FDDI MDes Highlights 2024
The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) offers a Bachelor of Design (MDes) in Footwear Design and Production Technology. Admission to the MDes is based on the All India Selection Test (AIST), conducted by the Institution. After successfully cracking the test, candidates will be called for counseling in order of their rank based on aggregate score in AIST 2024. Before applying for the MDes, candidates have to qualify for the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any Discipline.
Selection: Based on the Merit list based on the FDDI AIST (All India Selection Test).

The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), admission to MDes is based on the entrance exam: All India Selection Test (AIST). The entrance exam is conducted by the Institution, for admission to its MDes programme. To apply for the entrance exams, candidates have to meet the MBA eligibility criteria.

FDDI MDes Admission 2024: How to Apply?
For FDDI Admission 2024 to the MDes programme, candidates are required to first apply for the All India Selection Test (AIST) 2024. Admission to the MDes course is entirely based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test. Therefore, candidates first have to fill out the application form for the AIST 2024.
Find below the steps that need to be followed for a smooth AIS application process:
Step 1: Visit the official website and tap on the ‘Admission 2024 - Apply Now!’ banner on the homepage of the FDDI.
Step 2: Now register by filling in all the required details, a valid email ID is mandatory.
Step 3: Candidates will receive confirmation for the registration in their email id.
Step 4: Candidate now has to fill out the application form with all the required details, and upload a photograph, signature, and documents.
Step 5: Now candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee through a debit Card / Credit Card. (Candidates have to keep a printout of the application form).
Step 6: Candidates have to re-login to the website (https://fddiadmissions.qualcampus.com/) for the admit card. A link for downloading the Admit Card for the written test, containing the details of the center/venue for the examination, etc., will be available.

Q: Is FDDI good for MDes?
Master of Design (MDes), with a duration of four years is divided in eight semester. The first two semester of MDes, will be a 'Compulsory Foundation' year where a basic knowledge of Design, Design principles, process, 2D & 3D CAD, Materials, will be imparted. In the last semester the students will be taking up Design Project/Research Project. Industrial internship is in built in the curriculum. The curriculum has been designed by a team of experts from IIT- Delhi.
