It is one of the best self-financed colleges in Rajasthan.

Placements: About 25% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Byju's, etc. Top roles offered are developer and business development associates. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6 LPA, the lowest salary package offered in our course is 1.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered in our course is around 2.5 LPA. About 10% of the students got an internship from ISRO, DMRC,...

I'm satisfied with faculty. Placements are good here.

Placements: The placement rate was around 70%. Placement rate is high in our college. A lot of companies visit our college for placements. They offer jobs to all the students. The salary package offered to all students is good.

I still miss my college life. The campus was good, and teachers were highly supportive.

Placements: Placements are good for other branches but not much good for the civil branch. As a civil engineer, you should focus on government jobs. You can choose M.Tech in civil engineering after graduation and can have endless possibilities to be a civil engineer. You can go for off-campus placements as well.

There are no placements in our college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not very good. Every year, only a few, i.e., approximately 30 students get placed through the college placements with an average salary package of 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. T&P cell doesn't provide any support or assistance to students. Also, there aren't any special classes for students regarding the interview preparation.

Not satisfied because of placements and bad infrastructure.

Placements: In reality, there are no placements and internships. For placement, you need to get a job on your own. Companies do not visit our campus. The placement opportunities are few. Some students are very talented, and they take the off-campus placements of 3-5 Lacs per year. So, try it yourself.

Good infrastructure but very bad management and poor placements

Placements: I don't know much about the placement but I can say that very few students get placed every year. Only around 20-30% of the student get placed every year. Very few companies have been to the college. The highest salary offered was about 2.5 lakhs and the lowest was around 1.6 lakhs. There are 0% students who got internships from this college.

College of Engineering and Technology Bikaner review.

Placements: No one got placed from my college, though most of the students are now placed due to their own effort. The college has seen some companies coming for placements but they were paying too low for someone to join. The placement dept. was not doing anything from their side.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements, faculty and also facilities.

Placements: 10 to 15% students are placed from all of them. The placement record is very poor compared to other colleges and companies which offer below average placements. So before taking admission, you should consider this aspect. The offered role is not good as well. The highest package is below 10 lacs. The salary range varies from 1.5 to 3 lacs per annum.

True review of CET Bikaner for out of Rajasthan candidates.

Placements: As this is a government college, it somewhat lacks in the case of placements as compared to a private institute. The reason is that the private institutes have money for MNCs. But, the placement here is good. Many good companies like Bosch, TCS, Wipro, L&T etc are visiting the campus every year. The advantage is that there are two government colleges in the same campus so double the strength that might attract some minds. The maximum package last year was about 8 lakhs and the minimum was around...

A honeytrap in name of being a govt college!

Placements: The placements from GCET Bikaner are almost nil! Only a handful of students get placed from the cse dept that too in mostly BPOs and tech firms which are locally located. Few people are able to make it to TCS, Infosys and Cognizant but it is all because of their own efforts and have nothing to do with college. The placement cell is as bad as it can get, no exposure is provided in terms of internships or even a site visit. Almost 3-4 local companies visit the campus. Out of a 120 student batch, j...

Government expenditure not very useful for the students.

Placements: Firstly, for our senior batch, it cannot be mentioned in a percentage but can be mentioned in numbers. Hardly 2-3 seniors from my branch were placed, and there were around 10-12 seniors from other non-core branches who got the placement, but their package was maximum in 4 digits per month. Regarding my batchmates' placement, around 15-16 students are placed in a Jaipur-based company with an average package of around 2.5 lakhs per annum. Last year, L&T, Honda, Ranosys Technologies, technologies e...

GCET is good college for mechanical engineering. There is good support of faculty members. This is a government recognised college. College life is very good. In this college support of faculty members is good. There is poor placement and average infrastructure. Hostel facilities are good. You won’t get your Punjabi food delicacies cooked the way you want, but you’re surely going to fall in love with Rajasthan Mess though.

I am not satisfied with placements and teachers, but provides good infrastructure with cleaning.

Placements: This college does not provide good training and placements, and they do not have good placements history. Students had to work on their own to get placed. The top recruiting companies for our college were Ranosys, Sun Arc which were situated in the same city.

100% placement with well-designed modern classrooms.

Placements: The college provides 100% placements in the ceramic course. Ceramic is a totally new course and in this branch, there are a lot of opportunities available for the students.

The labs are good but there are no proper kits available.

Placements: There are not many placements held at my college. Some students got placed and the highest package goes to 8 LPA. Crin named company comes every year and select a few students with no backlog. My electrical branch facilities are very good best in class. They provide training under IIT college.

Good college and placements were good in 2014. But not much facilities.

Placements: Placements from my college are very good and my seniors are very serious about their placements. They work very hard for this and almost 15% student got good packages and its average is 3 to 4 LPA and maximum package is 6 LPA and the minimum is 2 LPA. Some got selected in government jobs.

I am not satisfied due to excessive guest teachers, low placement rate and improper management.

Placements: Our college does not have a good placement rate. Only a few students get placed, but reputed companies visit our college. The average salary package offered varies from 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Our college does not do proper grooming and counselling of students for interviews. The training and placement cell is not as active to invite a number of companies to our college for placements. The placement cell does not coordinate well with students to arrange internships for them in good companies.
