    Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: The college provides 100% placements. The average salary package offered is 10 lakhs per annum. The roles offered are nurses, doctors, lab technicians etc. The top recruiters are Max Hospitals, Dabur, AIIMS Ranbaxy, SIDCKUL, Patanjali, Synergy Hospital, National Heart Institute, Metro Hospital, Derma Care, Russan etc.
Infrastructure: The college has smart classrooms. We have professional, competent and expert faculty to inculcate a questioning bent of mind and curiosity in the students. Our faculty members with rich academics as well as industrial experience act as facilitators for the student's future and members for their lives. The university has a modern infrastructure and technological support for teaching, learning and personality development of its students. The university provides well-furnished lecture halls giving future managers and technocrats a focused arena to develop their personalities. The latest audio-visual aids and multimedia technology enable the faculty to have interactive sessions of teaching, which proliferate confidence and enthusiasm among the students.
Faculty: All our teachers are well-qualified doctors, having their Master's degree in their respective subjects. All are experienced more than 4 years in academics. Semester exams are not that difficult. All teachers are very supportive. They help us with everything.

Good faculty but bad college maintenance of environment and facilities.
Placements: There has been no placement yet from this college. Students have to search for their own accommodation for earning. Being a BAMS student, we can become doctors to work independently or opt for higher education and pursue MD or MS or become a medical officer. One can also become a health inspector as per guidelines.
Infrastructure: There are no lecture rooms available here. There is no Wi-Fi available on campus or in the hostel. The classrooms are small and dusty. The hostels are in very bad condition, and no facilities are provided here. The food is worse than anything else; something new is found in the food daily; recently, a bolt was found. Hostelers are not allowed to have their own vehicles. The rules are unappreciated and unacceptable.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in every way. Good education is provided here. We have a cadaver too. Yes, the course curriculum is appropriate, and it makes a student fully ready to be a public servant. Exams are really difficult as they are conducted by UAU University.
Other: I was looking for MBBS, but due to low marks, I opted for BAMS. The best thing I learned while studying this course is that Ayurveda is the oldest form of medical history. Every other form came after this. Surgery, being Shalya, was known much before the world came up with it. The college conducts its fest every year, but students are the ones participating. Being in a very backward village, there is no social connection from this place. There are no scholarships available for admission.

Teachers are good and supportive, infrastructure is good and spacious and peaceful.
Placements: Our college provides placements in top companies like Patanjali. Specifically for our course B.A.M.S. There have been no such placements as the first batch of 2017 is still in the 4th year because of covid and quarantine. But for other courses like BPT nursing, and BMLT BMRIT provides good internships to almost all students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DIMS is good. Wi-Fi is available in hostels but isn't available in the college. Library is good and has various books for every subject. Every classroom has a projector for displaying slides. Separate cricket, football and volleyball court are available which is good. It has its own hospital with good OPDs.
Faculty: Faculty members at DIMS are well versed with the knowledge of their course and are very supportive and understanding. The teaching quality is good and teachers are regular. Ayurveda, as a course, is unique on its own and is exciting. There is so much to learn in it that one who has knowledge of Ayurveda can achieve wonders in life. About 50% is the passing percentage in this course and the exams are conducted yearly.
Other: Ayurveda is a wide and exciting course. I always wanted to be a doctor so preferred to be an ayurvedic doctor.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is quite good. All the basic needs are provided by this institute and because of which students of this institute always feel good, friendly and experience a homely environment.
Faculty: The faculty members of this institute are well qualified and they are from the best institutes of India. The main thing from this institution faculty is that they are hard working. They go beyond the curriculum.

    Admission FAQs

Q:   Is BAMS hard or easy at doon institute of medical science?

    A:

One reason why BAMS can be considered difficult is the sheer volume of material that students are expected to learn. Ayurveda is a complex system of medicine that has been developed over thousands of years, and there is a vast amount of knowledge that needs to be acquired in order to become proficient in the field. In addition to the theoretical knowledge, BAMS students are also expected to gain practical experience through internships and clinical rotations, which can be demanding and time-consuming.

Another factor that contributes to the difficulty of BAMS is the fact that it is a highly specialised field. Unlike more general degree programs, such as Business or Psychology, BAMS focuses specifically on Ayurveda and related subjects. This means that students must have a strong interest in the field in order to succeed, as well as a willingness to devote themselves fully to their studies.

Overall, while BAMS can be challenging, it is also a rewarding course of study for those with a passion for Ayurveda and a desire to help others through the practice of Medicine.

Q:   How many times can I appear for NEET?

    A:

According to NTA a candidate can appear for NEET any number of times. There is no restriction on the number of attempts permitted. Moreover, ever since the upper age limit of NEET has been removed, there is even more flexibility in terms of the number of NEET attempts.

The exam is conducted once a year, hence candidates can appear only once in an academic year. But unless candidates fulfil the eligibility criteria, they would not be able to get admission even if they score the qualifying cutoff marks for NEET.
