Our college management needs to be improved considerably.

Placements: Students got placements for some of the non-technical jobs also. Our college adds students in their training and placement Gmail group through which they inform them about various vacancies available for jobs in different companies. Companies like Essar, Chola Insurance, Ashok Leyland, Thermax and Jaro Education have visited our campus previously for placements. Ashok Leyland offered the role of generation trainee. There is no limit for the salary packages offered for perfect students according ...

Review of C.K Pithawalla College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Top recruiting companies visited our campus at our time are Essar, Chola Insurance, Ashok Leyland, Thermax and Jaro Education. Ashok Leyland offered the role of generation trainee. Everything that you need to do is start preparing for the government job, GATE or abroad. I don't think that you will get a job immediately after completion of the course. But don't worry, you will get too many opportunities after completion of this course.

The administration still needs to be improved in our college.

Placements: Students got placements in some of the non-technical jobs also. Our college adds students in their training & placement G-mail group through which they inform them about various vacancies available for jobs in different companies. The top recruiting companies for mechanical engineering in Surat are Larsen & Toubro, Essar, Reliance, Oil & Natural Gas Commission, Kribhco, etc. The top roles offered are production engineer, quality control engineer, thermal plant-related jobs and managerial roles. ...

If anyone wants enjoyment and lives college life, then it provides the best opportunities.

Placements: There are no placements at the end of my completion of BE civil. The building is under construction. There are staff members for every branch. The college is law demanded. The campus needs improvements so that it increases the technical environment in the college. The campus increases some facilities.

Dissatisfied with the poor infrastructure and placements.

Placements: I mentioned that I passed out in the year 2017, but in this year, there are no placements happened in my college. According to the previous record, rarely 2 to 3 students were placed. The salary offered ranges from 10 to 15K per month. The companies like L&T, Essar, Reliance have visited the campus last time. Well, more than half of the students opt for the internship by itself, not from the college. I cant say about the stipend because it varies from the industries. I don't think that there is ...

Absolutely dissatisfied with the facilities, good labs, bad placements.

Placements: There are placements of a maximum of 2-3 students and a minimum of no placements in the computer branch. For other branches, there is no placement in the college. Last year, only 2 students were placed and their salary was 9 thousand and that was for training only. The students were offered a minimum stipend of 4000 and the maximum was 7000.

Dissatisfied with infrastructure, facilities and placements but faculty are good.

Placements: The placement is not very good. The college had made a Google mail group for all students and inform them whenever various company arrive. Only three or four students have got the placement and average salary offered was 3.6 lacs per year. The placement department is very lazy and they are not giving efforts for placement.

Review on CK Pithawalla Institute Of Management, Surat.

Placements: To be frank, the placement is not that good but you may find same conditions in most of the colleges in Gujarat. For better placement, opt for IIT or NITs. Other than that, it is hardly possible to get a job of 2-4 LPA just after BTech. There are some students who have jobs outside the campus but as far as placements are concerned, the college lacks behind.

Good and qualified faculties but students have to be more enthusiast

Placements: Placement data is below average for 2015 Mechanical batch. For summer internship except giving NOC, no proper effort is made by the placement cell. Merchant Navy Institute Alpha 9 marine had visited and asked money for getting training for 12 to 18 months. One patent referring company was there with 1 or 2 years of bond and giving salary of 10 to 12 thousands. After completion of education, Bridgestone tire was there who was there to hire for service engineer. Job was to check whether tire is el...

Our college has good faculty and they talk with us like a friend. Teaching and behaviour of faculty members are good. Some faculty members are not teaching well but average is good. Equipment and machine for experiment are available in good conditions. The campus doesn't look nice and didn't have good facilities. There is no hostel and good canteen in the campus. The area at which the college is situated feels like we are living in jungle. The college is situated far away from the city side. So, i...

The faculty of the college is good as well as experienced. I would suggest everyone to pursue mechanical engineering from this college but the placements are zero in mechanical field. Infrastructure and basic facilities are average. The college does not provide hostel facility.

You are not going to get a placement opportunity here but you can get quality education. It will give a degree certificate after 4 years which is of no use to get a nice placement and, for that matter, this is applied to every college that comes under GTU. If you wish to get a better placement in future I advise you to ignore GTU and try somewhere else. Do a detailed study of any college before taking admission in it.

Pros: The College includes supportive and talented-Head of the mechanical department, well trained staff, lab equipment working (95%), Internet facility, huge area, sports facilities, no extra fees or deposit, activity-Clubs and helping non-technical staff. Cons: The only drawback is random electricity cuts, water shortage and not so good infrastructure.

All staff members have great knowledge except for some professors.

Placements: I think around 80% to 85% of the students got placed from this course. I heard that the salary package of more than 9.5 LPA was offered by Byju's. Reliance, TCS, L&T, Wipro, Infosys, etc., are the top recruiters for this course. I don't know about internships, and I think we can find good internships on our own.
