Vibrant Campus Life at CEG.
Placements: Currently, I am in my third year as far as the placements and internships go our college is very esteemed. Very old college we have a greater army association and alumni connections so it will be very much easier to get connections outside the college through the alumni as far as college placement cell goes. We have many companies visiting yearly for our college for internships and placements and college has done a very good job at bringing those companies.
Infrastructure: Even though our college is 200 years old, all the infrastructure is present and is very much available for students. But, we may not have a mobile network on the college campus. But there is Wi-Fi present all around the campus so it is very much helpful. Labs have very high facilities like the computers software required are very much pre-installed and ready to use. Hostels are affordable and manageable but still a bit of improvement is required.
Faculty: As far as curriculum goes, the curriculum is regulated every four years. It is changed based on industrial requirements and other changes. Faculty members are very friendly, approachable, and very experienced in various fields. Very diverse staff are present in the department and also the exams are conducted twice within the semester which are the internal assessment. Finally, we have an ancient semester totally accounting for the grades of the students.

Hostel facilities are available at a reasonable price with all types of rooms including single, double sharing etc. Mess is hygienic along with a canteen being available in the campus. Sports and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive towards the students. All the faculty members are well trained and qualified. Their teaching methodology is good. Also, the mentors are very supportive and are always available to help. Exams are easy to pass. Passing percentage is around 60 percent.
Other: Scholarships are provided for girls.
