Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2027

Excellent infrastructure, faculty and other facilities but less on-campus placements.
Placements: Around 60% of total students from the last batch got placement and here are fewer campus placement opportunities but still the highest among all from Agra. The highest package was around 70 LPA, which was off-campus placement, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average package is around 3-4 LPA. Rarely do companies visit our college. There are only a few companies like Tata Consultancy Services, etc. No internship is offered in this college, neither in the first year nor in the second year. Mostly students get into the field of teaching after completing their BCA degree; a few become software engineers, web designers or a few become data analysts, but these are not the limitations. There are many career options to choose from.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Khandari Campus is just like the top colleges of the state. Computer labs are equipped with all the necessary requirements, like i7 processors, comfortable seats, and air conditioning. Classrooms are always neat and clean; projectors and AC's in each classroom are installed for a better learning environment. There is no hostel for boys but there is one for girls and there are also good facilities.
Faculty: Faculty are well educated and highly qualified and are great at teaching; they have a great teaching skill. Everything being taught in the classroom is totally relevant and the course curriculum too, as it mostly focuses on the practical side. Students who pursued BCA are more likely to get into a MNC because of their practical knowledge. Level of semester exams is moderate to hard and passing percentage is 33.33%.
Other: Students are good but a mix of different boards, like some are on the CBSE board and some are on the UP board so it's very tough for faculty to go with both types of students. The best thing about BCA is the practical approach to each thing we study through our books; we have to spend more time in the computer lab than in the classroom and this is why I chose this course. It should be a 4-year course; it's very tough to study a completely new programming language in a semester of 4-5 months excluding examination time. This can be improved by reducing the syllabus or extending semesters in this course. Events are held every 6-8 weeks; youth festivals and calendar events are organized every year. Campus crowd is average, like neither too crowded nor too empty. The campus is well structured, like there are many buildings of different departments but still they are connected by a single cafeteria and 2-3 grounds. Scholarships are provided to the deserving students on the basis of their family income. Extracurricular activities are done every week in our classrooms related to our course and every year in calendar events.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of irregular lectures, faculty, and no sports or other activities.
Placements: In my college, the percentage of placements in our course is very poor, about 15% to 25%. The highest placement was 8 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Sorry, but I don't know about the top recruiters. The percentage of internships that students get is about 20% to 40%. The top role offered in the course is web development.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very poor with no regularity in any task or work. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students, only for professors. The computer labs are not well maintained, with minor defects in most of the computers, and some don't have good CPUs. The lecture rooms are just okay, but we face problems in the summer because some classes don't have air conditioning. There is no hostel in the college. The canteen is not good due to the limited menu. This college doesn't have any good playgrounds for sports, and there are no sports activities in the college. We barely see any sports events.
Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful in many things. They are qualified and knowledgeable, but not all the teachers. There are a few who don't have the exact knowledge. The teaching quality is good, especially among the male teachers. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready in many aspects. Semester exams in this college aren't very difficult. It is easy to get passing marks, and the passing percentage is about 85% to 95%.

Our college is the best but they have no placements.
Placements: In our college, no student got placed. Some students' skills were better than those of other students.
Infrastructure: Our college had a library, classrooms, and a canteen available. There was a safe parking space for bikes and cars.
Faculty: The exam preparation was carefully done during lecture time. Our teachers were very helpful in preparing for exams. Our teachers' knowledge was at the highest level and faculty members were excelling.
Other: Our course is the best for the future.

I am absolutely satisfied with good education.
Placements: There are no placements offered and no companies visit for placements. Students have to prepare themselves for placements. No internships are offered.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good but is old. The campus is inside the city. There are more places near the campus. Hostel rooms are not maintained and have no mess.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced only in theory but not practically. Curriculum is good with many courses. There are only 80 students in a class.
Other: I chose BCA. Time table of the university is not defined.

Overall, our college is good for BCA.
Placements: BCA course is the top most popular course on the list of computer technology field. This is the first batch of BCA, so I can't say about placements. At least 70 to 80% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: In our college, computer lab and Wi-Fi are available. The quality of our hostel is very good. The mess and canteen facilities are poor. They do not arrange any sports activities. The hostel facilities are good. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teaching quality is really helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. This course makes students ready for their future if they really work hard. In this college, the semester exams are moderate. The time limit is not good enough.
Other: The best thing in this course is learning about computers. The campus crowd is medium. Extracurricular activities are not good.
