Nov 22, 2024: Kolkata: Prof. (Dr.) R. P. Banerjee, Chairman and Director of the Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM), recently spoke at the 2024 Annual London Global Convention. The event, organised by the Institute of Directors (IOD) of India, ran from November 13 to 16, with the topic "Board's Strategy for a Secure Future and Turning Disruptions into Opportunities."The convention brought together distinguished leaders from across the globe, including representatives from the Government of India, the British Government, global industrial houses, and renowned academic institutions like the University of Oxford, London Business School, Coventry University, and the University of Westminster.
Prof. Banerjee's participation demonstrated EIILM's dedication to forging strategic global relationships and adapting to a rapidly changing business environment. His ideas were consistent with the event's emphasis on exploiting disruption as a path to growth and sustainability.The convention provided an opportunity for thought leaders to explore creative solutions, emphasising the value of academic collaboration in crafting a secure future. EIILM's attendance confirmed its position as a leader in academic and strategic thought leadership.
May 21, 2024: In a significant step towards enhancing industry collaboration and academic excellence, EIILM-Kolkata has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the prestigious Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in London. The landmark agreement was formalized by Prof. (Dr.) R.P. Banerjee, Chairman & Director of EIILM-Kolkata, and Mr. Paul Turner, AICPA's Regional Vice President for the UK & Ireland.
This MoU will enable the introduction of a variety of courses, Management Development Programs (MDPs), and workshops, including the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) Finance Leadership Program. The CGMA credential is recognized as the premier qualification for corporate professionals aiming to excel in management accounting.
January 18, 2024: The 5th edition of the Asian Integration Initiative Series of Borderless Asia was successfully organised in Malaysia by EIILM-Kolkata, a significant gathering of minds and aspirations. The esteemed Hotel Pullman, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, hosted the International Conference on "Trans Asian Integration of Industry, Business and Commerce" on January 6, 2024. A gathering of more than one hundred delegates from twelve countries—Cambodia, Mongolia, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, and India—came together to exchange ideas for a single, "borderless" Asia.
The ceremony gained diplomatic significance when Her Excellency, the Honourable Deputy High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, Ms. Subhashini Narayanan, graced the occasion. International educationists, business executives, and industry experts convened at the conference for a series of stimulating panel discussions, research presentations, and deliberations centred around the critical necessity of collective emergence.
The pre-event Asian Integration Dinner, hosted by Prof. Dr. R.P. Banerjee at the iconic KL Tower, marked the official launch of the grand event with the release of the Conference Brochure. The Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board gave souvenirs to all of the delegates, fostering a sense of camaraderie and cultural exchange among attendees.
The conference's main theme, "Trans Asian Integration of Industry, Business and Commerce," examined the Asian philosophy of prioritising people and brought it to the forefront of management and business debates. Reputable academics and dignitaries analysed this philosophy's contribution to promoting harmony in the international business environment.

EIILM - Kolkata Inspires Leadership and Talent at 'Apavrinu Vayam 3' Event
October 6, 2023: The third iteration of "Apavrinu Vayam 3: Let's Fly High Together," which was eagerly anticipated, was held on September 29, 2023, at the Taal Kutir Convention Centre, Taj Hotels, Ecopark, Kolkata. Over 2,500 passionate kids participated in this exciting and motivational event with the subject "Atma Prakash" (Unfoldment). It was a spectacular day of talent, leadership, and inspiration.
Rich Fozi, Director of Group Human Capital & Corporate Strategy at Toyota Malaysia, and Vikas Chadha, Managing Director of GI Infotech Pvt Ltd, Global Infosys, UK, honoured the event as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively. During the opening session, Dr Rima Ghose Chowdhury, EVP & CHRO of Datamatics Global Services Ltd, also provided her perspective.
In his speech, Prof (Dr) R. P. Banerjee emphasised the significance of "Atma Prakash" and praised about 2,500 participating students for their talent and self-discovery. 'Apavrinu Vayam 3: Let's Fly High Together' demonstrated extraordinary skill while also inspiring youngsters to take on leadership roles and explore their own selves.

Placements: All the students got placed in different states. MT programs are offered for better career development. Most of the students are placed in renowned hotel brands such as Taj, ITC, Marriott, Leela, Fairmont, Four Seasons, and Hyatt. We have international exposure programs where we get the opportunity to learn about international hospitality services and culture
Placements: The placement criteria are good. Results are decent. Almost 60% of students got placed in our batch. Students got internship opportunities in the 4th and 6th semesters. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Our college offers many good packages. Many students don't choose placements and pursue higher studies.
Placements: 40% student are being placed from my course. The highest salary package offered in BCA is rs100000/year, the lowest package is somewhere between rs500000-600000/year whereas the average salary lies between 750000 to 800000/year. Top recruiting companies are global infosys, tcs. Roles offered as per your knowledge.
Placements: I am pursuing a BBA degree in the marketing sector. I am going to graduate in 2025. Our college gives many opportunities in our respective fields. They give us internships in the market area for experience and these are paid internships. Almost 79% of the students are placed and others pursue an MBA or opt for any other field for higher studies. The average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA.
Placements: Companies like TCS, Zoho, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte hire students from this college every year. The highest, average and lowest packages offered by recruiters will be 16 lacs, 6 lacs and 3 lacs per annum. Our students were placed in several roles based on their skills.
Placements: The college has an average placement record. The faculty, staff, and security are average as well, which is why the rating is 3 stars. The only positive aspect is that there is no ragging or extra activities on the whole campus, which is a good thing.
