B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2023

Excellent college in manner of quality education, fee structure, and placement percentage.
Placements: Our batch is the 2019-23 batch of the mechanical engineering branch in the engineering college in Ajmer. We had 100 students in the 2019 batch in the mechanical engineering branch, which is the highest number of students in one branch. The placement percentage of our batch is 86%. These students go to companies like Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Metso, Denso, Bosch, Indigo Paints, and Adani Power.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very developed and advanced, in which free Wi-Fi is available to students and faculty. They can access Wi-Fi through the college ERP ID password. The labs of the mechanical department are fully advanced. All the precautions and safety measures are considered when going into the labs. Advanced lathe and computer numerical control machines are installed, and smart board classrooms are there. Coming to the library, the college has a fully furnished and air-conditioned library with 10 lakh books.
Faculty: Our college mechanical department is the first branch when the college was started, and the faculty is very experienced and helpful. Many of them are GATE-qualified, and the college mechanical department is NBA-accredited. The course curriculum is very relevant to advanced structure, company requirements, and students’ future.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because the mechanical branch of the college is very good, and all the teachers are very supportive. The branch also has NBA accreditation, and technical knowledge with moral values is considered there. It is a ragging-free campus, and ragging is prohibited, with strict action taken on students who engage in ragging. There are many events organized, including the annual function of the college, known as Tarangeni, in which all the alumni come and meet students, share their thoughts, and guide students about their future. The total fees per year are 72,000, but my fees are 7,200 due to the TFWS seat. The campus crowd is between 2000 and sumedha, and many scholarships are provided to students.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2023

Infrastructure is Good, overall college is nice, but placements are not satisfying.
Placements: I pursued my B.Tech in IT (Batch: 2019-2023). Placement rate is too low in the college. Although I got placed in my 7th sem, it was at a very low package. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest is 11 LPA (not so sure). I am from IT, so we were expecting a lot of IT companies for placement drives, but very few visited.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are overall good. Wi-Fi is available, and the library is there to issue curriculum books. Hostel facility is also there, but for girls only, and that too reserved for SC/ST category. Canteen and medical facilities are also decent. Overall, the facility and infrastructure are decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable as well. Teaching quality is satisfying. Semester exams are not that difficult if you study throughout the semester. You can easily get good grades in every subject. Mostly, students cleared the semester exams with good grades.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Overall review of Government Engineering Ajmer.
Placements: Since I am a fresher, I don't have any idea regarding placements. But students do get on-campus placement opportunities. The highest package is 15 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Students with a good CGPA get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi equipped with average speed, and all the classes are equipped with Samsung smart boards and speakers. The library has all the books, but only old publications are available. New publication books are not issued in the library. Sports facilities are good in college, but the grounds are under construction and will be operational soon.
Faculty: All the teachers are at least postpostgraduate,s, while some of them are Ph.D. holders. Most teachers are well-experienced and well-qualified, but some are just average. I would rate the course curriculum 3/5, as I don't think it made the students industry-ready. Semester difficulty levels range from moderate to difficult.
Other: Hostels are not available for boys. Fests are not organized. Webinars, events, and seminars are organized on a regular basis using the latest technologies. The college is on the outskirts of Ajmer, so connectivity is very poor.

Good placement and good infrastructure, and facilities are also good.
Placements: 70-80 percent of students were placed in my branch. The highest package of the college is 21 Lakh, and the average package is 5-6 Lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Adani Power Limited, Infosys, Hitachi, Vi, Aditya Birla Group, and many more.
Infrastructure: Library available. Wi-Fi available. Canteen. Top classrooms. Mess food quality is best. Cricket ground. Volleyball ground. Basketball court. Mess food is good, but sometimes the food quality is low. Canteen is available, but there are limitations on it.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Yes, my course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but if you read, it is a little easier.
Other: I chose ECE because this course combines software and hardware, making it the best branch for the future. There is nothing I wish would be better or improved about my course because it is already excellent. Events do happen, but they are very few.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2023
3.4
4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
All good but need some improvement.
Placements: Around 25% of students were placed in Computer Science. The highest package is around 7 LPA, the lowest is around 1.5 LPA, and the average is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include MetaCube, L&T, and Bosch. When it comes to internships, only about 5% of Computer Science students get them, mostly in organizations like RUIDP. The top roles offered are Software Engineer or Developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. We have Wi-Fi connection, and the labs are well-equipped with all the necessary resources. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, and the library is available for issuing books for study. The facilities in the hostel are quite good, but the food quality in the mess is below average. Medical and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers only teach subjects related to other exams, not the technical knowledge that would help improve our skills. So, the teaching quality is not great. The course is not relevant to the curriculum and does not prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are quite easy, and the passing percentage is around 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in technology and programming languages. There is a huge demand for software developers in the IT field. However, there needs to be an improvement. Instead of focusing so much on semester exams, both students and teachers should focus on technical skills that would help students get placed in good companies. A good thing is that the college provides scholarships to students. The campus is not very beautiful, but there is space.

3Placements2Infrastructure4Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good for core knowledge. Value for money if you get SFS seats.
Placements: Student with more than 6 CGPA got placed in our campus. As it depends on companies, it may change also. The highest package that was placed last year was 8-9 lakh per annum. The lowest package is of around 2-3 lakh per annum. On average, 30% of the students in my branch got placed in on-campus placements. The top companies that came to our campus are L&T, Adani Group, and Denso; all three usually come. As in our campus, in the first year, we have a 15-day internship, a 2-year 45-day internship, and a 3rd year 60-day internship; all of these internships are done by students themselves. The college doesn't provide this opportunity.
Infrastructure: On the name Infrastructure, there is nothing in our campus. There are 3-4 buildings, but they are not well maintained. Classrooms are average. There is a lack of classrooms, labs, and instruments. There is no proper sitting area in the campus. Hostel facilities are not good. There is no facility for boys’ hostels, and girls’ hostels don’t have proper facilities. Nothing is good in that. Facilities just lie to parents about their hostel facilities . Activities happen, but not at a higher level.
Faculty: Teaching of quality is good. Teachers are helpful and qualified also . Course curriculum is not relevant in satellite communication as it is an application of all subjects, but it is earlier in completing its prerequisites. SEMESTER exams are not tough, but they are not taken regularly; they always lag behind.
Other: I chose electronics and communication engineering because I had an interest in how networks work, how signals are sent and received. The best facilities are there in this branch. The course curriculum should be changed; it is outdated. Fests are never arranged; the college had its own auditorium.
