Review of CIEM - Calcutta Institute Of Engineering & Management.
Placements: 85% of students get placed from our college in companies like Deloitte, Amazon, etc. The highest package offered in BBA is 25,000-30,000. Top roles offered to students from our courses are HR, operation manager, etc. There is separate training given to the students in their last year of their courses. There are placement classes so that their placement journey can go smoothly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. We have 3 buildings, one for engineering, one for management courses, and one for MBA, and one is in the making. The college has a library too. The college is surrounded by greenery all over. The college doesn't provide hostel services.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, supportive, and reachable. The faculty helps us in different ways in our lives by solving not only academic issues but also any personal issues. Our faculty members are highly educated. They try to give us knowledge beyond the classroom. The fluidity of your semester exams lies in the hands of the students and how well they prepare themselves, and of course faculty members help with the fluidity to perform well.
Other: I personally chose this course because I wanted to sharpen my knowledge in management. cooperative field fascinates me, and I wanted to sharpen my knowledge in it so that whenever I performed in the corporate field I could perform confidently. And of course, there are events held in our college every year for about. Like fifteen days, many colleges in Kolkata participate here. Also, the college provides scholarships to the students who perform well in their exams and continue to perform well in their upcoming semester exams too. The college provides extracurricular activities like basketball, football, cricket, and others too. The college has separate rooms for playing indoor games like carrom, etc.

Best placements were given by our college in Kolkata in the last 5 years.
Placements: We've got 60 students in our course and the average package offered was 3 to 4 LPA. The highest package offered was 10.11 LPA by IBM. Mostly big four have hired our batch mates. 80% students got internships from the college. The students got placed in fore and IT firms. Tech Mahindra offered the 2nd highest package.
Infrastructure: In our college, all the classes are totally smart with educomp projectors. Jio provides Wi-Fi across the campus. The labs are well maintained and the library has a huge collection of books but the librarian was a little rude. No hostels are present in the college campus but many PG are available in Tollygunge. The canteen food was our love and a playground is available for sports.
Faculty: The teachers and the faculty were very helpful. Mostly they are from IITs and other government organizations, they all are M.Tech or MS graduates so they provide the best quality of teaching. Nowadays ECE is one of the most demanding streams of engineering and our college is the best one in Kolkata. The courses covered by the college are very beautiful. The semester exams are not that tough if you study well.
Other: I chose this course for many reasons and in the end it proved to be very helpful for me. In ECE, there should be more labs. The college organised many sports event and Celsius is one of our fests.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty; placements also aren't good.
Placements: Less than 10% students were placed in my course. The highest package is 3 LPA, the lowest package is 1.5 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. No good companies come to the college for placement. The college didn't offer us any internship. Web Developer, IT Employee, Graphic Designer, etc., are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good in our college. There are more than 500 computers in the computer labs, a huge library, and a huge lab block for engineering students. The college has a huge ground for sports. Our college doesn't have a hostel. The quality of food in the college canteen is good.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average in the college. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students ready for the IT industry. But the college isn't good for this course. Semester exams are conducted by MAKAUT University. The invigilators are provided by the college. The passing average is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because it’s budget-friendly, and it’s the nearest college. The course is okay, but the college isn’t good. Events and college fests are too good.

Everything is good except the placements.
Placements: The only disadvantage of this college is it’s placements. The placements cell is too inactive. Though they bring some startups, but they offer very less salaries and not proper job roles. The students need to find jobs themselves. They have to apply for off-campus placements. The college will only provide a link.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent having a huge playground, classrooms and labs which are good. Moreover, the infrastructure is good. The labs are fully AC with the systems upgrading. It has a central library where one can only take books related to the curriculum and not on other topics.
Faculty: The curriculum they follow is absolutely based on MAKAUT. Besides, extra Certificate courses are also provide to up skill. Some faculty members are exceptionally talented and will help you grow not only as an engineering student but also as a human being. The atmosphere is friendly and overall, not as strict like that of other colleges.
Other: The biggest advantage or best thing of this college is the campus life here. I have met the most precious friends here who will ultimately help you grow in life.

Placements: 1. Almost 60% of students get placements.
2. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA.
3. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, HP, and Hexaware.
4. No internships are provided by our college.
5. The top roles offered were assistant associate and web developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were very good and the library is very big—almost 25,000 books are there. The quality of the facilities provided is very good. The college sports field is very big and almost 7 sports are available. The canteen is very good and the food is very good.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and all of them are very well qualified. The pass percentage is almost 90%. The course is very good, with different faculty members covering different papers with proper guidance. There are sports teachers for different sports.

Absolutely satisfied with our faculty and they provide good placements.
Placements: 45 students are in my course.
The highest number of average packages offered in my course is 6Lpa and the lowest number of packages offered is 3Lpa and the average packages offered is 4Lpa.
The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, KKable, etc.
From my college, 60 to 70 percent of students got internships in Loreal, Wipro, etc.
Top roles offered in my course is head manager.
Infrastructure: Our college has great facilities and infrastructure. In our department, we have many labs, computer labs, and classrooms that can accommodate up to 70 students. The library is open 24/7 and has a wide selection of books. Our college also has Wi-Fi, although it’s not always reliable.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any hostels available on campus, but the canteen is quite good. We also have excellent medical facilities. Our college participates in intra-department and intra-college sports events, including football matches.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are not really helpful, but the teachers are really qualified in their subjects and they are very knowledgeable.
The teachers are very skilled and they teach in English and Bengali.
It makes the students industry-ready to face the world.
There is no difficulty in semester exams if you have learned enough to pass your exam, and the pass percentage of our college is 33 percent.
Other: Because of my parents, but this course is amazing, and in this course, I learn about programming, coding, and digital animation.
The better would be if they reduced the syllabus.
In our college, we organise freshers and fest in the year, and our campus crowd is really good and friendly, and in our campus surroundings, there is a metro for travelling, and in our college, they provide scholarships and they also let us do some extracurricular activities such as dance,fashion show, singing, NCC, etc.
