External student's review on BMCC.
Placements: I don't know about the percentage, but in my college, around 150-200 students got admission, and I'm an external student/open learning student. For me, the rate was around 8,000 (external student fee) for the whole year (1st year). None. The top roles offered are CA.
Infrastructure: I am an external student, so I don't know much, but I've seen that my college provides a library, Wi-Fi, not very clean classrooms, but they are in good condition, and canteens are good too. I haven't been to the hostel, but it might be pretty good, I am guessing.
Faculty: The teaching for me was done online, and teachers were very good with teaching. In exams, they weren't too strict, and they helped us with any doubts we had. My course is about finance, so, yes, it is pretty relevant. They are pretty easy if you know about businesses.
Other: I just wanted a degree, that's why I took this course, but there are many opportunities in B.Com if you look at it. The classrooms and bathrooms would have been better. I haven't been to any events, so no comment.

Best college in Pune for B.Com.
Placements: BMCC has a good placement record for BCom students, with around 60–70% getting placed through the college's placement cell. The highest salary package offered this year was around Rs. 9 lakhs, and the average package was Rs. 4-6 lakhs. To be considered for internships after our second year, we must register with the placement cell. When internship opportunities arise, we will be notified and can apply. If selected, we will be able to participate in the internship.
Infrastructure: BMCC has old infrastructure buildings, but the classrooms have smart boards and are well ventilated. Students have wifi access throughout the campus, and there is a library with a huge reading hall and a computer lab for student use. BMCC also has a hostel, which is compulsory for non-residents of Pune in their first year.
Faculty: BMCC is an autonomous college, so they design their own syllabus under SPPU guidelines. They have designed a very good and useful curriculum. If we attend lectures, it won't be difficult to understand the material. The teachers are very helpful and cooperative.
Other: BMCC has a diverse student body, with students from all walks of life. There are a lot of extracurricular activities, including clubs like NCC, NSS, Nature Club, and Finance Club. The college also organizes a lot of intra- and inter-college competitions, such as Moot Court, MUN, debates, and sports. In addition, the college organizes a variety of events, such as Astitva and Troika.

Good infrastructure, average faculty, not too good placements, and less events.
Placements: Nearly 200 students were placed in BBA.
Not sure about rest because I am in my 2nd year.
There are many internships by well-known companies but you have to work for them without expecting any returns from any company. I think 10 to 15% of students who were toppers got their internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good, such as classrooms are very fresh and mild, labs are also good, there is no availability of Wi-Fi as such, and there is no network when you attend lectures in classrooms, or hall or any lab. I must say the canteen is the worst you have ever seen. The food is okay. Ambience is the worst. No sitting place for more than 15-20 students.
Faculty: Some teachers are too good, especially Pathak Sir, who is very helpful and friendly. Some subjects might feel out of field but overall good subjects. Exams are really tough if you don't study like me; you have to study at least 2-4 days per subject. Exams are also conducted very strictly. Yes, attendance is compulsory.
Other: Teachers would upgrade there teaching as new generation students are not that capable of grasping things easily. They need time and some attention. Events are also okay. There are only 2 events in the whole year.

Sports and BCC are on top, with trials happening every month for all sports, mainly football.
Placements:
From the middle of the semester, three companies start coming to campus for placements. Companies that visited include BlackRock, which hired 45 students for four profiles, and Deloitte US, which hired 38 students for two profiles as per last year, among many others. The highest package was offered by BlackRock, which was 22.5 LPA for the RQA profile. Almost 98% of students got placements. My plan after getting the degree is to work in a good MNC.
Infrastructure: My overall campus experience was good as the infrastructure of the college is solid. There is a canteen, grounds, places to sit and chill, and various clubs to join, like Nature, Football, NCC, and many more. The best spot is the Mother Tree near the canteen, where you can sit and enjoy.
Faculty: The faculty count is high, so I can't provide an exact number, but they are highly qualified and have good experience in their fields. Some faculty members are adjunct faculty. In semester 1, we have Cumulative Assessment 1 (10 marks), Cumulative Assessment 2 (10 marks), Mid Semester (20 marks), Cumulative Assessment 3 (10 marks), Cumulative Assessment 4 (10 marks), and End Semester Exam (40 marks). Semester 2 follows the same structure. We also have a mandatory summer internship program of 14 weeks, which is evaluated by both the company guide and faculty guide, followed by a final presentation. After that, in semesters 3 and 4, we choose specializations as domains and are evaluated accordingly.

Infrastructure and facility are very good.
Placements: In BMCC, many companies offer internships. Top roles are offered based on your marks and eligibility. BMCC is a well-known and reputable institution, known as Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, BMCC provides Wi-Fi for students, has well-equipped labs, and boasts a large library. The mess food is good, although the mess space is somewhat limited. The gym is available, and the canteen offers quality food. The college also has a large ground for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. About 85% to 90% of the staff hold Ph.D. degrees. The semester exams are not difficult or hard. The staff is supportive and helpful.
Other: I chose B.Com from Business Administration because the college also provides scholarships to backward and handicapped students.

Review of Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune.
Placements: The college offers various placements in companies like Zomato, Reliance Retail, Deloitte, etc. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA-5 LPA and the highest salary package offered in 2023 was 12 LPA. Students secured plenty of internships. B.Com course has 600 seats, and admission depends upon the merit list.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college building is made of old age stone and it's surrounded by trees and there's a lot of greenery in the area. The quality of food in canteen is average, and our college provides a lot of facilities to students like library and free Wi-Fi. Gymkhana is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and well-qualified. They provide quality education. B.Com degree has 2 semesters and the difficult level is very high of the exam. Pass percentage is average. The important thing to keep in mind is the college starts at 07:30 AM for B.com students.
