Best college to study medicine. Lots of patient interactions. Best college fests.
Placements: Basically, there are 2 types of UG courses offered in this college: MBBS and B.Sc. Nursing. And PG courses for MD and MS and super specialty courses like DM and MCH. In case you're an MBBS doctor, your 1-year service can be secured in the college after completion of your degree if you're among the top 100 among 250 students. After that there are lots and lots of private nursing homes offering a handsome salary to take you as RMO.
Infrastructure: There are 2 separate building areas, one for academics and another for patients. The academic building is well oriented, clean and all. But the hospital building is a little chaotic and problematic. The hospitals in all areas are away from each other so they seem to be a small campus but it is quite big. For girls, there is an adequate amount of hostel without any fees. But for boys, there are limited seats so it depends on the family income and distance of the student's residence from college.
Faculty: The facilities are the prominent doctors in each subject from different parts of Bengal. Best doctors only manage to be professors, so no need to be tense about any faculty. Curriculum is followed as the national medical council. Exams are taken from the West Bengal Health University as per the notice of NMC.
Other: This college has a history of 100 years. Lots of prominent faculty members are there. This college has the best freshers program, the best reunion program and, the most important, the biggest M.Ed. fest in Eastern and probably the biggest M.Ed. fest overall—AGON. The senior-junior combination is very good. Ragging free and full of enjoyment.

Perks of Studying at Calcutta National Medical College .
Placements: I'm still a first-year student, so I wouldn't be the best one to comment on the placement situation at our college on a first-hand basis. I've heard of instances from my seniors, and CNMC&H is undoubtedly one of the finest medical colleges to choose from in West Bengal.
Infrastructure: The lecture halls are extremely spacious, with a sloping seating arrangement that makes it easier for students to have a clear vision of the board. The classrooms are clean and well-ventilated. We have a few libraries within the college campus itself, with every possible book at our disposal. I haven't taken a hostel yet, so I won't be able to comment on the hostel facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and more than qualified. They are amicable and helpful, always ready to guide us, no matter the time or place. The course curriculum is relevant but a bit too vast, if you ask for my honest opinion. But again, if we are to complete a total of 19 subjects within a period of just 5.5 years, it's quite understandable. The course curriculum and the internship facilities definitely make the students ready to face patients in the real world. The semester exams are well above the average standard, with a vast syllabus to cover within a short period of time, along with practicals. The pass percentage is 50% (I know it sounds contradictory, but that's how it works in medical colleges).
Other: I knew right from my childhood days that I wanted to become a doctor. That's the reason for choosing this course. One of the best things about my course is that I get to be around the field I love and adore. I get to crawl closer to my dream job every day through this course. The only thing I'd wish for my course to improve would be the time span given to us for covering a professional year and giving us opportunities to do more hands-on activities than just reading up theories and not coming into close contact with the clinical cases at all.

Review of Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata.
Placements: 100% of the students have to do the internship after 4 years of academics. With a 30000 per month stipend, after that, you can apply for a house staffship and get up to 1 lac per month. You will be playing the role of a medical officer in the hospital.
Infrastructure: Our college has very well-established labs and classrooms fully equipped with AC. And the canteen is very nice and very affordable. The hostel is also very affordable, at 12 rupees per month, with meals costing 50 rupees per meal and three meals per day. Rooms are very clean and spacious.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and approachable. You can contact them anytime. All of them are very renowned doctors themselves. The course is obviously very relevant, and you will be serving society. 3 semesters and one proff per year are conducted. Semesters are easy but proff is tough
Other: The batch size is 250. The course emphasizes clinical exposure and patient interaction, as patient inflow is very high. The exposure is very good. The M.Ed. fest is AGON. The biggest M.Ed. fest occurs during September, and various societies are there as well.

Absolutely very good college for infrastructure, academics events, fest and patient load etc.
Placements: Most of the students get selected for Housestaffship and rest apply for General duty reserve medical officer and prepare for post graduation. Everyone got internship in our college. During internship they got 29000 stiped and housestaffship is 45000.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very well, the academic is awesome. Almost every department is present in our college. And the hostel facility is also well, 2 students per room with good room condition and separate boys and girl hostel. There is a good facility of water.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they are well qualified and they have many well-known degrees in their subjects. The semester exams are mostly difficult and, they have theory and practical and viva portions so it seems too difficult, but most of the student got pass in this exam.
Other: This is my dream course since my childhood and the best part is it is a very noble and respectful course. Separate room for the patient and their people are there. Our college is well known for our events called AGON and also many other events like swaraswati puja and new year reunion fresher etc. Events are also celebrated.

It is a very good college in West Bengal.
Placements: Placements are average in this college. We can do private practice after MBBS course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in our college. Laboratory is moderately maintained. Classrooms and library are excellent. There are two boys' hostels and we have to walk 10-15 minutes to the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are very good in our college. Our course curriculum is relevant. We can also pursue courses like MBBS, MD, MS, DM, and M.Ch. Semester exams are moderate. If we study properly then we can score good marks.
Other: The amount of satisfaction we get after treating a patient is very good. Overall, the schedule is hectic. Fests are also conducted. This college was established in 1921.

It is good for MBBS course - CNMC.
Placements: Hello, I am an M.A. 2nd year MBBS student at Calcutta National Medical College. Here is some information about my college, the fee structure is average in my opinion. For each, we have to pay Rs 4,500 including hostel and tuition fees. The caution fee is Rs 1,000. We have to pay Rs 1,000 the first time during admission. Hostel atmosphere can be rated as 6 out of 10. Overall average.
Infrastructure: There are very good air-conditioned classrooms, lecture halls, auditorium, and reading rooms. We have a library which is suitable for good study. There are 2 parks inside this college where students can do recreational activities. There is a lack of good hygienic washrooms and drinking water. This college has no playground of our own. Hostel atmosphere is good. It can be rated as 7 out of 10 in my opinion. Canteen food is average. Medical facilities are very good and it is very much helpful.
Faculty: Our professors are very much helpful to us. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They help us to get good marks in exams. They teach thoroughly enough to understand the topic. They told us to question as much as we need about the topic if we do not understand. They are also very strict about discipline. There are total 9 semester exams and 4 professional exams. The pass percentage is 60-80%.
Other: Always I have a dream of serving people as a doctor. This is very much respected job so now I got into this. I have to study hard and be good and humble in my professions. Calcutta is very good for us to complete our study. Besides study, there are many recreational activities like fests and programs. AGON is one of them.
