Diploma in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2022

Placements must be improved.
Placements: In the diploma course there were not much placements opportunities available for the students at the college. Hardly few of the students gets placed at this college. Most of the students gets off campus placements. College placements cell is neither developed not active.
Infrastructure: Facilities at this institute are comparatively good. Infrastructure available for our course is good. College has WiFi connectivity, labs, computers, library, canteen etc facilities for the students. Food in the canteen was overall good. Sports facilities are also given to the students.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are qualified and knowledgeable. They give their best for the students. Course curriculum of the college is relevant and makes students industry ready. Exams of the college are moderate in difficulty. Overall learning program at this college is also good.

You will love this college for sure. There are some ups and downs but you will learn lots of things.
Placements: There is less chance of getting a placement through college. But they send emails for companies; we can get placed happy with that also. Hopefully they will improve their campus placements so that real companies will come and offer jobs for our qualification.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, classrooms are clean & maintained daily, labs are okay; they are using old core 2 duo processors, but I think it is enough for the things we are learning; they should update their syllabus as per 2023-24; they are using the 2018 syllabus for most courses.
Faculty: They are extremely helpful; courses are relevant, but I don't think it will make us industry-ready; exams are pretty good; no issues with that. Teachers are good (only some of them, not all). You have to do self-study as well to get ready. In one word, it is above average.
Other: I would love to see improvement in curriculum that will make students industry-ready. My batch was the first batch of COMP&IOT, so lots of experiments were conducted on us, but they are improving constantly. I would love to see that.

Diploma in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2022

Diploma in Computer Science at the Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology.
Placements: Every year, around 20–25% of the students get placements in this course. The average package offered at our college was between 3 to 4 LPA. Some local IT companies visit the college for placements in our course. Various workshops and hackathons are organized at our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course at this college is good enough. The facilities at the college are also sufficient. All necessary amenities, like Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, and sports grounds, are available for the students. The food in the mess and canteen is good. Various sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is experienced and knowledgeable. Teachers provide good quality teaching to the students. Students receive all the necessary support and help. The course curriculum of the college is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Teachers impart proper programming knowledge to the students. Exams are not excessively difficult to pass.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024

Dissatisfying campus facility and poor hygiene.
Placements: Many who were there for placement got jobs. The highest package that I know of was 8 LPA, and the average and lowest were 3 to 4 LPA. There were less than 30% of students who actually wanted jobs; most of them wanted to pursue higher studies. SBEM, Bajaj Auto, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, Suzlon, etc., were there for placement.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities for students. Washrooms and classrooms were never cleaned. Washrooms were most of the time inaccessible. There was no Wi-Fi connection for students. Most of the equipment and PCs were out of order. Most of the equipment in labs was old, and PCs were not updated for years.
Faculty: There were some teachers who were excellent, while others did not teach at all. Office faculty is very rude and slow. Exams were not so difficult; most of the questions were repeated from previous years. The curriculum is good, but not as good as it would make us industry-ready.
Other: There were no interactions and sports facilities for students in Diploma.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and great placements.
Placements: 70 students are placed in every course The highest package one received was 5 LPA. The lowest was 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Bajaj, etc. 95% of our students got internships through our college and others chose other companies on their own.
Infrastructure: The faculty for our course is top-notch; they are highly qualified for teaching particular subjects; we have separate labs for every subject; Wi-Fi is provided for every department; and we also have faculty cabins. In a library, there are a huge of books for each subject .
Faculty: Our faculty is highly qualified for teaching particular subjects; they are very helpful to students and guide us whenever we need help about any subject or career options further after the course. Yes, our course curriculum is perfect to make all the students industry-ready.
Other: From the beginning, I was eager to learn more about machines. That is the reason for choosing this course. Our campus is very beautiful and perfect for students to study .

College needs to improve placements opportunities for the students.
Placements: In the Diploma course, few students get placed at this college. Students need to apply off-campus for placements. The average package offered at the college is between 4-5 LPA. Overall, the college needs to improve its placement facilities for students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available at the college are decent. The college management tries to provide all possible good facilities to the students, such as labs, a library, Wi-Fi, a canteen, sports facilities, etc. A hostel is also available for the students.
Faculty: Of course, the teachers at the college are qualified and knowledgeable. They provide good-quality teaching to the students. The course curriculum of the college is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Exams at the college are difficult to pass.
