M.Sc. in Physics - Batch of 2024
4.6

Absolutely satisfied with the college facilities.
Placements: The minimum marks required for admission are 50% in bachelors. The possible job fields are research and teaching. The package may vary based on experience and skills. If you qualify for the CSIR NET, then you can get good opportunities for your career. You can also go teach in school after B.Ed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well maintained, including a Wi-Fi campus. Good facilities at the library and canteen. There are a number of books for students. There is special help for needy students. There is also a first aid room for students in case of an emergency. The environment is best for studying.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They provide the best education and proper notes and assignments. They conduct tests for good preparation for exams. They also provide guidance for entrance exams. They arrange time-to-time seminars, webinars, and competitions for students.

It is a supportive college but needs improvement in a job providing aspect.
Placements: There were 35 students during our course. For placements, no companies or industries visited a college when I completed my course. So I can say college placement opportunity was not provided to enrolled students. Students were thus deprived of having a job here after course completion.
Infrastructure: Labs of college were well-equipped to help students to perform experiments and verify the practical aspect of their subject. The library of the college is well supported by various useful books by different foreign and local authors. I was a day scholar, so no comments in hostel quality.
Faculty: Teachers who were experienced were helpful and resourceful. Teachers who were freshers in the field were helpful in a way that they provide a solution to common day to day problem faced by students. The teaching quality can be improved in the way of teaching methods used and exposure provided to students. Students are not industry-ready, curriculum needs improvement.
Other: I have chosen this course because it matches with my educational interest, and I want my career to be based on this course. The syllabus of this course should be replanned to include practical training and real-life exposure.

The college has good faculty, but average pedagogy and some scope of improvement.
Placements: Since 2008, the college has placed over 2,000 students in various banks, financial institutions, IT and consultancy firms. In the last 6 months, it has become the reputed in Jalandhar in terms of its placements as it placed 289 students in the half-year, which is remarkable. The salary packages offered range between 1 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is well furnished with free Wi-Fi facility on the campus as well as in various labs. But the condition of classrooms, benches, etc., needs to improve a lot. The college library is extremely exhaustive and has a huge collection of books on a plethora of fields and also various research magazines and periodicals, which is on a highly positive side.
Faculty: Some teachers were helpful and had vast knowledge in their areas of specialisation. But the course curriculum is more theory-oriented, and it is not capable enough to complete specialise you in one particular field and make you industry-ready. So the syllabus and course curriculum needs a lot of improvement.
Other: The best thing about our course is it has a huge scope, and also a lot of areas providing the scope for its practical applications. It also teaches you how to deal with the chemical compounds in real life and how they are used in applications in the lives of common people.

This is the best college.
Placements: This college is the best. Many companies take interest and come for the campus selection process. In 2017, more than 50 students were selected in Concentrix, and a very good package was offered to them. If a student wants a good job for a good future, then this is a nice college.
Infrastructure: It has a nice infrastructure. It has a very good campus for every department. There is a large playground, but the hostel facility is not that good. The college canteen is awesome, and everything is tasty especially masala Chai. The students take part in many games in other states also. The library is very good.
Faculty: The faculty is very hardworking and helping in nature. All the faculty members are well-qualified. They solve the student's problems quickly.
The student to teacher ratio is 50:1. They provide all the bachelor's degree courses and the master's degree courses except MCA,
even all types of BA, B.Sc B.Com, BBA, etc., and MA in every field.
Other: The IT fest is celebrated in February every year. They also organise the fresher's party and the farewell party. Talent hunt and many other events related to the student's fields are conducted.

Really good infrastructure and facilities etc.
Placements: The placement of the college was not so good but after my completion of course I got selected in my college only for teaching and its a very good college for getting internship and placement but almost 50% got selected at my time of learning and its not so good numbers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and I got very good exposure. If I talk about facilities then there were full facility of labs, library, classrooms, and Wi-Fi also. The hostel and mess was also good. The food quality we were getting there was so good.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are so good and they were so helpful,l they were always keen to help out the students and they are always available at any cost. Also they all were so knowledgeable and their teaching quality was just excellent. And also my course curriculum is relevant and it makes students ready for industry as well as colleges.
Other: Campus life is so good. The environment of college is so good I choose this college because I was so much interested in making medicines and do experiments. And my course helps me to improve my lab skills.
