Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 70 percent marks are mandatory for placement. I have no idea about the highest and lowest package because placement starts this year. Top recruiters are TCS and Mahindra. They can hire you if you have the qualities they seek. For internships, a minimum of 50 percent is required.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-developed and good. Classrooms have a number of fans and lights for our comfort. Wi-Fi facility is available, along with computer labs, an auditorium, and hostel facilities for both boys and girls. A library and canteen are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in this college. Their teaching technique is very good. They help students in every possible way until they understand. B.Com and M.Sc. teachers are very supportive, more so than geology and other departments. These departments need more skilled teachers.
Other: Especially getting a chance in DGC is also not easy because one has to score at least 80 percent to confirm their seat.

Experiencing my college life.
Placements: Our college provided multiple training programs and placement training, and also companies like TCS are taking students from our college for jobs. Many students from our college have done internship programs during college days and interviews from companies like TCS, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are very well cleaned and designed, and the food in the canteen is also pretty good. We have many labs, and we enjoyed Wi-Fi connections in our college area as well. There is a huge library in our college too, where students used to collect books and study our subjects as per semesters.
Faculty: Yes, our faculty teachers and other teachers are very generous and kind. They helped us with various notes and books, with guidance on how to study. There are many other curricular activities like internships, social festivals, exhibitions, etc. We had a great pass percentage, mostly 80% and above.
Other: It is very market-friendly. Currently, accounting is needed in everything, so I thought it would be useful to study something that is in demand. Nothing I dislike as it is right now; maybe in the future, there could be some more extra practical industry visits or something like that. It would be more great.

The faculty members of our college are good, but the placement rate is average.
Placements: In our college, many students have enrolled in my session. This course offers various opportunities to build one's character. The top recruiting companies for our course are Tata, Birla, and Infosys. Around 70-75% of people secure internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in our college include a library, Wi-Fi, classrooms, playgrounds, and different departments for each section. Recently, lifts have been included. The hostel facilities are very good, but the food in our canteen is poor, and there is a need for improved medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are genuinely helpful in explaining the subject matter, and they encourage students to participate in various extracurricular activities. The semester exams at our college are not very difficult, but external examinations are quite challenging.
Other: I chose this course primarily for accounts and taxation. However, my interest in business law grew after a change in teachers. My campus is surrounded by green plants and shrubs.

A college that every student likes.
Placements: There are 30 percent of students placed in my course that is B.Com honours. The highest package that a company can offer you is 4Lpa and the lowest is 2 LPA. Companies like tata, mahindra, apollo can hire you and many more are there if you have the quality for them. 60% of student of my course get there internship in big companies like tata, mahindra, indian oil. There are professional roles that a person can offer you like CA CMA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and clean. Classrooms are very clean and enough number of fans and lights are there for your comfort. Wi-Fi is also available and libraries are also there. Both boys and girls hostel are here for students. And the quality and environment is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are great for the students. There is 1 teacher for every 12 students. They have great knowledge and very helpful to students. The course of every department is built for the students in that way which will make them a great industry specialist. Semester exams are not so difficult if you study regularly. The pass percentage of every semester is 40 %. .
Other: Extra curricular activities like NCC and NSS are also there for students who like to join them. There are many programs and events organised and celebrated.

It is one of the best government colleges in this city.
Placements: Almost 40-50% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are Huyandai, Axis Bank, Hero Motto Cop, and Future Group. Almost 80-90% of students get internships. The top roles offer are accountants, mathematicians, and financial analyst.
Infrastructure: DGC offers one the best infrastructure and courses for students on a low budget. It is top-rated college in this city, students need good marks for admission. The classrooms are well-maintained, and the laboratories are also good. There is no hostel facility for students. The college is surrounded by forest and has plays grounds but does not have a gym.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are very helpful in every way and their teaching techniques are very good. They help students in every way until they get. But only B.Com do not makes students for industry read, and they need some more skills. If students study normally then it is not difficult to appear in the semester.
Other: I like this field that's why I take admitted to B.Com, especially getting a chance in DGC is also not easy, they help me to enhance my accounting skills and give me an opportunity. But it needs to develop more jobs for B.Com aspirations and students still undervalued this degree.

Best quality studies provided by our college .
Placements: After graduation we did not get many offers for placement. Almost every students went for higher studies or started working. I got an offer to work as an accountant in Dhanbad Mines, Jharkhand but salary was very low 8000/- so I rejected the offer. Currently I am preparing for government jobs.
Infrastructure: There are hostels provided by our college, and hostels fees aren't that high, we had Wi-Fi connection, Labs and Library. Labs were for other classes, as we were commerce students. We got many standard books from our Library. We also had a Gym provided by our college. In Hostel foods quality was good.
Faculty: As Durgapur Government College is best in Durgapur, every teachers are well educated and well mannered. They are all M.Phil or Ph.D. holders. Our Principal was also a MBBS. They teached us well, our exams were tough though but every thing they teached was knowledgeable. Pass percentage was 40% minimum .
Other: I joined B.Com just for pursuing by dream for becoming a banker, As to becoming a banker one should know much about accounting. That's why I was interested. As for to improve our course they should add another subjects related to work in banking .
