Diploma in Mining Engineering - Batch of 2016
4.2

It had good placements in 2015, but there were no placements after 2016.
Placements: More than 65% is required for placements in this course. We can get a salary package of 3 LPA to 10 LPA based on skills. Singereni Colleries Company Limited, the biggest company in mining in Telangana, offers internships for those who have a percentage of 60 or above. Roles offered by the company are overman, sardar, and shortfire.
Infrastructure: Facilities like a hostel, food, and Wi-Fi are available. The college has good labs and classrooms. The issue is that there were no fans in our classroom, but the quality of education has been good so far. The college doesn't encourage sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good. If students are truly interested in mining fields such as coal, metals, and gold mines, this course makes them industry-ready. Semester exams were not difficult. More than 90% of students passed the exams.
Other: There are cultural activities like festivals and annual days.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: I am a 3rd-year student from Gandhi Academy Of Technical Education. Many students get placed in our college every year. Based on the company, they will pay a suitable salary based upon the student's knowledge. Some top recruiting companies visit our college and offer more jobs. As we all know that majority of the companies will offer only software sector jobs. Our college will offer placements according to the student's skills. None of the students from our course got the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. The hostels are quite good. Even the food served in the hostel is average. The canteen serves healthy and a variety of food items. Our college provides medical, sports and games. Playground and library are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are technically very good and also in teaching. Our college teachers are helpful, enough qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it doesn't make the students industry-ready. The course curriculum has to be updated to what industry expects from the student. Even students are also capable of how to represent their abilities to the industry.
Other: Our college offers a good environment.

Review of Gandhi Academy Of Technical Education.
Placements: Nearly 60% of students get placed from this course. But nowadays, the recession is going on, and it is very typical to get a job. The highest package was 20 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average was 6-10 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini are the recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructures and facilities are good. Well-managed campus. Daily, the classes and campus are cleaned. We have enough lab tools like circuits, computers, AC, etc. Huge library and good books are maintained. We refer to those books for exams and for gaining knowledge.
Faculty: Faculty are well trained and giving the best teaching. Most of the teachers have great experience in their teaching field. They know how to deal with typical students in the class and how to enable those students to study. Class is managed in a proper way.

Our college was very good for bright future.
Placements: Around 75% got placed. The highest salary package is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package is 12 LPA. Students have to get 70% to get good internships and 80% from top companies.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good like home. Food is awesome. Canteen provides coffee, tea, and tiffins like Idly, Dosa, Bonda, etc. in the morning and the afternoon rice, any two curries, sambar, and curd. Same in the night. Basketball and volleyball grounds are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are more helpful. They guide how to learn the subjects and how to pass percentage. They teach subjects very understandably. Everyday afternoon labs are conducted to visualise what they teach.
Other: Our course was too good. College conducts some culture programs, freshers parties, and farewell parties.

Satisfied, good placements .
Placements: Some of the top global recruiters include Amazon, Apple, BCG, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, etc. On the other hand, the top Indian companies are Tata Consultancy Services, Reliance, Cognizant, Wipro, ICICI Bank, etc. So many students are placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of a college plays a vital role in the development of the college as the students are now focusing on the labs, classrooms, etc. While selecting a college. The software should support the academic work of the students along with bringing out their extracurricular activities.
Faculty: One of the best ways to improve the quality of teaching in a classroom is for the teacher is to guide students to be active learners rather than simply be spectators. These include student collaboration, asking students to analyse case studies, debates and discussing new ideas both during lectures and homework.
Other: The importance of extracurricular activities on college campuses is well established. The primary goals of extracurricular activities focus on the individual student level, the institutional level, and the broader community level. These activities exist to complement the university's academic curriculum and to augment the student's educational experience.

It is a moderate college of engineering.
Placements: About 50% of the students studied in our course. The lowest salary offered in our course is Rs. 20,000 per month, while the highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. About 20% of the students got internships from our course, and lecturer roles are offered in my course. It is a moderate college to study engineering and not very well for good students.
Infrastructure: Labs are not available, and there is no Wi-Fi facility in our college. The library is average, and the classrooms are also average. This college is only for students who don't study well. We can grow in extra activities. We will study at an engineering college to develop our skills.
Faculty: Teachers here are not bad, and the teaching is good in the workshop. It is a useful college to develop us in extracurricular activities and to provide good knowledge to improve our skills. Mainly our college makes us understand about our life and how to survive. Our college gives high freedom.
Other: Mechanical is a good course, so I have chosen it. Mechanical staff members are improving. Events organised here are good.
