The placements are too poor, disappointed.
Placements: Only one company came for placement, that is ABB technology. The diploma students should have more placement opportunities. None of the batches had good placement. No one was placed. There is no internship programme in the college. No one was placed at all, only one company called ABB visited the college. There is a placement cell only for engineering students, and it is great.
Infrastructure: The other blocks have good infrastructure compared to the diploma block. Wi-Fi facility is there, but no sites will be opened, not even Google properly. There is a good library. Sports and cultural activities are excellent here. The labs were of very low-quality with old computers and components. Some of the components will do not work properly. The fests are very grateful. There will be an event every day in our auditorium. There is a huge campus crowd. The campus is good with 21 hectares.
Faculty: The faculty members are okay. The faculty members for the diploma are qualified, helpful, but not much knowledgeable. 30:5 is the student-faculty ratio. There is no industry exposure. The course curriculum wasn't much useful. It is only useful for the further studies of BE. The teachers show good interest in the internals so that the student could prepare early for the exams.

Dissatisfied with the civil faculty and the hostel mess but the college is student friendly.
Placements: The placements offered were good because engineering has not much scope left in the future according to me. It has 100% recruitment but offers given by the company is less hard. 300 students out of 800 get a job. The placements are simple. You just have to let them know what the skills and talent you have. And you even have to maintain a good score in all your semester exams.
Infrastructure: This college has no Wi-Fi facility for the students or hostelers. The labs are pretty good and tidy but few instruments are broken, and few don’t work properly. In welding class, they don’t provide your hand gloves, so the sparks hurt a lot. The classrooms are clean and tidy, and there is no disturbance due to the soundproof doors. The library and the medical facilities are good, but during the blood, check-up camp organised by the college doctors. There is scope for sports and games too.
Faculty: The faculty members are not good. There is a shortage of the faculty in the civil branch because of which many students score less. Maths faculty and the mechanical faculty is better. The electrical faculty is good but not better. The teaching methods are followed by the timetable given by the college which only followed by the maths faculty. The student to faculty ratio is about 60:1. The course curriculum was not useful at all.
Other: The college has a good environment with greenery around. The faculty is student friendly. But the mess food for the hostel is not good and provide very limited food which tastes bad. There are rats and snakes which enter the hostel because of the forest around our college.

A honest review from Dayananda Sagar Institutions.
Placements: The placements are fair. Around, 95% of the students got placed. The highest package is nine lakhs per annum, and the lowest is 1.6 lakhs per annum. The companies that visit often are TATA, Infosys, L&T, Mu Sigma, Dell and much more. Every year, around 100 companies visit the campus. Although, there is no scope for the internship as VTU timetable does not go with it.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the college. The classrooms are normal, no ground for games expect a basketball court. There is a medical facility, which is the worst. The quality of food in the canteen is also the worst. The infrastructure is well, though looks good from outside. The labs are well-equipped. When it comes to the hostel, the mess food is bad. Although, the hostel rooms are good.
Faculty: The faculty is good, friendly and helpful at any time and in any way they ever could. Their lectures are not that interesting, but you could understand them if you are willing to. They help you go along well with your course and provide you perfect notes.

All you need to know about Dayananda Sagar Institutions
Placements: This year, almost all the eligible candidates were placed and packages started from as low as 2.4 lakhs PA to as high as 7-8 lakhs PA. The placements here in this college is done under the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering and are pretty good.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-designed architecture with state of the art labs. There is a sports complex which consists of indoor games, auditorium which is under construction and a medical room which has a doctor during class hours. There is no Wi-Fi facility provided by the college for students. The rooms in the hostel are well maintained but the mess food is not very good. There is a basketball court and a sports ground in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members here are well-educated and supportive. The faculty are always ready to clear your doubts.never ever mess with the faculty or disrespect them or else you will be in great trouble, so respect them and everything will be fine. They will always support you if you are a decent student.
Other: Here, assignments are taken very very seriously and you have to write impositions if you score poorly in your internals, so this college is more of a school than a college. This college is one of the reputed colleges in Bangalore. So if you are fine with all of this, then you can take admission in this college. Attendance is very strict here.
