Christ University Yeshwanthpur Campus - Is it worth it?
Placements: The psychology and economics batch hasn't been placed. I'm a second-year student. Our seniors are the first batch to graduate on the campus, which might explain why placements are not good. We do not have course-specific placements, and it would be better if our course had better placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful. It is still under construction for a few things. Our classrooms are good. Benches could be better because the distance between the table and the seat is huge, so you cannot sit comfortably and write. Students do not get a Wi-Fi connection anywhere. If you use the college Wi-Fi, a lot of important sites are blocked, such as RBI, Google Scholar, etc.
Faculty: The economics course faculty members are very approachable and knowledgeable. They have an interest in interacting with the class and delivering interactively. The psychology course faculty members are not very friendly and approachable. They are one of my least favourite faculty members. Some teachers are knowledgeable, but not very approachable.

Christ University is the best unversity for academics and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Maximum number of placements are provided by Christ University. Moreover, the Big Four companies like KPMG, E&Y, and PwC hire students from our college. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, whereas the lowest salary was 50,000 per month. Packages offered to students of our college are generally high. Approximately 90% of students secure placements.
Infrastructure: Library, canteen, Wi-Fi, classrooms, hostels, and other facilities are clean and well-maintained. Food is of high quality, just like education. Labs are always well-maintained, and washrooms are kept clean. Canteen food is good and hygienic. There are different blocks in our university, and each block is internally connected, making it easier for students to move from one block to another.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, and most of them are experienced with the highest level of educational qualifications. Course is highly relevant, and they encourage students to use laptops and study through them, as well as send emails, ensuring that students are prepared for office culture. Christ University is known for its academics and extracurricular activities, which help students grow to their maximum potential.

It's more about following the rules than learning.
Placements: Since we are only the second batch of this course, there isn't much information about placements. However, we have been getting internship offers from companies such as Deloitte and Goldman Sachs that also provide offer letters if the internship is successfully completed.
Infrastructure: There is a network in all the academic blocks. So you can't use your internet here. You can only connect your laptops to the campus wifi and most of the sites are blocked from that, so it mostly doesn't work. The classrooms are good and spacious with sufficient lighting. The library has a good collection of academic books but because it's on the ground floor, it isn't very quiet. I reside off-campus but from what I have heard, the hostel is very strict. They have very early curfews and dress codes and no food is allowed inside the rooms.
Faculty: While teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, they don't know how to teach. They are more concerned about whether the students are following dress codes or if they come to the class on time. They mostly just read from the slides and get the syllabus done before the exam time. The grades follow a capping system so no one gets more than an average grade.
Other: I chose this course because I felt like more opportunities would be open for me in the future. I just wish the teachers would focus more on the actual learning and well-being of the students. Apart from that, it is a very happening campus, so you'll always find something fun taking place after college hours.

Join only if you think you can survive in Christ.
Placements: Around 80–90% of the students got placed in Christ University with a good package. The highest package was 36,00,000 per annum, the lowest 5 lacs, and the average 6-9 lacs. Top recruiters are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Amazon, Accenture, Ernst & Young and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is incredible and there are enough areas to rest. Talking about Wi-Fi, they have jammers so the internet doesn't work except on college campus. In case of any emergencies, the college has medical rooms where they treat you without any charge.
Faculty: Teaching is not very efficient if you are an average student; except for the courses provided in college, you have to do your own courses outside to learn more about your interested course, like CFA, which helps in your knowledge and placements. Exams are pretty tough but if you read well, you easily get marks.
Other: There are tons of opportunities to showcase your talent, for example, creative writing, poetry, music, dance and many more.

The overall review of Christ University, Yesvantpur campus.
Placements: The placement provided here are very good with an average package of 10 LPA, but the placement rate is very low as the companies coming for recruitment are very big and will be needing those students who have knowledge outside their field also and are not just average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great; the furniture and all the things are very well maintained. There are 3 blocks, and each of them has a special purpose. Each block has lifts, and they are building new gaming zones and an auditorium. We already have 3 auditoriums, 7 computer labs, a football turf, a basketball court, a kabaddi mat, a volleyball court, and a badminton court.
Faculty: The curriculum keeps you very busy, sometimes becoming challenging, and we have to give respect to the faculty as they are very strict, and the college rules are very strict. The teachers are helpful if you are having doubts in any subject, and the course layout is easy to understand.

Focuses more on academics but good for job placements and individual growth.
Placements: 75% students were placed last academic year in Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw, Deloitte, etc. Data analyst and management related jobs were among the top roles offered for my course. The highest package offered was 36,00,000 per annum, the lowest package was 5,00,000 per annum and the average package offered was 6,00,000 to 8,00,000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at our campus is really good. The classrooms are big and spacious with digitalised boards. Wi-Fi is available to be used for laptops. There's one library in the campus. The quality of food is okay, I would rate it a 6 out of 10. We have one medical room and an ambulance available in case of emergency. For sports facilities, we have a football turf, a basketball court, and an indoor games room (carrom, snooker, foosball, chess).
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified in their fields but some of them do not know how to handle a class and teach. I believe that the college needs to provide teachers with some training. My course is very relevant and it does make the students industry ready because of various seminars and industrial visits apart from our academic curriculum.
The exams are set difficult and even if they are set easy, the assignments are made difficult. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because of the latest trends and my keen interest in pursuing it. The best things about my course is that I’m learning analytics. I wish the course had a little more exposure and practical experiences. Fest are frequent as my course is business related, we have one every two months once. The connectivity at the college is good since they have taken students form across the globe, there is a culture diversity. A scholarship is given according to the financial statements of the students. Localites are given ₹35000 scholarship. Sports day and ethnic day are organized yearly.
