Diploma in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2019

I am somewhat disappointed with our college.
Placements: Placement opportunities were not available during my tenure, so I suggest students not to join this college hoping to get placement assistance because you would be disappointed. It is a huge campus, and you wouldn't imagine it in such a place, as it is located in the city.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility here was not a good option, so I suggest students not to go for it unless it is a big necessity. The canteen facility was not available as the college was in the city. Students were suggested to bring their food from home. A library is available, where you could get your hands over some of the books related to subjects.
Faculty: Teachers were good, but there was a burden on them from the management because a single teacher had to teach two to three subjects. Some teachers were freshers in the teaching profession. Still, they tried their level best to help and guide us. Separate faculty members were not allotted for labs and workshops.
Other: Currently, events and fests are not conducted in our college.

I suggest you not to take admission in this college unless you just want to get a certificate.
Placements: There is no hope that you will get placements from our college. I was from the first batch of our college, but there were no placement opportunities for us. If you want to take admission here by expecting that you will get placements in reputed or in any company, this college is not the right place.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good here, and our college has huge labs. There is no sports facility, and the canteen has the least maintained and unhygienic food. The quality of water available in the water tank will make you feel thirsty throughout the day, but I suggest you not to drink that water ever. Labs are available, but due to power cut issues, any device which needs electricity doesn't operate. There is no power backup also.
Faculty: Teachers here were qualified. They were very helpful if it is regarding submissions, orals and practicals. Their teaching quality is not up to the mark, and they are not friendly while teaching. Their teaching techniques are hard to learn, and they make learning boring.
Other: I have chosen this course as I wanted to become an engineer. After completing this course, your life will be great. I wish that our college should conduct more practicals for our course. Events are not organised as our batch was the first batch, but I think they might be held now. The connectivity to our college is not worse than you expect. For the first year, we were charged Rs. 250 from station to college and our college is situated in a jungle.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2019

Our college has bad teaching quality and infrastructure, but the surroundings are very good.
Placements: As the college is located in a rural area, most of the students are from a rural area only. Most of the students have an aggregate of below 70% in their academics. Only a few students have an aggregate of above 70% and not even more than 85%. In our college, placements are not offered, and companies don't visit. Students have to manage to get placements on their own. As recruiters didn't visit, so salary packages are not offered. Most of the students apply for B.E/B.Tech after diploma. None of the students did internships, and only a few students applied for jobs. But many of those jobs are not related to our field. So, only 2%-4% of the students get jobs in the mechanical field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not very good, and even you see the dripping of the ceiling during monsoon in the library and some classrooms. In the labs, most of the equipment didn't work at all. Our college authority doesn't even care about that, and if we complain to them, they will say that we will take care of it. Classrooms are average and don't have a projector facility, and some benches are broken. Wi-Fi facility is not provided. There was no hostel facility, and the quality of the food served was below average and not much good. Even we have to check the expiry date of packaged food and beverages. Medical facilities are not available. Sports are conducted annually, but they don't provide a proper schedule.
Faculty: Teachers here are not much qualified. However, some of them are very good and help every student in their doubts. But some don't care and have average knowledge about the subject, and they teach using books and don't provide their knowledge. The teaching quality was poor. The course curriculum should have to be relevant as the board provides its own curriculum to our college. But sometimes, our college doesn't follow it. In our course, we are assigned the role of operating the Lathe machine. Other than this role, a few more roles are assigned, but they are not very important.
Other: I have a passion for driving any machine, so I chose this course. The best thing about our course is we gain knowledge apart from books. The syllabus should be changed in a way to expose students to the latest technology. Events and fest are very less here, and the campus crowd is also very less. The nearest railway station to our college is Titwala, which is about 5.5 km away. Campus surroundings are quite good and very silent, which gives good vibes. I don't have any idea about scholarships, but I think our college doesn't provide them. Extracurricular activities are very low, and teachers also don't encourage students.
