My Opinion and Overview of Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Design.
Placements: 80% of the students studying in our course have been placed. The lowest package was 4.5 LPA and the highest was 12 LPA. A few of the top recruiting companies for the course are Van Heusen and Vero Moda. About 80% of the students were given internships in companies such as Ivoomi. Product Designer, UI UX Designer, however, there aren't many limitations for Product Design as it is a very flexible degree.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities such as Smart Classrooms, Wi-Fi, 3D Printing Lab, Computer Labs, Library, Garment-making and Stitching Lab, Photo-shooting Labs, and a huge lobby which is fun to relax in. I do not live in the College Hostel, but from experience and conversations with my peers, I can confidently say the College Hostel is a nice place, with a Canteen.
Faculty: The teachers for my course are extremely knowledgeable and definitely qualified for teaching the topics in the course. The faculty comes from various fields which allow us to get information from different fields easily. The course curriculum is relevant to the course, making sure we learn whatever is necessary in our fields, allowing us to be more than well-prepared for the industry. The semester exams are a mix of theory and practical exams which are easy but can be challenging for people who aren't prepared.
Other: I chose the Product Design course as I was interested in the flexibility of the degree, as well as my personal interest in the field of design. The best things about the course are probably the amount of hands-on experience and knowledge you get from the faculty as they are pioneers in their field. I'd just like longer holidays. There are cultural as well as design events in the college. The college is beside the Mumbai-Bengaluru Expressway, allowing for efficient connectivity to both cities. The college provides a scholarship as well!

Placements: We get internships from the 2nd year. 80% of students get internships and placements. Packages start from 6 LPA to 10 LPA as a fresher. We receive training from the Placement Department, including communication skills, personality development, and resume building.
Infrastructure: We have various labs, such as garment construction and pattern-making labs, to upgrade our creativity. We also have CAD labs, an amphitheater, and auditoriums. Hostel facilities are quite up to the mark and worth the money. A lively atmosphere is seen, with a city-life montage.
Faculty: The faculty is very humble, helpful, and qualified in their respective fields. The curriculum is designed to help students gain knowledge from the beginning and reach greater heights. It is tailored to an industry perspective. The difficulty level of exams ranges from easy to moderate, yet they are very precise.
Other: I'm pursuing a B.Des in Fashion Design. I have a passion for this field because it helps me concentrate on the skills, qualities, traits, and acumen needed to be a successful designer from the start. We usually have a Design Summit and other cultural activities.

College is good, but the fee structure is not good; they don't even provide scholarships for student
Placements: In my college, a total of 80 students were placed, the highest package was 8 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Disney, Gold. They got placed in the same companies as provided by the college on campus. VFX Artist, 2D Animator, UI, and UX Designer were the roles offered by the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so cool and the place is good. Labs are so good, and all computers are in working condition. There is cleanliness in the mess and canteen and they provide the best food. There is also an indoor game center in the college. Food quality is good in the mess.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were helpful and qualified for their role in the college, and the teaching quality is good. The semesters are not that difficult if you study for the exams. You have to score at least 50% to pass in the semester exams of the college.
Other: The course opens the way for new tech jobs that will be on top in a few years. This course has job opportunities in every other field, and it is good. The campus is not much big and doesn't have a ground. Scholarships are not provided by the college, and activities happen in circular formats.

The university infrastructure is crafted with vivid colors palette and shapes that enhances the student ability to work with creativity along with airy and ventilated classes and access to smart classes.
Faculty: The faculty for fashion is expertise in their respect skill set along with delivering important content for aspiring young designers and updating with recent fashion trends and development in the industrial fashion world that allows the students to research and ignite their imagination with technical knowhows.
Other: The course is designed in such a manner that allows you to focus on the curriculum crafted as per industrial demand with enhancing not only your technical skills but building a personality with communication skills, confidence and thinking from problem solving attitude.

A college with good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Students have to score 45% to join this college. Many courses are offered by the college other than animation. It provides good placements. The role offered in our course is an animator and the job is fixed by the college.
Infrastructure: The campus surroundings are good. Classrooms are clean and nice to study. The hostel is good. Our college provides Wi-Fi but only for laptops. We cannot connect to our phones. Our college provides indoor and outdoor games to develop students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful for the whole academic year. Our seniors help students in their studies which is very helpful. Students are good. Our class teachers are good and helpful. The course is good.
Other: Our college conducts movie nights. It does not provide scholarships. Surroundings are beautiful in the world.
