Review of Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu.
Placements: This is a government college so it does not provide any internship or placement. Although it's a government institution, it is very effective compared to others. There is not much to discuss but the college is of top quality for me because my opinion is subjective.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available are quite good. The canteen is good. The library is also good. Classrooms are good with digital boards. There are courts for badminton and volleyball. There is a big playground.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and qualified. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Exams are decent but the evaluation of the answer sheets is tough so it becomes difficult for the students to pass all subjects. Te teaching quality is very good.
Other: I chose the B. A course because it is a suitable course for my priorities and career. It is very simple and without complexity. The campus is situated on the outskirts of the town and it has not much crowd. It is surrounded by beautiful green trees.

The college has value for money by providing the right education and right atmosphere for students.
Placements: This college has had good placement records in the previous years. There are also a lot of workshops that help us to level up ourselves which will surely benefit us during our placements. A lot of opportunities are provided here along with great academics.
Infrastructure: It is a great learning experience. It has all facilities on campus. Academics are also very good. Our college has a rich library and a good huge lab. The campus is amazing.
Faculty: Undoubtedly, this is the best college in terms of academics. Faculty members are so good and friendly that students can clear their doubts anytime. Students will be job-ready after graduating from this college. Overall, it is a good place for any student who wants to be here. Faculty members are so cooperative and supportive. They work hard for us and always welcome everyone to ask anything and discuss any problems one has.
Other: Campus life is amazing here where we can live our life to the fullest together with our studies. It is located so close to Dwarka sec 10 metro station. It provides a good and a positive atmosphere. There are a lot of events, fests, and workshops conducted throughout the session which are interesting and especially, career counseling sessions.

It is a good college but needs some more achievements like placements or extracurricular activities.
Placements: The average salary package offered is 1 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, the lowest salary offered is Rs 80,000 thousand. Byju's is the top recruiting company, and the role offered is a manager in various private banks. Around 10% of students get internships, mainly in study-related tutors like Byju's, Aakash, Mahindra, etc., as a marketing manager or as a teacher.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is available but at low speed. Laboratories are good at a top-level, classrooms are good mainly ventilation is good. The library is also good. The hostel rooms are average. The quality of food is medium but canteen is good and easily affordable for students. The medical facilities are average, sports and games are good because Jammu University has a big playground.
Faculty: Teachers are good, well qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is dependent upon the teacher to teach but most are good and helpful. The course is sufficient for working in various industries as an accountant or manager. Exams are at a medium level, and the pass percentage is 60-70%.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in accounts or economics. The best thing about our course is that students can get knowledge about various business-related ideas. Placements would be better. Events like local culture fests, campus crowd is average. Connectivity is good because this university is situated in the heart of the city, campus surroundings are good. The scholarships are based on performance. Extracurricular activities are rare in this college.

It is a good department if you want to pursue graduation through correspondence mode.
Placements: It is a correspondence distance course. The university just provides the degree through the distance method, and the students have to find the jobs on their own. The department does not provide any placements through their own college or university. The course is good, and you can fill many exam forms on its basis and secure a freshers job for yourself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the department are good. You can get any guidance you want anytime. It is a distance course, and you do it mainly from your home. We get some classes sometimes, and they are good enough to study this course. It also provides the study material for the studies.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite helpful if you want to clear any doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. It is a commerce bachelor's degree, which is quite useful for commerce students. Exams are easy to pass if you are studying at home.

It is a good University as it provides different courses and all the facilities within the campus.
Placements: The placements are not that awesome in this university as it is a government University. Only 10-15% companies of North India are coming over there. But still, I consider it as a good University overall as it provides different courses within the campus.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, medical facilities, hostel, food quality, classrooms, libraries, auditoriums, outdoor grounds, indoor grounds, games and other sports facilities are just incredible in this campus. It is having a great electricity facilities, securities etc. as well.
Faculty: The teachers and the other faculty of the campus are very qualified, helpful and knowledgeable in the campus. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. and they are very helpful to all the students as well as the alumni. The principals, as well as the other staff, is also helpful.

Review of Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu.
Placements: The college provides sufficient placements. Various reputed companies like HCL, Hyundai, SBI, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, etc., visited the campus for placements. Roles like executives, managers, HR, accountants were offered. Most of them got selected for their jobs. Our university also has a placement cell which acts as a mediator between the students and the organisations. In addition to this, we have career counselling cell which guides the students about what opportunities can be grabbed and how to gear up for them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is well established and maintained. It also provides internet and Wi-Fi facility to almost all the academic departments. It furnishes seamless roaming facility every time. The internet facility on the university main campus is provided by NKN.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very supportive, encouraging and try to solve all matters concerning academic environment and activity on the campus. Moreover, the university has almost thirty-three teaching departments. Besides graduate and postgraduate courses, it also offers short-term job oriented and professional courses.
Other: To encourage fitness and firm health, the university organises yoga camps at different hill stations surrounded by the lush green environment with a good climate. It also provides residential facilities to students, teaching faculty and non- teaching faculty as well.
