It is good for academically poor students and not enough for professional students.
Placements: Placements are not organised in our college for this course. However, some of the students got internships in local companies like data into excel related companies. Students of this college prepare for government jobs, so none of the companies visits our college. Our college is good for financially poor students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the classrooms or college is not much good. The condition of the classrooms is very bad as they are not cleaned and don't have Wi-Fi and proper electricity facilities. However, classrooms have proper sitting arrangements and have decent lighting conditions. However, there are some good things about this college like labs and libraries. But our college doesn't have a hostel facility, medical facilities, canteen and also sports and games. Buildings of all departments are old, and they are not innovated and not painted for ages. There are labs, but they are not in working condition. The library has decent sitting arrangements and also provides books at the beginning of the semester or throughout the degree, which we have to return after completing the semester or degree. There are PCs. There is also one huge area with a lot of plant saplings around the corners.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college are very bad. If any student asks any question related to the admission process, then they shout at them. Only two or three lectures are conducted in a month. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, but they never try to help us with any problem. Except for some teachers, all teachers just do their job and don't care whether students are facing problems, understanding the subject or not. My course is very good, and they taught us about practical knowledge. But few classes are conducted in our college, and they do not make us industry-ready. The curriculum is outdated, and it doesn't even prepare us for our daily life or even government jobs. We have to prepare on our own for the government jobs along with graduation through coaching centres available outside.
Other: Our college doesn't have a placement cell as it is a small state-government college. Students opt for government jobs like banks, railways, SSC, etc. Students only take admission to get studies from good enough college. So, they get at least degrees so as to become eligible to opt for various fields in their career. There is a crowd only during application or form filling and during examinations. Our college is well connected through roads and placed in the town area. Events and fests are not organised, and students can join some student unions like ABVP, etc.
When will the admissions begin for MA Hindi at DS College?
