It has life maintaining practical course with great potential and raising sports.
Placements: B.A.M.S. is an independent degree that does not require any placements in any particular hospital. One can open their clinic independently or give an exam to medical officer of any state government which is a very stable job. So the placement is almost 100% for everyone. Some people also prepare for administrative services after doing B.A.M.S. so that is also feasible option.
Infrastructure: This college building is an old but undergoing renovation continuously. Our college has physiology lab, anatomy lab, dravya guna garden, and RSBK department lab. It has a well-stocked library. But there is no Wi-Fi or playground. Sports are not much in our college but students go to play individually with their own money. Boys' hostel is not in good shape when I first entered. But now it has been provided good funds and better management by students. It is a very good option if we compare it to any other private hostel or anything. Food is provided by contact services.
Faculty: Professors are highly knowledgeable and great in their fields. Patients from various distant places come especially to visit our professors who have great success rates. As the teaching is mainly done in local language it might be difficult to understand in the starting but we get habituated to it. Some professors teach in English and exams are held semester-wise. Pass percentage is about 85%.
Other: Ayurveda seems to be popular now so I joined this college in hope of being a successful doctor soon in our indigenous and great field. This course has helped me clear so many misconceptions about Ayurveda and I like this field and course. I would like to improve my focus on practical knowledge and correlation with modern topics in this course. Only fresher's day is held once a year. Annual day and sports meet are events that I have seen only once in my 4 years of student life. Scholarship available to only state quota people.

Value for money with great knowledge but lacks proper campus.
Placements: After graduation, anyone can pursue multiple career options like medical officer by exams, post graduation, private clinics, jobs, etc., which is to be chosen independent of college. The minimum salary starts from 45k per month and can easily go up to 2L on average depending upon experience.
Infrastructure: No public Wi-Fi. Physiology and anatomy labs are available but averagely maintained. No canteen in college and no sports are played in general by students. Not enough space for playing. The quality of mess food available is moderate as seen in private hostels. Not living in a government hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and highly qualified with a lot of PG and great nature, but a few of the faculty members may not be able to share the knowledge properly. University exams are held once a year, but semesters are taken twice a year, which are moderately tough.
Other: I chose this course because I was not able to get an MBBS seat through NEET counselling. I chose this course because this was an independent course not requiring the mercy of other companies, and the knowledge given is very beneficial in daily life. No fests or events are held except for the fresher day celebration held annually by students.
