MBA in Pharmaceutical Management - Batch of 2023

It has a good infrastructure, but I am dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: More than 95% of students have been placed. Pharma giants like GSK, J & J, Glenmark, Peter Surgicals, etc., visit the campus for placements. The role of MR (marketing representative) is being offered. The highest salary package is 6 LPA. The average salary package is 4 LPA to 4.5 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. About 100% placements are provided.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, the campus, and hostels are well-equipped with all the necessary equipment, like Wi-Fi and air conditioners. Hostels can go from average to very good, depending upon the one you choose. The quality of food provided in the mess is average. You will get different food items every other day of the week, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The canteen and food courts are there on the campus, like Circle One and Square One. A medical room is present within the campus. Various sports and games facilities, like chess, football, tennis, cricket, etc., are there.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and they are all well versed in their specialisations. They are industry expert trainers and are extremely knowledgeable with years of experience. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is up-to-date with industry scenarios and relevant as it makes the students industry-ready. The passing percentage is 50% and exams can be cracked easily if you listen carefully during the lectures. If you missed the lectures, then do not worry because a sufficient amount of reference material is provided.
Other: I am a pharmacy graduate and I thought of becoming a manager for pharma giants, so I am here for this. It teaches you basic life skills and patience and makes you see the world differently. There are some voids in the course which need to be filled, like the roles that are being offered, and also, I would like to mention that not all students are ready to work in the field. Some of us want desk jobs, so they need to plan the placements accordingly. There are many events and fests that are conducted, especially for hostelers. Events like laughter shows and DJ nights happen almost every other weekend. The crowd is pretty decent and comes from almost all parts of the nation. Within 2 to 3 km, prime cinemas are located, along with food courts, clubs, pubs, and shopping stores. No scholarships are provided. There are many extracurricular activities, including like dancing, competing, painting, debating, photography, modeling, etc.

Satisfied with the studies, faculty, and especially good placements.
Placements: Chitkara is well-known for its 100% placements, and they fulfil the same. I have also been placed in DLF Brands Private Limited for 1.5 years of internship and about to complete my internship. Many companies visited the campus for placements, and all the students from my session got placed in well-known retail brands.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. The campus is spacious, beautiful and has well-designed blocks with different names. Sports areas, libraries, etc., are available for students. A canteen named Square One is a beautiful place providing delicious and economic food for students and faculty as well. Different hostels are available for both girls and boys, but I can't tell about the quality of food as I haven't been there. Some of the classrooms have A/Cs, and some don't. The parking area is not much spacious.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and well educated. Different methods like case studies, presentations, online materials, all are used to teach. Industry exposure is provided by the faculty for students to gain practical knowledge. We have also been to some malls and manufacturing plants to gain knowledge about sales, branding, product line, categorisation etc.
Other: Many events are organised in Chitakara. Many Bollywood and Pollywood singers come for their shows and also actors to promote their upcoming movies etc. Fests are conducted regularly. Festival events like Lodhi, Holi, Republic Day, etc., are celebrated. There are many contest and competitions held in Chitkara, and I have participated in Chitkara movie festival.

Overall it would be a good decision to do MBA in Chitkara and explore your potential.
Placements: The placements in this college are the core competency. The best part of the Chitkara is it provides placements opportunities. The salary packages are good and up to the mark. Our senior batch has been placed in many of the great and renowned companies. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Goodrej, TCS, Bigbazaar and more big brands come over here for the campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent and mesmerising, an idle college one can wish for. The Wi-Fi connection is provided all over the campus. Classrooms are well cleaned, and projectors are provided in every classroom. The library is good and has the books from our academics to the general management books. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games have a special auditorium which also provides us with all the facilities.
Faculty: The course curriculum is based on the module system. We have trimester system and not the semester type. The exam days are fixed over here under this module system. We have both internal and external faculty present for us. The teachers are all the PhD holders and are knowledgeable and experienced. We get the industry exposure a lot as well. The teaching methods vary from faculty to faculty, but most of the students' practice using presentation in studies.
