    A:
    {Source: BDS students & alumni}

    * Campus Life: The college has a good campus, with facilities like a library, gym, playground, and hostel for both boys and girls.
    * Food: Mess food is average, but students enjoy the varieties of food served weekly.

Overall, students agree that Darshan Dental College and Hospital provides a good education, hands-on training, and a supportive environment. My personal view on Darshan Dental College.
Placements: A total of about 100 students are admitted each year. Internships last around 300 days. There is no placement provided for intern students. We have to find jobs on our own. Almost 80% of students who complete UG are doing internships at this college only. MS is offered in all the departments.
Infrastructure: A playground, library, gym, indoor games, mess, canteen, and hostel for both boys and girls are available. There is an anti-ragging committee made up of staff members. The food served in the mess is also good. A variety of food is given. Indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and badminton are present.
Faculty: All the teachers are indeed very helpful. Most of them are postgraduates. The course curriculum is relevant. Instead of semester exams, yearly exams are conducted by the university. Around 90 percent of the students passed the exams. Paper is of average difficulty generally, but may vary sometimes.

    Darshan dental college and hospital.
Placements: Talking about dentistry, there is not much of placements. Yes, BDS/MS doctors do get placed in hospitals or clinics but for their personal growth and experience almost everyone choose to set up their own clinic. But the college definitely trains us efficiently through years of study and practice to get placed in any dental care institution.
Infrastructure: Library, Gymnasium, playground, mess, canteen, hostel ( total of 4) all the facilities are available and all the needs of students and inmates are taken care of. The hostel rooms are big and spacious with good furniture and cleanliness. Food in the mess is satisfactory and the meal is rotated on weekly basis.
Faculty: All the faculty members are excellent teachers and highly qualified. They are easy to approach and help the students every time. Every faculty puts students before them and guide them in every aspect. The college is affiliated from RUHS Rajasthan University of Health Sciences). A yearly main University exam is held at the end of each academic year and 2 internal exams and 1 Pre University exam is held along with practicals on the college level. The question paper pattern is strictly based on the syllabus provided by the RUHS and DCI ( Dental council of India). And a student can easily pass the exam with flying colours if he /she has been attentive the whole year. Overall the exams are easy.
Other: Yearly sports and cultural events are organised in the college for the students to show their talents. All sorts of sport activities are included including cricket, table tennis, volleyball, race, relay race, short put, tug of war, and many more. Along with this every now and then cultural and awareness programmes are also held. And of course, fresher's party is organised every year for the new comers.

Review of Darshan Dental College and Hospital.
Placements: An internship is for 6 months after completion of under graduation degree. The stipend offered is less for the internship students as compared to other colleges. Placements are not provided to the internship students after completing their 6 months of internship.
Infrastructure: The hostel is situated inside the college campus itself. Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls. According to the college, there is no ragging policy, and there is also an anti-ragging committee by PG students and staff members. The ragging is somewhat promoted. Sometimes the food served in a mess is good, but it is the worst in taste on other days. Varieties of food are given weekly, and there is also a special meal on Sunday. Registration for the hostel is done at the starting of the academic year, and it provides a room for two students.
Faculty: There are about 2-3 faculty members in each department in the college. There is 1 teacher for 33 students as there is a maximum of 100 students in each batch. Most of the faculty members have completed their post-graduation in the field, i.e., masters in dental surgery. There are also some faculty who only had their under graduation degree, i.e., bachelor of dental surgery. There is no semester system here, and yearly exams are conducted. But internal examinations are also there which are held every four months. We get examination papers directly from RUHS, which are neither easy nor hard.

I am satisfied with this college, because it is affiliated with a government university.
Placements: In our 2020 batch, 66 students take admission to this college. Many seniors are studying and completed their college life, and get placed in government colleges. Around 90% of passed-out students complete internships from this college.
Infrastructure: The college campus is good. Wi-Fi facilities will be available in college and hostel, but there is nothing such facility is available. Mess food is average. The medical facilities are available i.e. from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The library is available on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers are not of that level. They are like school teachers not like professors of a medical college. Teachers are qualified but didn't know the way to teach. Semester exams are from a direct government university. Around 85% of students are passing the semester exam every year.
Other: In this college, every small event is celebrated which is good. Students and management staff are friendly.

It is a beautiful college and situated in a beautiful city.
Placements: Almost 80% of students will pass out and start a clinic. After graduation, most of the students start their private practice after internships. Most of them start earning well. The highest salary package offered was 48 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 10 LPA-12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 6 LPA-8 LPA. Top dental clinics and hospitals of any major cities visit here for placements. Around 70%-75% of the students who passed the last year 2020-2021 were allowed to do internships in any private clinic. HOD, hospital manager, professor and reader are the top roles offered here.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are available for all courses here. There are separate clinics for courses offered here. There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel and college currently for students. Classrooms are huge, spacious and also well maintained. There is a huge library with a good collection of books, which include all aspects of dentistry, including most of the medical books and novels. The food served is not very good but above average. There's a huge playground which is well maintained. Pharmacy is attached to the college. The canteen is available near the mess.
Faculty: Teachers here are experienced and very well qualified. Most of them are master graduates, and their teaching quality is good. The course is relevant. This college prepares students to be good dental practitioners when they pass out. Semester exams are tough as students are required to learn everything in order to get in-depth knowledge of the subject.
Other: Most of the major events are conducted here like anti-tobacco day, doctors day, dentist day, Independence Day, fresher's day, etc. I chose this course as I wanted to be a dentist, and my NEET score is best matched for this course.
