made offers to students of BITSoM, including Bain & Co, Kearney, Arthur D Little, Deloitte, PwC, E, Korn Ferry (Hay Group), Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consumer, Beiersdorf (Nivea), Pidilite, Hershey, Aditya Birla Group, Cisco, Tata Capital, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Cervin Ventures (a Silicon Valley-based VC fund) and ICICI Prudential AMC among others.
During the summer internship process, 50 corporates made offers. From April to May 2022, the students will begin internships with their respective organisations.
With the entire group placed, the average stipend for the two-month internship is INR 1,61,610. The top 10% of accepted offers have an average stipend of INR 3,01,538 for two months, and the top 30% have an average stipend of INR 2,61,712 for two months. The top half of the class receives an average salary of INR 2,29,280 for two months.

BITSoM Announces Opening Of Admissions For The Second Batch; Last Date To Apply Is November 21
September 24, 2021: BITS School of Management, BITSoM, BITS Pilani's Mumbai-based business school, has announced the dates for its two-year full-time residential MBA programme, which will begin in July 2022. The application process is entirely online, and applications will be accepted starting September 23, 2021. The deadline for submitting applications for this round is November 21, 2021.
The school strives to have a varied student body, not only in terms of gender, but also in terms of academic background, professional experience, and hobbies. It is based on a comprehensive and all-encompassing assessment of candidates that includes:
- Standardised Test scores for CAT, GMAT or GRE, any one score is required
- Academic excellence at undergraduate and school level
- Extra-curricular and co-curricular achievements
- Leadership potential and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work experience is not mandatory, and BITSoM encourages fresh graduates to apply in addition to candidates with work experience

Bitsom Commences Academic Session For Founding Class Of 140, 35% Being Women
July 13, 2021: The two-year residential MBA degree programme at the BITS School of Management (BITSoM), a Mumbai-based new-age management school, began its first academic session on July 5 with a founding class of 140 students, 35 per cent of whom are women.
The IITs, BITS Pilani, St Xavier's College, Mumbai, Jesus & Mary College, Indraprastha College, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Jadavpur University, NIFT, University of Warwick, UK, New York University at Abu Dhabi, Purdue University, USA, and McGill University, Canada are among the top Indian and international undergraduate colleges representing in the class.
Academics, CAT/GMAT/GRE scores, extracurricular achievements, and a personal interview were the factors used to select the individuals. Fifty percent of the class has two or more years of experience working for major firms like Amazon, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Morgan Stanley, TCS, and ZS Associates across a variety of industries.
The students in the Founding class are well-rounded individuals who have achieved success outside of the classroom. Few have achieved success at a higher level, with jobs ranging from screenplay and production manager for a film that was featured in an International Film Festival to founding their own online mobile accessory start-up and authoring books. There is also a swimmer in the group who has won four international medals so far.
McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Co., Hindustan Unilever, Pidilite, Swiggy, Udaan, and the Aditya Birla Group have already expressed great interest in summer internships and/or final placements for BITSoM students.

The introductory workshops on self-development will be led by Prof. Leena Chatterjee, head of the Department of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources. Each BITSoM student will have a self-development plan, which will be the first step on their path to become a leader at BITSoM. During the week, Prof Raj Raghunathan, a member of the BITSoM Governing Council and a Professor of Business at the University of Texas at Austin will hold a session for students and their families.
