Good college but not best.
Placements: 70% students placed. Highest 13.75 LPA and lowest 2.4 Lpa. LTIMindtree and TCS are some top companies. All student get internship in small companies. Digital Marketing is the top role offered. Many of the packages are very low and it is not good for students.
Infrastructure: Best structure and facilities are good. These facilities help us to grow and have a good easy life for students. Wifi is very fast and very difficult to access. It only connect to the laptops with anti virus, no mobile can connect to the wifi available in college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they are knowledgeable. It make student industry ready. Easy exams and pass percentage is 80-90%. They are well learner teacher. They help us in every situation theater it is difficult or easy to handle. They are our backbone.
Other: I want to be a digital marketer and best thing is it is a desk job. Practical knowledge should be improved. Extra curricular is good.

Amazing Days of DY Patil University.
Placements: About placement: Students' opinions differ, but more than placement, knowledge is important; with knowledge, you can easily secure a job. Our college provides many placement opportunities, including BNY Mellon, HCL Services, TCL, Barclays, etc. Some students secure two offer letters, mostly for analyst roles: senior analyst and finance analyst.
Infrastructure: There are many good facilities and subscriptions provided by the college. The Coursera Data Analyst Data Visualization course was offered free of charge. In the college lab, we have computers and a large collection of books in the library, including academic ones. I am living in a flat that is in front of the college, with three people sharing a room. The rent is 3,500 rs for each person, and the mess rent is 4,000 rs. The food quality and taste are good.
Faculty: About the college structure, they arrange lectures, but sometimes schedules are not followed, and many times class tests are arranged and cancelled at the last moment. They do not have good management. Savitribai Phule has a syllabus, and our syllabus is the same; it is one of the top universities. The exam difficulty is at a medium level; numerical and conceptual questions are asked.

Good college for doing MBA.
Placements: Top-notch placements from colleges and companies like Bajaj Finance, Indigo, HDFC, IDFC and Citi Bank come to hire. Packages are offered according to performance in the interview. In our batch, almost all get placed and some are preparing for government exams. From the 1st semester, we started getting internships at a stipend of 9 to 15k per month. The top role offered is marketing manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good on campus; special areas are made for student sitting, classrooms have projectors, and free internet is only available in the library. Hostels are good but mess food is the worst. Try to use the outside Sai mess; they have good food. No medical facility was given to us. In sports events, various indoor and outdoor sports competitions are held.
Faculty: Teachers behavior towards us is very polite but they are strict and disciplined. The teaching quality was good. The college is autonomous; that's why the syllabus is given by the college and recently it has changed and new emerging technologies have been included in the syllabus. Semester exams are difficult a few times each year. But if you attend regular lectures, it is not that difficult to pass, but definitely scoring is much more difficult.
Other: I chose this course after my graduation. I thought MBA had scope but later I realized it was going somewhere.

Good faculty build a better future.
Placements: The college placement percentage is good, but mostly good companies do not come for drives. MNC companies rarely hire students; many private local companies hire students as talent acquisition specialists or HR. Kirloskar oil engine, Sampark India, Eclex, force motors more is hiring companies package is 4lacs and more few companies offer 3.5lacs package. The internship period is the first 6 months of the boarding job.
Infrastructure: Campus life is good. Our college is in front of DY Patil Arts and Commerce. In college, 200 computers are connected through center serves. The latest licensed software, like SAP, and 24-hour internet access are some of the silent features of well-equipped labs. The institute library does have more than 20,000 books, journals, and magazines for students; there is a special reading hall. The hostel is in front of the college, separate for boys and girls. Many private and college mess facilities are available. The canteen is good; there are many flavors of tea.
Faculty: My college has pretty knowledgeable lecturers who were very helpful in building my knowledge and career. Lecturers used to give written notes after topics teachers took tests on that subject. The course curriculum is very flexible; it will go according to the academic calendar of Pune University, which makes students industry-ready. Exams are in the summer and winter sessions. The most important exams are the end-of-semester exams.
Other: For admission, you need a good MHT, CET, and CAT score with different cutoffs according to category.

I really miss my college.
Placements: The college set a record during our batch with the most hiring's. 100% of students got placement. Recruiting companies include IMRIEL Technologies, TCS, IBM, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL Tech, etc. Likewise, I attended 7 interviews and received offers from 3 companies. The average package was 4 LPA, and the highest was 18 LPA. Many students receive two or more offers. Internships are provided, but they are deemed useless.
Infrastructure: The college is near PCMC, so all modes of transportation (bus, metro, and local) are available. Our campus is very big, and the ground is always clean. Cleaning and washing are done from time to time. Wi-Fi is also available in libraries equipped with digital equipment like iPads and thumbs. Registration is required before entering the library. The hostel is very clean, food is like home-cooked, and there is good water availability. Canteens and tea shops are excellent, offering a variety of products.
Faculty: Teachers mostly use PPTs to teach. They simply read the PPTs and declare the syllabus complete, which is not fair. They should explain every topic. The course is good as it relates to the IT industry and makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are rigorous. Deep questions on every topic are asked.
Other: The college's outdoor area has its own unique vibe, with the best tea shops and mess stalls.

DY Patil Institute Of Management & Research.
Placements: The placement results for the senior batch this year were disappointing, but there is optimism for improvement in 2024. Only 40% of the students in the batch were able to secure placements, with only 15% of them being placed in reputable companies. Unfortunately, the remaining students were unable to secure lucrative job offers. Jio and Mahindra emerged as the top recruiting companies, with the highest package being 18 LPA. The most sought-after roles offered were SDE and business analyst.
Infrastructure: The college boasts a prestigious reputation, with a stunning campus and impressive infrastructure. The campus exudes a captivating natural ambiance, and Wi-Fi connectivity is accessible throughout. The library is renowned for its conducive study environment, while the hostel offers high-quality and delicious meals, unlike other budget accommodations. Additionally, there are numerous canteens both within and outside the campus. However, it is worth noting that our college does not have a medical faculty.
Faculty: Teachers provide valuable assistance; however, seniors offer the greatest support when it comes to academic doubts. They are always willing to help, and during exam periods, they assist in clarifying concepts. The recent change in the course curriculum has made it more industry-oriented, ensuring our readiness for the professional world. Scoring a minimum of 40% in all semester exams can be challenging.
Other: DY Patil is a brand name that was the reason for choosing this college over others.
