Review of District Institute of Education and Training, Dhenkanal.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students got placed in different technical companies like Accel Mittel, Tata, Mahindra, Adani, etc. The highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 1.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Tata and Samsung were the top recruiting companies. Internships were offered in companies like Tata, Adani, etc. Fitter was the top role offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Computer laboratory, library, and technical laboratory were available with good infrastructure. Wi-Fi was available on campus. Hostel was in good condition, and the rooms were spacious. The food served in the mess was good. Sports like cricket, badminton, and volleyball were available.
Faculty: All teachers were very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was the best. Our course curriculum was relevant as they follow the prescribed syllabus which helps students grab the market opportunities. The semester exams were difficult, and the pass percentage was 90%.
Other: I opted for this course because of its faculty members. Our campus life was good. This course was the best. Annual sports, cultural fest, and many small events were conducted in our college.
