Established in 2003, Chitkara College of Education (CCE) is one of the institutions in the ambit of UGC-approved Chitkara University. The University has a total of twelve institutions under it, which are listed below:

Chitkara College of Education is popularly known in Chandigarh for offering courses in the area of Teaching and Education. The College is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education and the State Government of Punjab.

The College offers full-time B.Ed and MEd programmes at PG level in collaboration with various leading private schools in North India. It grooms its students in such a manner to turn them alpha teachers, who are tech-savvy, well-trained and have expertise in their respective subjects. A number of techniques are used to groom the teachers as part of the curriculum. Apart from the standard classroom sessions, students are also exposed to google classrooms.

Candidates can get admissions through online or offline mode. Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview (PI) and final selections are based on their marks obtained in graduation and performance in PI.

International Students

• Foreign nationals, NRI or NRI sponsored students and PIO cardholders can apply for the admission
• They need to present the certificates of Class 10/ Class 12 or graduation along with the marks sheet or transcript

B.Ed
