Review of Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University.

Placements: Placements were good. Kurukshetra University has a very active training and placements team that works to the best of their abilities so that students can get into the domains of their interest. Since my course was bachelors in commerce, placement opportunities were mainly from banking and financial services. Kurukshetra University has added courses like computer languages and marketing, etc.

Less focus on practical aspects, and it is just for getting a degree.

Placements: Kurukshetra University does not assist much on the part of placements just like the other government universities. Instead, I would say that placement assistance is negligible. Placements are not the focus aspect of this university, unlike the private universities.

It is a good place to pursue a degree.

Placements: One should never consider Directorate of Distance Education for placements. I chose this institution just for getting a degree as I was pursuing CA as well. DDE does not organise any placement drives. However, one may appear in the open placement drives.

One can pursue MBA here just to get the masters degree.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, very few companies visit the campus and offer placements for students who are pursuing the regular courses. One should never consider Directorate of Distance Education, KU as one of the institutes that provides good placements.

Satisfied with this university.

Placements: The placement is zero in distance education. You have to be hard to get a job. It is the only way to study more and nothing more, and this is just to collect degrees. There are no placements after this, and you have to find a job on your behalf. University has zero marks for this purpose.

Not upto the mark due to lack of placements and industry exposure.

Placements: This college place their students mostly in private banks of MBA course. And those who are of marketing stream gets sales ( field) job. Which in terms of placements not a good college. This college does not call reputed companies which lower down the morale of students.

The distance department, Kurukshetra University.

Placements: The university doesn't have a placement cell. Even they need to be offered placements for distance candidates, but they have very good professors as I attended personal contact programme which is mandatory for distance education candidates, where they guide and try to enhance interpersonal skills.

The university is very good for a bright future.

Placements: The placements of our seniors were good. All the students were placed in reputed companies. Our batch also had ninety percent placements. Reputed companies visit the campus and recruit the capable students according to their qualifications and abilities. Internship projects are conducted to improve the personality.

An affordable college with good education and placements.

Placements: The placements of the college are up to the mark. Many of the students were placed in this year in front of me. Our college provided the highest package of 6-7 lacs and the lowest package of 2-3 lacs. Almost 95% of the students were placed this year.

I have done BA from KU. The college is great with genuine fees for every course. The college environment is awesome. The canteen, toilet, hostels all are good. The teachers are also great, they solve the problems of the students easily. I will recommend to all for their bright future.

Fee structure of this university is very low with good facilities and this university is the oldest university of north region. So that’s the main reason to join this university. And I personally think that if any student have fee problem than it should join this college because this collage provides you best study with low fee.

The facilities are not superior but okay just like any other college.

Placements: Not everyone, but most of the students got placed in half of the class with an average package of 4 or 5LPA. The highest goes to 12 LPA and the minimum I don't believe is less than 3 LPA for anyone. Companies like Byjus, Unacademy, Acadshot, Vistas, Scalar, and Planet spark visit. Many top companies come here. Internships are not offered by the college. There are different roles offered.

Placements: They provided the best salary packages. About 83% of students were placed. Many companies in India visit here every semester.
